      It's certainly an interesting theory.
I'm not sure how I feel about talking about a specific planet or group of planets though.
In my experience the dream plane is of such a vast complexity and size that it is not humanly possible to comprehend.

Are there any good online resources that get you started?

Yuya said when I met my Dream Guide "Faye":
"I ain't your Dream Guide. I'm a spirit, I am your friend, and even though I will help you and I will guide you, I am not what you call a Dream Guide.
      She
(Faye) on the other hand is. You needed a Dream Guide so you have found one.
She can help you with some things I cannot."

      And Faye said:
"Yes, I am your Dream Guide. You've been searching for me, so you found me."

So according to them, I met Faye because I needed to find her.
Why that is I do not know. Maybe because I had goals I was not able to achieve on my own?

Yuya on the other hand, I "remembered" her, and only actively tried to find her afterwards.
I'm pretty sure Yuya actually mentioned you recently, but I could recall only very little of that dream.
I vaguely remember something about you searching for something... it didn't make sense at the time.
I feel like it makes sense now though. o_O

You would attack someone you feel has been a dear friend all your life and you are finally able to meet again? Someone who may hold answers to many of your questions? o_O
Well, I can partially understand what you're saying.
I wanted to fight Yuya after meeting her as well, but in a friendly way.

I have no idea what would happen in an all out fight between Yuya and me, but I do know that if I would make even the slightest mistake she would obliterate me.

      Yuya seems very strong.
However Faye, my Dream Guide and Liv, a Succubus that appears in my dreams occasionally, both seem to be much weaker than I am.
I haven't interacted with Faye very much yet, but I feel like I could take her on quite easily.

It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

I asked that very question a bit ago.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/where-...tation-112165/

I think I've only successfully meditated once. I haven't been very focused on it since, but I'm going to try to learn it some more.

I still don't quite comprehend what meditation is and how to meditate. As in, I've done it that one time but still don't understand how it helps or how it is this "miracle cure" alot of people make it out to be.

I'm still doing more research on it.

Selene is very powerful, and we have never fought tooth-and-nail. I never have done that with any of my friends. A succubus appeared in my dreams recently too, named Lila. Oh, and you and Yuya.

Meditating is much more broad, yet more simple than what you apparently perceive. Mediation is awareness and being deliberate in your actions. Anything can be meditation. Walking the dog, doing dishes, driving...

Anyway, for starters, simply breathe. Focus on your breath. Take deep breaths, and sit up straight. Close your eyes. Relax. That's it.

Meditation doesn't necessarily mean you go out of body, have vision, feel an inexplicable calm, or vaporize straight to Nirvana. Just focus on the physical.

You can meditate while lying down. I suggest savassana, (yoga corpse pose) which is flat on your back, eyes closed, feet shoulder width apart, palms facing upward. Let your tongue fall away from the roof of your mouth and relax your body slowly, from your toes up.

You can meditate with your eyes open on an object or a flame. You can visualize something in your mind. Meditation is great for dream incubation. Realize it's a simple thing. For every day moment by moment meditation, focus on being deliberate in your actions. Whatever you do, do it in purpose, and take responsibility for your all your actions. Know what you are doing, and decide to do it.

Meditation is.... I think it is, having a still mind, being connected to your soul. We listen to our inner dialogue out of habit. Meditation is a way to break that habit and just be present in the moment. when we are thinking we are not present. Sitting down and meditating can make you extremely peaceful. It helps us stabilize. Out of habit you can have a still mind and just be present in the moment. Just to feel, feel whats going on inside.

I agree. To get to a point where the inner chatterbox shuts off, when there is nothing but soul silence is awesome. I am a high energy person, so it helps me to chant rather than sit in perfect silence, unless I have just done yoga for two hours.

Being deliberate! That makes much more sense to me.

... I had to pause due to euphoria of finally understanding.

Anyways, that makes much more sense to me. I think that boils down a bunch of the metaphysical spew I've seen sprawling across the internet. And I can see how it directly relates to lucid dreaming.

