Maybe what independence you wanted to blossom was ripped apart and died before it could grow. The tiny horse could mean this power needs more strength or momentum, it wasn't ripped up.
So arranging the kittens like flowers wouldn't work, ha. Maybe planting them again would, with lots of fertilizer.
Or taking earth from another flowerbed which could refer to others, maybe needing more balance, while I think cats would probably usually mean oneself, or your way, though yours are social so could fit that.
Maybe your way couldn't work, and the intended arrangement had to include the other. So maybe the cats and solo horsey could not rightly live in this instance. Hence explaining the deja vu if a repeating incidence or lesson.

Oh, okay. I know it would be a different story if it was happening butI thought it may have been somwhat unsettling still. ^w^ Its good it didn't affect you though.

Well you are right that it is not a happy dream, but I did not feel all that emotional about it. And the fact that it is not really about me but just a character in the dream whose perspective I happened to have made it less personal. The main character in my dream did not feel sad but completely pragmatic about it. I of course in real life would not be pragmatic about something like that, but I was not disturbed by the dream. it was more of a story than an experience for me.

No I don't recall that I have, unless you count the dead sparrow the neighbor kids and I buried in a cigar box when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago, and I think we were young enough that it was just a game with not a lot of feelings. I do have two cats now though so the bodies of kittens made me very sad.

Have you ever had to bury something like that before? Reminds me of the time my brother buried his dead parakeet in a box but when we curiuosly dug it out months later it wasn't there and the box was broken. ^^"

Indeed. And I have had many dreams including even Lucinda that luckily I have remembered and written down right away. Though my dream recall has been non-existent lately, so will have to work on that.

I've had experiences with Lucid Dreams that i forget most of the content from that dream . It's always good to write down your dream the second that you wake up from it cause chances are, you'll eventually forget it.

Thanks! I think to be honest it's because I had a sore throat and some body aches, and my mind may have been translating bodily discomfort into mental stress.

oh well, my ethical sense of awareness was zero then, so I won't feel guilty, and at least I knew they were not real.
For me, I also find that video games can bleed over pretty easily into dreams. If my schema is "take out these NPCs because it's a video game," I have a hard time feeling bad for it.

Ha, perhaps I would have realized that it was still a dream if it had been strange activity, but insisting on reading a children's book to me is perfectly in character for my husband :-) - though my waking hubby would accept that I have to record the dream.

Edit: Btw in waking life I am a proponent of trying to be ethical even toward dream characters, but in lucid dream I just acted on impulse and shot them with bow and arrow - oh well, my ethical sense of awareness was zero then, so I won't feel guilty, and at least I knew they were not real.

      Wow, so cool! Congratulations Joanna!!
Those weird false awakenings happen to me all the time as well. Dream character dreamer always insists upon stange activities right upon walking.

while this dream exaggerated the situation, unfortunately it was not just a dream: my car was broken, and when I picked it up from garage I got warning signals on the dashboard on my way home, so I had to take my car back again, and only then did they actually fix it.
