Thread: Shared Lucid Dreaming Tutorial

Hi there, Nomad. I think I asked you this around the time I first joined Dreamviews, but I don't really remember and I doubt you remember me either. Could you try to find me in a dream, or give me permission to try and find you in order to share dreams? I have been having trouble with my recall lately but I wanted to make sure it's ok to search for you if I have a lucid dream again soon. You still meet on the moon, right?

It looks like you started something which is now bigger than you!! ha ha, is there nobody else who is as adept at sharing dreams as you who can help share the responsibility of helping others?? Because at the moment you have allot of believers but those of us who are starting to make contact are beginning to doubt a little because there is nobody there (who remembers) to verify it!

I can't find you in a dream right now, because I am a finite being. My plate is full. My dream energy is maxed out. But, all have permission to find me, but I am not always nice. I may cause you terror and delight if you find me.

We usually meet on the Moon. Sometimes other places, too. But, the Biodome and Tower remains on the Moon whether we are there or not. In fact, there is now a city in the Biodome.

You don't need me. Just share dreams with each other.

I find it odd that someone would say "Shared Dreaming is possible, but being asleep at different times and sharing a dream is not."

So... you're sharing a dream... which goes completely against all "accepted" psychology and science... and you say that's possible, but not in different time zones? Sounds like someone has a very selective open mind.

I took a couple months off of losing sleep to dreaming to help restore my sanity, but now that I'm back into the swing of dreaming I'll hopefully have a portal out to the moon.

I honestly can't find their post anymore. I specifically remember them, was going to edit my post with a quote, but I can't find it anymore. I do know that when I typed it they said that shared dreaming is possible, but the don't at all believe that time being "different" in the dream realm is not possible.

I was just confused as to how that person could accept something they had not experienced, and then throw out something that is very closely related... a bit humorous, hence the "selectively-open-mindedness."

For those of you that say you can share dreams, who is willing to come into my dreams and kick the living **** out of me? If you are willing, what would you need me to do to facilitate it?

By that, nomad means you already did what was needed to facilitate it, not being kicked <.<

Ahhh, I see Walms, TheCusps philosophy of inviting people into your dreams being enough to give them access? I read through the whole DW/NS thread, it was an interesting read. I haven't been that active at LDing lately, Waking Nomad. It will take me maybe a week to get my recall up to a high level. After that, I can remember too many dreams to even reasonably write down. So if at that point you do share a dream with me, I should remember it.

If you would be kind enough to oblige me and enter my dreams, let me know and I will send you a pm with my sleep schedule (recently read that you don't believe this matters,) and some identifying characteristics of me/my dreamscape. If you want, that is. If you are too busy, Waking Nomad, is there anyone else who claims to be able to do it who wants to give it a go?

Oh and if you can't share with me at the moment, mind if I look for you or your moon? Again, I am not admitting to believing in it. But at the most, I am wrong and there is another level of reality. And at the least, I am given an excuse to get back into LDing full force and have a fun topic to dream about. I can't lose.

I can't focus on any new individuals. I encourage you to find a shared dreaming partner that you focus on nightly.

But, please come to the Moon if you can. It's pretty hard, though.

You say it is easier to have a shared dream partner of the opposite sex? Does it really make that big of a difference? Anyway, if anyone else wants to try let me know. I will try for a while, but I should warn you I don't think it will work. However, I am able to suspend my disbelief and believe in it when I want to, (which I will do during my dreams and my pre-sleep meditation.) Let me know here or via PM. I would like to start ASAP.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you. But it is evidenced by the people trying and not getting there. It's actually part of the Lucid Tasks of the Year.

I know - cause I've tried - and failed, and found it easier getting you to come to me (although you don't remember it) but I'd really like to know - why do you think it is so difficult to get there? are there forces around it trying to stop people?

Always thought it was because people don't have a clear image of space and height of the moon, so they wake up before getting past earths atmosphere? Not like its that hard to summon a spaceship instead of fly/teleport there though.

I agree with this statement. Perhaps you, Nomad, could PM one or both of us? I haven't had many lucids to try this, but so far I've had no luck. "You wouldn't believe if I told you" seems rather odd as Shared Dreaming isn't normally accepted either, but we're here accepting that as a possibility.

I don't really want to go off-topic, but basically there are things between here and the moon that get in the way.

Well as this thread is about shared dream, and we're currently talking about possible entities that can be encountered while attempting to share a dream - I feel it is very much on topic. It sounds like any body attempting to reach the moon should know about any possible obstacles which they may face along the way.And as many people are finding it difficult to reach the moon expanding upon this subject will surely help people with this endeavor, if people are unaware of the problems and obstacles that lay in front of them (and how to deal with them) they will be much less likely to achieve this goal.

I actually made it to the moon last night. I got a DILD, wondered for a while what to do and decided to try to get to moon. I was wise enough to not to try flying there, so I teleported. I appeared in a dome. I was up in the ceiling on a platform. I looked down and there was only the brown, dusty floor. I woke up before I could explore the place properly, so I didn't meet anyone (or anything).

I started a new thread on that topic.