I think this is what I've been looking for. I'm going to try it now knowing what it boils down to.

Wow, no kidding! That's pretty cool.
And all of what you said makes sense, I suppose I shall find my guide when I need to find him/her. I think sometimes I try too hard to achieve some things, and that inhibits me a lot more than helps.

I have found this pattern in myself (and is actually a directive when doing sigil magic): when I forget goals, I sometimes do them anyway. For awhile I was doing all the Tasks of the Month just because I read them. Some of them I didn't want to do, but I would do them (in non-lucid dreams) anyway. One example was turning into a pumpkin, then carving a face out of your head. That was insane...

I suggest writing down your dream goals, and then burning the list.

Thanx for that post. Now it seems i was meditating for the most of my conscious life. I usually do that in the lying position described above. Especially useful meditation in this line of thoughts are the things which we dont really like to do or some heavy work. Then i make my peace with it and decide to do it like an exercise and do it the best i can. This way i learned lots of things about life.

On the dream guide topic theres smth bothering my mind. If the dream is only our mind then the DGs should be nothing more than ourselves, right? Or not? On the other hand i think we actually communicate to other beings out there. Still the question is valid. I think i do not have a DG i mean like a separate person but while dreaming i have a voice which is 'speaking' to me about some dreams.

I lost it again. I don't feel I comprehend meditation anymore. GAH. This is so frustrating.

Yea. I believe dreams are split up in at least 2 sections, some that take place only in our minds, and some that actually happen on some level.

So, I know that entities such as Yuya and Selene are spiritual in nature, but what are dream guides? Are they projections of our subconscious, helping us to discover what we can do in our dreams? Or are they spiritual entities as well?
      As we felt eternity,

We are all spiritual entities visiting the physical plane. A dream guide could be another entity or it could be a projection of your subconcious.
Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake

When I first met my DG, I assumed he was part of my subconscious until he started saying things I would never think of on my own! The funny thing is, in the beginning, I kept asking these entities if they were me, and they all said, "I am you." Now I realize they were speaking of the interconnectedness of all things.

Some entities have also been insulted when I asked them if they were part of my mind. "No! I am a sentient entity!"

Here is something my DG said in a dream which blew my mind:

You are in reality. All is real. Everything you see is real. Nothing is everything, and everything is nothing. Existence is infinite. You are infinitely less and infinitely more than a speck in the sea of existence. We are connected to everything because of existence. Separation of self is an idea for survival, but we are incessantly united. Everything is the same. Nothing is real. The Void is a real place, which doesn't exist, never has existed, and never will. The Void is within and without you. Foolishness is wisdom, and wisdom is for fools. The merry at heart are righteous, the sad are blameless, the angry ones pity, and the evil ones destroy themselves out of necessity.

      None of this is true,
      but you understand the meaning.
      Deep goes the tunnel
      for the one truly dreaming.
      Close your eyes now,
and you can see what you are seeing.
      Open your heart,
      because that's what does believing.
      Your mind is a tool,
      but it's deception is convincing.
      Create the world you want,
      then be open to receiving.
      Nothing is coming,
      and everything is leaving.
      Inhale nothing to
      know that you are dreaming.
      Inhale nothing to know
      that you are dreaming.

Yes, that truth has become very clear to me over the past year or so, that we are all spiritual in nature, and this world is not our home. It's a truth that I am glad to have discovered.

Wow, that's pretty amazing! I think I remember reading that in your DJ or in a post somewhere before.

That's quite a wall of text. But it doesn't really seem to mean anything that I can gather.

It sounds nifty, but I don't see anything in it.

We are all connected to infinity. Viewing the perspective of infinity this physical reality all seems to be an illusion. From our perspective infinity seems to be an illusion.

All of it. Some of it is contradictory. The rest doesn't make any sense.

That makes some sense. Of course, I've only been in the perspective of physical reality.

      Beautiful!
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

Thanx for that post. It is beautiful. sounds a bit similar to tao te ching in its seemingly 'weirdness' but when you read it and try not to understand but feel it makes perfect sense.

One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
