      Question about WILD/SP

I am a fairly confident lucid dreamers in terms of DILDs, but I'm really trying to push for WILD.

I have no problem getting into sleep paralysis, in fact it's fairly easy for me. Most times that I try to WILD, I get into Sleep paralysis within a few minutes.

My problem is after that (during sleep paralysis). I'm getting mixed ideas about what I'm supposed to do once in sleep paralysis. Some people suggest that I should just be passive and watch whatever comes my way, and some say I should actively try to imagine a dream scene.

In my situation, I usually don't have very vivid HI, so there's not much to watch. There's a lot to hear, and my auditory hallucinations are fairly vivid.

Should I create the scene with my mind and try to live inside of it, or should i passively wait for it to come?

      Thanks
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.

You can do either, I like to create the scene myself because then I can start out wherever I want. You said your HI isn't very vivd so maybe creating your own scene would work better for you.

Maybe you should pretend the auditory hallucinations "are" the scene. When you feel are in a scene with consistent sounds, try "opening your dream eyes."

I'm trying to have a WILD as well. I haven't yet, so this is just speculation.

I'm not trying to insult you, but you positively cannot move at all during your sleep paralysis, correct? It's a stupid question but necessary

You should be able to just separate in SP. Rotating, reaching out and 'grabbing' something. Have these worked for you?

Separating? I've not heard of this. What is separating?

It's a term for going into a lucid dream or OBE (which I believe are very similar) from the state of sleep paralysis

I just lay down there while suddenly I find myself in another place.

      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

So basically, whenever you successfully WILD?

I'll have to look that term up some time.

I have never heard of this term.. I guess it's not well known.

Have you used the WBTB with WILD? If not I suggest that you should.

Transitioning is the hardest part of WILD but after the first time it should be easier.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

      Well . . .

I'd say it's actually pretty simple, as long as your focused.

Wake up naturally in the morning. Make it your intention to NOT move a muscle. You can not have any voluntary movement. Maybe a quick shift for comfort, but that'll most likely delay the process. Don't move, and stay focused. RELAX. RELAX. RELAX. That is so important. Feel yourself sink into the bed. The hard part isn't necessarily entering sleep paralysis, it's not falling asleep. Stay alert mentally, don't wander off or you'll probably fall asleep.

Just wait after that. When it comes, you'll know. Good luck!

waking up without moving on my back puts me into what I believe is sleep paralysis (however it may possibly not be it). There's that heavy feeling and the intense vibrations, but the most important part is when the vibrations stop, a lucid dream begins and that's all I'm worried about. I don't shift at all though, even if I'm not comfortable

It sounds similar to what you do, do you ever experience the vibrations?

well I used to get the vibrations but not very much anymore. Maybe I just don't notice em anymore. For me, it's just a very heavy, but still relaxed feeling.

Vibrations aren't necessary. They're merely there if you have difficulty adjusting to the non-physical thingy (or something along those lines). Anyway, some people don't experience them at all.
I, for one, have never experienced 'intense vibrations'. I think I've experienced mild ones though, although I'm still debating how far I've actually got with all this.
