Sorry it took so long to answer your post. I must have accidentally glanced over it a few times. What you need to do first is stabilize. First try to appeal to each of your senses. Smell the air around you (does it smell familiar?), listen to the sounds of your dream (can you hear anything around you?), take a big inhale and taste that dream air (see if you can taste anything in the air), feel and notice the temperature around you (is it hot, cold?), and take a good look at your environment (what do you see?). Once you have answers to these questions you should be free to move. What this does is help establish yourself in the dream world. Even if you know it is a dream, this will allow the entire lucid experience to engulf you. If the dream scene is blurry/not very vivid you can now try rubbing your eyes, rubbing your hands together, feeling some dream textures, etc. Good luck to you! |
