Unhappy I'm Scared to Lucid Dream ever again.

I have been training lucid dreaming for about 2 years now and i have had around 20-22 Lucid dreams but recently it started getting scary.
So about 1-2 months ago i had a lucid dream in which i was gliding through the air in my neighborhood and i saw a DC standing near our neighborhood restourant. I went down next to her and i tried to talk to her (first time i have tried talking to a DC) i asked her "Who are you" she replied "I am you" i was confused but i quickly remembered that you can talk to your unconscious in lucid dreams.
I moved around and i she was staring at me, her face was always looking at me wherever i went.. VERY CREEPY.
So for some reason i wanted to shake that creepness off and i started dancing, she started too and suddenly i felt something behind me and heard a Gigantic roar i just jumped out of my bed and realized it was a car outside.
So anyways after that happened i had another lucid dream about a week after that.
I was near my school and i decided to try and eat something. After i did that i felt very terrified for some reason. It was dark and eerie.
I tried to go near the clouds and calm myself down, but that feeling didn't go away.
The clouds were dark and i was so terrified.. the dream ended there.
And yesterday i had a third one. This time i knew it was my mind playing tricks on me, but i still couldn't calm myself
Again it started as a terrifying feeling which i was able to contain and while i was looking through the window of my room I saw a dead man on the road. i started getting this creepy feeling again and thought scary things. Next thing i know this guy is walking across the road like the girl from the grudge (face in the front and walking on four limbs backwards). I got super-scared and quickly used my escape method (closing my eyes and reopening them) which resulted in a false awakening.
So my question is - How do i get rid of this. I know it's not lucid nightmares, because i can control it. I also know that it is my fault because i am thinking these scary things to happen, but i just can't stop.
Also sorry for my English, it's my third language.

You aren't controlling the dream fully. If you are, you can simply change everything and turn creepy things into something funny or nice.

I have to agree with Mellanhavande here in that if you had control over the situation then these things wouldn't be happening. If you keep running away from these experiences then they'll most likely continue to manifest again and again. Best way to get rid of them is to confront the situation. Remember, no matter how scary the situation might get, know that what you're experiencing is a dream, nothing more, nothing less.

      I will say this again.
I can control the dream but i cannot get rid of this sensation.. it's like a terrible feeling that i get in all of my LD"s now.
      That feeling triggers these scares..

I've read that eventually, while practicing lucid dreaming, you run into your "shadows". Basically you unearth suppressed subconscious stuff and it can get nasty. I suggest you confront the feelings/events and allow them to be, don't run and don't resist.

I think I sort of know what your talking about. It's hard to describe but for me it feels like a heavy feeling of dread and negativity. Like you don't want it to be there but it just comes on you suddenly. It could be just the dream influencing your feelings or maybe your just scared even though you don't want to be. You should do what the others say and ignore the feeling. Than confront your fears calmly/change the dream scene by going somewhere else in the dream or making it change another way. Its okay to be scared at times but you'll feel better if your brave about it and think in a balanced way. Also, I know this might sound weird but I find that singing in my dream or having a DC buddy helps calm me down. Maybe dancing can be your thing but I wouldn't know if you'd want to be dancing so much. XD

I think you should try to ask yourself what is actually unpleasant about the situation. Instead of spending a lot of energy feeding into fear and trying to escape from the situation, face it confidently (preferably without using violence and negative emotion). Just about every nasty you come across in an LD will react positively to positive energy. Try giving grudge guy a hug, or accept him lovingly as a part if yourself.

There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. It's not about "being in control"--it's about being ok with who you are and being confident about that.

Sounds like you are the one who gave too much power to the girl from the first dream and let it carry over to other dreams.

If all other methods fail you, you could try my crazier methods.

Basically what I do when these kind of creatures show up that they terrify you to the point of being unable to fight back is let the horror in your mind to run loose. Let it take over as a new form of control and terrorize back the enemy as a wild beast; whenever I do that will always end up eating the enemy and the problem will be solved right after.

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies. You really helped me out.
Last night i had a lucid dream in which i was viewing myself from 3rd person then i did a RC, changed it to 1st person and again i started feeling this but weaker.
What i did was i span around and it just disappeared..
I span around again so i can enter another place but it ended up being a false awakening.
So i guess i found a way to deal with that. Thanks Everyone.

I have this kinda sudden surge of negativity in lucid dreams very rarely but i know what you mean. Usually its when im outdoors at night and suddenly realise theres no lamposts or lights or even people, almost too quiet. Its a bit freaky but i guess thats where you expect something bad to happen so it does happen. I tend to try and change the scene or time of day, however this can be quite tricky. So try just putting a light source down on the floor or against a house as you are walking along to brighten the place up a bit. Its much easy to imagine a couple of lamps or outside lights being behind you when you turn round than changing the whole scene :-)

Actually what i did was i teleported myself in a place of complete darkness. I couldn't see anything and it felt very calming and relaxing. (what ended up happening was me moving around then touching something - opening my eyes for some reason and having a false awakening.

What you did was escaping the situation. If you want the feeling to go away, and stay away for good, do not escape it. It will only follow you if you do so. You probably get this tense feeling for a reason, and I suggest that in your next lucid dream you ask the dream why. Just shout it out! "Why am I getting this feeling?" or if a scary DC appear, ask him/her/it what him/her/it represents, or why they appear in your lucid dreams.
There is a lot of stuff we can't control both in waking life and also in mental space. The unconscious is far more complex and aware than we can understand.

A lot of people say don't use violence but that is just because violence usually goes hand-in-hand with negative emotion, but it doesn't have to, especially in a dream. I say confront these problems with extreme violence, but just make sure you have no negative emotions. More like adventure violence. Like "HAZAHHHH GET DEAD ZOMBIE". But make sure you aren't angry or freaked out, but actually happy and vigorous. I don't know if this will actually help, but it seems like you could turn these nightmares into a positive experience.

I know that some members fight in dreams, but I believe this person will have a hard time fighting without negative emotion, as they are already scared. Also, fighting without becoming angry or overly attached to the situation is difficult, as objectivity and violence regularly go hand-in-hand.

Concerning the OP's solution (to spin a new dream scene), the "scary thing" or feeling can always follow you; you aren't actually changing locations, and you're not really running from anything. Best to make peace with your mind's projections as opposed to running away from them. They are you, after all.

Ya, you are probably right ThreeCat. But I still think that if one could do that it would be the best solution. Not only would it solve the problem, it would be a sick dream. But you have a lot more experience and I have not very much so I agree with you. Also nice Chogyam Trungpa quote that guy is awesome.
