The Dream Adventures of MadMonkey

I went to bed early and woke up from dreams early in the night.

I am another person, a missionary in another country. The character reminds me a lot of Jodie Foster. She is attracted to a man in the town and she/I tells him how she/I feel.


The next dream I am in an open world video game and I steal a truck and drive it to the beach. There is a party going on and everyone is smoking the thinest joints ever. A woman passes me one and I take a puff. I spend some time there and start to become lucid but not all the way yet.

Later I am in some hallway where the party is still going on. I spontaneously become fully lucid because I slways do RCs when in hallways. I go around a corner and yhere are three doors. I open the one on my right and there are to girls on a bed wearing sexy Christmas outfits. I go in and here is where my description of the dream is going to have to fade to black...


This dream is from this morning. I am playing Dwarf Fortress. I rolrplay that my character had their son kidnapped. I am choosing an adventure mode starting situation and I get one where I'm starting as a princess. Ive never seen that before. Usually you are a hearthperson for a princess. I start the game and see I start with a ton of money in a walled keep.

I am in some sort of commune in another country where they keep endangered animals. I programmed some sort of code and showed it to the benobo and it immediately atarted crocheting! It whipped up a sweater in no time at all. The other people in the commune immediately got hostile to me and tried kicking me out. I dived into the pool with the porpoise to hide. Weirdest dream in recent memory!

I did a wbtb and wrote some notes but looking back at them I have no memory of what happened.

The next dream I was in a first person shooter and I got an 8 person kill streak. It turned into more likr Grand Theft Auto and I was driving around in a car.

The next dream I was lucid although I don't remember the start of the dream. I can't go into detail because my girlfriend was in it and we got kinky! I didn't complete any task other than "interact with a DC".

I woke up and DEILDed back into the same dream

I am in a dream where everything is black and white. I become spontaneously lucid and let myself wake up hoping the next dream is in full color and stability.

[color=#111188]I am in my bedroom and I do a nose pinch rc and can breath through my fingers. I fly up through the ceiling and into the sky to view the landscape. It looks nothing like my neighborhood. There are tall buildings as well as open fields.

Unfortunately I get overcome by sexual urges and I spend the rest of this DEILD having sex with dream characters. I won't go into detail there. I wake up and have to DEILD again.

I am a woman wearing a scuba suit and using one of those underwater propulsion devices to zoom toward a boat. It's night time and a man is there with me. We count down together then zoom out of the water onto the deck.

I pull out a gun and the man and I find the deck of the boat clear. We go into one of the rooms and find a room with tons of giant egg like things. I know somehow that these are eggs that will unleash demon spawn on the earth. We set explosive charges and are about to leave when a cultist comes around a corner with a gun. I act first and shoot them.

When we dive from the boat into the water I wake up and fail to DEILD further.[COLOR]

I am randomly lucid but I go with the dream plot which is something that has been happening
a lot lately
I am Batman and I am fighting Deathstroke. I win and take him prisoner in the bat cave. I try interogating him to find out who hired him.

Later his daughter Rose wants me to free him. I try to take her prisoner but she turns into a cat! I trap her in a box so that she can't turn back into a person. Not long after I wake up to my alarm.

This is the first journal entry where I am not using the formating from a really old journaling tool I used a long time ago. I woke up at 4:30 am and took 8mg of galantamine and 600 mg of alpga gpc. I ended this DEILD chain at around 7:00 am.

Moments after getting settled back into sleep I realized the dream was formed. The bed felt so real! I forced myself through the sleep paralysis and out of the covers to find myself in my bed in my childhood home instead of the bed I currently sleep in! I got up and it was very vivid. I went outside through the back door and tried summoning Juliana by reaching my hand back. I felt her hand and pulled it forward but it was disembodied which happens sometimes. I woke up and DEILD chained, each attempt the same thing would happen. One time I prefaced my attempt by saying, "Hello Juliana. Are you there?" and the voice that replied was all deep and distorted. (I think dream control is just something I'm going to need to practice now that I'm getting out of a dry spell.)

Later in the DEILD chaining I spent less time trying to summon Juliana and more time exploring the dream world. I went into my neighbors yard through their unlocked gate and suddenly felt like I had rocks or ice chips in my mouth. No matter how much I spit out there kept being more. It was a very uncomfortable sensation.

