I guess the theory is that if we all agree to meet at the same place and visit it in our dreams we might establish a connection to each other that way. I do think it is harder to have a connection since we don't really know each other. I think that is one reason why we are doing oneironautics' idea of choosing a symbol/sign of some sort (for example an animal, plant, drawn symbol, pretty much anything). This way if our chosen sign pops up in someone's dream we can verify some sort of connection, or, even better, if we meet each other in the dream we will talk about our symbol and then that person can check back on this forum to make sure it was a legitimate shared dream.

Yes, that's the idea. If we don't tell each other beforehand then it will be less likely to just pop up of our own imagination. Just try to be really aware during the dream. For instance if my symbol was an apple tree and you saw an apple tree in the palace then I would tell you after reading your dream journal.

Okay, thanks, sounds cool. Come to think of it, I don't think I rarely ever have dreams in which I am holding an object, and its never been technology. But, if I go lucid, I will try to summon one.

Though it's not the weekends I ended up visiting the palace again. I'm not sure if I noticed anything I'm supposed to notice.

I haven't been by the site in a while... But I'm glad to see that you guys are going strong in this thread, though there seems to be some drama... It's a good sign. The Gods wouldn't let you make an epic without a healthy dose of dramatic content from the get go. hahaa.. I can already see it.

You guys become a league shared dreamers that watch anime by day and expose crime by night. The Dream Guards. Meanwhile Shifter does his experiment, it's so awesome that a powerful beam of psychic energy shoots out of his body, lighting up the night as it shoots into space. The beam makes the news. But it also it alerts evil, dream manipulating, purple aliens of earths location.... And also... something went wrong with the experiment, Shifter's consciousness is split into two personalities, a good and a bad one, that fight for control over his body. ... He becomes... THE SHIFTER! (It's like Venom but cooler and with dreams)

Shifters evil side betrays the Guards and he is kicked out... A cross dimentional rivalry appears between Shifter and the Dream Guards, but when the planet is threatened by the aliens, who are here to enslave humanity by taking control of the human psyche, they must work together. Shifter goes on a journey to some place with scenic mountains to find a shaman that can help him defeat the Evil inside. He returns a new man, but The Dream Guards don't believe him and tell him to leave. During one of their missions, they run into a young child with a sad backstory, yet undescribably bright outlook. The child drops some wise quote on trust and forgiveness that no kid that age would ever come up with, so you know he's just repeating what he heard somebody else say.... It doesn't matter... The kid teaches the Dream Guards to trust and forgive. The rivalry is squashed and so are the Aliens! ALL HAIL HUMANITY!! (if this happens, I expect to be compensated for my prophetic services by being cast as the narrator voice in the netflix series adaptation, I'll be drinking whisky in preparation... gotta get that nice and raspy old man voice)

Anything looking like success yet? I wish I could be a part of this, but it's not right for me this time around. I need to focus on other aspects of my dreams and life for now, and also, I suspect my schemas against shared dreams across time zones would make it too difficult.

I have not had shared dreams so far. I wasn't lucky enough like you to have a soulmate with whom to share. But I had the next best thing BodySharing, of course it didn't end well for the host. Ignoring your lacking of sensitivity considering you know my SO passed away. Thanks for finally answering whether you have experienced a shared dream or not.

I have to ask... I'm somewhat familiar with the concept of bodysharing but didn't know the host will die. I would only allow someone I am very close to like my SO to share my body. In fact, if afterlife exists and our consciousness exists independent of physical body without a doubt It's one of my goals to let my SO share my body from time to time so she can experience physical life. Anyway, If you are able to successfully body share with someone I can see why you would have a god complex. You also mentioned you don't have a soulmate. Forgive me for wondering, was it even consensual? Are you essentially confessing you killed someone by sharing their body against their will? I'm also curious how bodysharing relates to shared dreams. @.@

I didn't give him much of a choice, did I. And of result of this, his soul was eaten. I still feel his last moments of despair! Now he is in depths of Hell for all eternity.

So, I tried incubating the Gyeongbok Palace, but I don't' remember if it worked. This is because I am having an alarm wake me up 2.5 and 4.5 hours after I go to bed, then automatically turn off, which gives me tons of great practice on DEILDs, FILDs and WILDs. However, it also has seriously affected my dream recall, but I am working on getting it back up. Nonetheless, I feel like I went there, though I can't say I remember anything about going there at all, just a gut feeling.

I stopped using alarms on my phone as it was affecting with my recall. Nowadays, I use mental alarm. Let your body's clock do it's thing. You can look into it if you want. Anyway, sometimes incubating doesn't work right away, but that's alright. It took me couple of days on incubating the palace before it started to set in. Sometimes I end up in a location with oriental structures, but it's not the palace.

Okay, yeah I was planning on doing it for a week or so, and then not do it and hopefully my body will be conditioned enough that I will wake up at the right time without it. When you incubate things, how detailed do you do it? Do you focus on details a lot, or just the general place?

: ) We haven't had a shared dream but were showing progress by familiarizing ourselves with the palace and each other. We have also had enough time to focus on our symbols but we need to arrive at the palace more. It would be nice to have other members participate but if your busy its okay. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Cool Do you time it with WBTB or what? Also, have you read about the DV'ers who apparently had success meeting up on the moon?

I think that the moon would be an awesome spot. I feel it would be pretty easy for me to visit there, though I also feel that it is so big, we might never see each other, though if we did see someone, then it would likely be on of us, as there is no one else going to be there.

It's big, but you could just meet on the North Pole. First one to arrive sets up some sort of easily spotted landmark projecting their secret symbol. Edit: another plus is that since it's desolate there aren't distractions and you can focus on the task. But the temple opening is a pretty cool spot as well.

I mostly DILD but at times I do WBTB. We've done our best when it comes to time but we aren't worried about it. If syncs can happen at different times of being asleep, we can focus on the connecting part more. I binged read waking nomad's and the other's entries in the past. It was a good read. Hehe x3
