This seems like a great technique. I am currently trying to practice my visualization skills so this can be good practice for inducing dreams. Thanks for sharing this!

Don't want to be a jerk, But has this worked for anyone. I just get really pissed when everyone goes off topic.

Where are people going off-topic, as far as I've seen most people are agreeing that it works.

Reza21, I had the rare opportunity to have a WBTB yesterday and as I generally suck at WILD's I followed your instructions carefully.

I chose a five minute trip from my house that would engage all five physical senses.

About half way through imagining my trip I started having sudden, weird unconnected thoughts heralding the onset of sudden sleep.

Indeed the next thing I knew I was dreaming about reaching the destination of my imagined trip.

I was able to achieve lucidity very easily.

Even though I had a DILD I started to ponder a little. Maybe because I specifically engaged all of my 5 physical senses combined with a deliberate imagination before sleep it culminated in me having a Reza21 induced CosmicIron SSILD.

      Thats a R21ICISSILD lucid dream

Please click on the links below, more techniques under investigation to come soon...

Gonna try this tomorrow morning. I like visualization techniques. Do you know if I could write in my DJ first? I normally wake up like 3 or 4 times through the night to write tags for dreams.

      LD GOAL LIST

      1) Re-live the D-day landings like in the opening scene in 'Saving Private Ryan'. Arrive by landing boat, storm the beach, kill me some Nazis.
      2) A prolonged flying experience through beautiful landscape/scenery
      3) Have a 'nice' time with Chery Cole and Nicole Schwerzinger

are you good at visualization ??

this post gave me many ideas, thank you
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

This sounds like a good idea but whenever I try to visualise things, I always get lost in my thoughts so I would end up going into the dream non lucid, any tips?

it's a great technique, i discovered it time ago, but when i tried it intencionally i felt breathless (this is not a metaphor), and i never used it again...but in the end i'm an idiot to never had tried it again, so i will use it tommorow morning

Notice you can imagine everything you like, you haven't necessarily to imagine your morning routine. For example i simply imagined me in a room, and after an undefined time i "really" was there! Maybe i went out of breath because i nor thought it would have worked! Really a great way to induce LD.

I only read this post yesterday and tried it out this morning. Here's what happened:

I imagined I was walking to work. As I was walking there were people around me but I remember thinking that I didn’t consciously imagine them. It was surprising to me that I could look at them as if seeing them for the first time even though my mind must have put them there. I don’t think I was dreaming yet, just visualising, I was still intensely aware of my bed, my body, the fact that I was lying down and trying to lucid dream, etc. After about 15 minutes I felt my body kind of tingling and experienced a disorienting swaying like I was being jerked around although I could still feel that my body was lying on the bed. My legs were moving around on their own too, one had dropped down (felt like it was through the bed) while the other was lifted way up in the air. I could see the other end of the bed even though I didn’t open my eyes. I didn’t know what to do from here, I tried to relax into and go with it but the sensations just ended.

This must be quite common. I imagine it's the hypnagogic phase. What do you do from here to get lucid?

Btw, nothing in the lucid dept had happened to me for a couple of weeks, so quite exciting to finally see some results. Great technique!!!

      2) Now I just visualise a routine I do every day, which is arriving at working and walking to my studio. I try and visualise all the things I see, hear, smell, touch - because its a routine i do every day i find it easy to get a vivid visualisation.

      3) During this routine I walk through a few doors - and the transition from visualisation to my lucid dream always takes place when I walk through a door into the next room.

-Don't have to go through sleep paralysis

like I said, since i tried this method I have had 2 LD's every night
I like it. Your visualization is a powerful anchor and I actually do something very similar myself.