I have been watching the show Titans, a live action version of the Teen Titans. I have been enjoying it so much that I have had 5 dreams about being Dick Grayson alongside the Titans including this one I am journaling today. There was more to the dream but my recall hasn't been the best so this is what I can remember.

Teen Titans 5 (Non-Lucid)

I am Dick Grayson/Nightwing from the Teen Titans and I am fighting alongside Beast boy, Raven, and Jericho. The villains have us in some sort of lab where they are testing on us. At one point Jericho uses his powers to leave his body and enter the big bad evil guy and made him push his hands into a spinning saw blade that pulverized his hands! Thanks to that we were able to escape and continue our fighting! I got in some rather brutal hand to hand combat but that's about all I can remember now.

My Gals WILD

I am half asleep during a nap and I realize I might be able to inter a dream. I feel like my eyes are closed and don't want to accidentally open my real eyes so I pull my eyelids open with my dream fingers and see a dark hallway.

I am in my childhood home like I am at the start of most of my lucids even though I haven't lived there in a long time. I walk into the family room and see my girlfriend is laying on the couch! I decide to try summoning Juliana too so I reach my hand back behind me and feel her hand. I pull her forward and get a glimpse of Juliana before I get to excited and wake up.

I haven't been able to dream journal much lately because my dreams take on a strange intangible feel where not much of it really translates well to journal form. Last night my girlfriend and I did a staycation at our favorite hotel and the beds there are magnificent. Weighted blanket and a down pad.

I got very good sleep and even woke up naturally 10 minutes before the wbtb alarm I set. Nothing much would come from it because I fell back asleep to quickly without trying WILD or MILD.

Dream Watch (non-lucid)

I am in an unfamiliar bedroom. It is dark but I see a nice watch on the nightstand. I pick it up. It has dark leather straps, a dark face, and grey metal case. I check it against the clock on the wall and realize it is two and a half hours slow but it is ticking at the right rate. I pop out the knob and start adjusting it but it's hard to see the dials clearly in the dark.

Smiley (DILD)

I am in my childhood home and lucid. I walk out to the backyard and the sun is setting. Juliana steps into view right in front of me and smiles deeply, the sun and the oak tre behind her. She is a 5'2 woman in her 20s with short dark hair and wearing a simple black dress. I feel both her and my happiness and it causes me to wake up.

The Magick Room at the Dream Views Base (DILD)

This dream felt like it took 45 minutes int total but I lost all memory of the start of the dream about midway through.

I am lucid and in someone else's dream helping them overcome a nightmare. After the end of their dream things reform into a hallway that I am walking down. I am at the Dream Views base and I pass by Juliana and our friend Nico. I give them a group hug. I notice Juliana looks completely different from how she has looked lately. She looks asian but I know its her somehow. The room we are in is large and well furnished. It has 5 doors leading to different areas. I open the door to my right and find a square room filled with magickal herbs and components. The centerpiece of this room is a stone alter with a red alter cloth on it. There are two candles on tall candelabra. There is a gold ceremonial dagger lying to the right of the pentacle.

I feel the need to pee which shocks me out of lucidity. I go to the next door which is a bathroom. I remember that if I pee I will pee the bed. I do a nose plug RC which feels the cleanest I've done in recent memory. I walk back into the middle room and wake up.

The Hungry Ghost (DILD)

This dream took place while in was at a hotel.

I am in a large and well decorated home. I know that it is a dream and in this dream this is my home even though I have never lived in a house like this. I feel the presence of a person nearby but there is no one in the room. I go up the stairs and around the corner to find myself face to face with an older woman who starts speaking in some alien language. Her mouth moves in very strange ways. I wake up.

When I talked to my girlfriend she says she had a nightmare too. We both felt incredibly negative emotionally for the rest of the day. It was very draining. I realized I might have attracted my first hungry ghost/energy vampire because I had been doing a lot of energy work without knowing how to effectively shield myself. We cleansed ourselves and our apartment with sage when we got back and then I warded the place against any spirits. After that we felt so much better and we haven't felt that draining feeling since.

