Could you explain in more detail how this helped you? What was the exact effect of it?

Are you sure you are WILDing, thats wake induced, hence you go in from being awake, you sound like you are describing DILDs or DEILDs to me.

No. I use the mantra "I will wake up during a dream" and when I dream after a bit I wake up then I can WILD in less than a few minutes without moving once

Seems to me you are describing a DEILD

Hi Doareality check..woah long name lol...Ok I think I know where your coming from..I get what I would call a WILD but some on here say its DEILD but I disagree..all my life it has happened..I will wake in the night...fully awake, sometimes go to loo or sometimes just lie there when I wake i then after about 5 seconds get a throbbing in my head and think right here we go..at the same time as the throbbing I also get the "swooshing" noise..I know I am awake and not asleep..an experienced lucid dreamer can tell the difference...this has also happened to me before even sleeping!! Anyway I think to myself "here we go" and i go into a lucid from a waking state..this is definatly WILD if it was a DILD then I would be going into a lucid from maybe a FA or another dream..So yes you are doing a WILD in my opinion, from wake to lucid in a few seconds, I do also..well done on your lucids. I don't use a Mantra all the time..mine just happen most of the time and I have found that using a mantra tends to cause me to fail..I think if you do it naturally like I do then why try harder as it slows it and stops your lucids

If you woke up from a dream without moving, then went into another dream within a few minutes, that's called a DEILD. It's a variation of WILD, but the full WILD itself would take longer than just a couple moments to do. Congrats on the DEILD chain!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

The way you normally WILD may in fact be DEILDing

Yup. The way you have worded everything sounds like it wasn't WILDing.

Maybe. I'm unfamiliar with how DEILDs work. I just wake up while in a REM cycle and lay still and wait for SP. I don't think in DEILDs you go into SP while awake? When waking up from a dreaming state it takes me no time at all to hit SP again

With DEILDs you wake up after a dream, then remain still immediately, tricking your mind into re-entering a dream. In a WILD, you get up after a dream, walk around for a while, then lie still for a longer period of time; you can also do this during naps.

Well sometimes I'll go use the restroom or drink some water or even just sit up to check the time. I can't WILD if I get out of bed for more than a few minutes. And it usualy only takes about 10 minutes max to hi SP. I haven't even tried a DEILD but I will soon

If you move when you wake up you are doing a DEILD (Dream Exit Induced)
If you get up at all then you are doing a WBTB WILD (Wake Induced)

I think you mean if you DON'T move when you wake up, it's a DEILD.

Right Puffin let me ask you this..I wake from my dream then i move about and am awake , open my eyes look around my bedroom etc, sometimes get a drink or use the loo..but on the times when i wake from a dream I stay in bed move and get comfy again and check what time it is, i then lie down again and in within about 2 seconds i get the head throbbing and the "swooshing" noise, i know i am going into SP then and will go from there into a lucid, this cannot be DEILD as I move, i check time etc so it must to me be a WILD after waking and being awake for a short period of time like 3 minutes or so, my SP comes so quickly its like super fasdt and very unexpected
