I think people would appriciate this thread if you told more about this, why do you want us to disslike this, what points in the video are arguable,false or whatever instead of just saying Hey,go here and click this cause I say so.

I think the OP is just merely standing for a position where he believes that OBE account for substance dualism and astral projection.
Of course since there's no solid evidence of both substance dualism, astral projections and any other claim that consciousness can happen outside the body, along with all the clairvoyance claims during OBE's, people have a hard time agreeing. In this case, you're telling us to not be skeptic and just go with your word.

I ended up agreeing with the hosts as I always do on TAE. They take a skeptical approach and refuse to believe in things that are unsupported by evidence. Liked.

I tend to err on the side of "Figure it out" in regards to personal experiences of OBE, Astral Projection, and what not. On the same token, I am not opposed to someone using logic, science, and reason to attempt to debunk it. Withholding and suppressing information is pretty evil.

I tend to agree with what is being said in the video, and as you probably can see there are others on this site who share a similar view. *liked*

I think you should realize this site consists of many different people with many different beliefs. You probably would have been Better off just disliking the video and letting the issue go. Or possibly you could have started a different thread that leaves the issue open for debate instead of asking others do do what you want because you disagree with their arguement.

Liked it because they had a reasoned discussion whereas you just dogmatically commanded people to agree with you.

I actually never even clicked the link, I have now. My first instinct is that OOBEs are definitely verified. In that people have experienced the sensation that they have left their body. OOBE does not presume anything more is going on other than the experience.

Furthermore there are false assumptions being made. For example, the one dude claims consciousness cannot leave the body because brain signals follow nerve endings which do not leave the body. Just because the brain is limited to the brain does not mean consciousness is limited to the brain.

But I'm still not disliking it.

Oh well geeze - nobody's arguing with the fact that people FEEL like they leave their bodies! If that was all OBEs were supposed to be then there'd be no argument at all - I think most people have experienced it at some point in their lives or will. If people were actually content to just admit all it is is a strong feeling of leaving the body then we'd all dislike the video.