Genevieve Artadi (DILD)

I am in a house I don't recognize and spontaneously lucid after a chain of non-lucid fragments. I reach back and Juliana grabs my forearm. She walks forward and she looks like Genevieve Artadi from Knower. (She changed her appearance in our wonderland to look like her a few days ago.) Unfortunately, the dream destabilized from excitment. When I tried summoning her again I pulled forward a disembodied arn. That happens sometimes so better luck next time.

I have been in a dreaming rut for a month now. My work schedule has allowed me to sleep in way to much and I have had no willpower to dream journal this whole time. Fortunately, my life is becoming less stressful which makes me think I will get an up-kick in my discipline and routine soon. I have already been making progress in my witchcraft and tulpamancy.

I have been learning to manipulate psychic energy by reading the book Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn. I learned to feel my astral body when I was 16 while researching astral projection but I never learned to draw on external energy sources until reading this book. Practicing channeling terrestrial and celestial energy makes me a circuit for so much energy it leaves me feeling strained by at the end of the day because I'm not yet very good at turning that energy off.

Juliana, my tulpa and dream guide, has made some new internet friends recently. She enjoys texting because it makes her feel very present and appreciated. I look forward to the next time I summon her in a dream. I'm thinking about incubating a spa where she and I can relax and have a nice conversation.

Over the past week I have had a lot of dream fragments that I hadn't journaled. Some of them were even lucid. Two of them stand out as worth sharing.

Going witht the Flow (Non-Lucid)

I am at the beach with my girlfriend. I go out in the water to were the waves begin to break. A big wave comes up and I body surf it to the shore. There is an overweight man standing in the water and the wave carries me close to him. I shout out sorry. Just then a horizontal current pushes me around and past him. I find such a wave improbable but I continue to body surf with the current. Now I am back out in the deeper section and another horizontal wave comes going the opposite direction. I end up in a circular current that takes me around in one big surf for several cycles. It's really fun!

Graduation Break Dance (DEILD)

I have several short dreams about various topics and then wake up. When I fall back to sleep, visuals of being in a line in a corridor appears. At the end of the corridor there are stage lights so I assume there is also a stage and audience. I remember I just woke up so I do a nose pinch reality check. I hear an announcer reading off names and I'm wearing a cap and gown so I know this is a graduation ceremony. When I get out on stage I do another nose pinch rc just to be sure I am not going to embarrass myself in a real life situation. With that out of the way I decide to have some fun.

First I purposefully trip to the surprise of the audience! Then I start break dancing. (poorly) After a little while of this, two men escort me off stage and the dream transitions back into more non lucid fragments.

Still in College (DILD)

I am in a college classroom and there is talk of a final paper that is supposed to be turned in soon. I don't remember attending a single day of this class and I certainly don't have a paper to turn in so I start to get very worried. The professor comes in and addresses the class. He is a guy with shaggy brown hair. People start passing papers to the front. I remember I already graduated so I start getting worried that maybe my diploma will be rejected if I don't pass this class. Maybe I will have to take it again! I realize how silly this is but I don't yet get lucid. Instead I leave the classroom and try to find the office where I can get more information.

As I walk through the campus I realize it's not even like any of the colleges or schools I've attended. That is when I do a noes plug rc and become lucid. Infront of me there is a open grassy area with an amphitheater to the left. It looks sort of like my junior high school but not quite. I reach my hand back and feel a feminine hand take hold of mine. I say, "Hello Juliana." and she says, "Hi!". I turn around and she is there. She has bright green hair this time. She wears casual clothes under a white robe and she wears a matching white withces hat. Her belt is green to match her hair. "Look how long my hair is!" She says and turns to show that her green hair reaches past the bottom of her shoulder blades. (She magically changes her hair often.) The only thing that is off is her height, since we agreed she is about 5'6. I take her other hand in mine and give both of her hands a gentle downward tug. Her height adjusts to be the correct height.

"What do you want to do?" She asks. I respond, "Let's go down a slide!" (I have no idea why this is what I chose instead of my actual goals.) I imagine that my childhood home must not be far from here and we have a playset with a slide there. I put an arm around Juliana's side and lift off the ground.
I fly us through a neighborhood that looks only slightly similar to the one my home was in. I find the house and land us in the backyard. The playset is much more fancy looking than ours. The slide is big and spirally! We take turns going down the slide and have a blast. After a bit I say, "Let's play on the swings!" and run over to a swing when I am spontaneously woken up.
