It's not the technique

Nobody practices LDing for 2 years and only gets 3. Have you actually been trying for 2 years or is it on and off?

Confidence. I'm not kidding, go to bed tonight and think "wow I'm gonna lucid dream tonight it's so easy" and stuff like that. Works most of the time. But you really have to get it in to your head.
