Did you draw that awesome picture? Epic dream, I have been playing Skyrim myself, had a dream about dragons a few nights back, but my recall failed. Well anyways, I love reading about your dreams.
Thanks, shinigami! The chase against the huge fire-breathing dino was amazing. Lol. It kept lunging at me and running me down and breathing fire at me, so I couldn't really gather my wits enough to try any offensive attacks. I wish I would have stayed in the dream longer (or remembered more), though, because I definitely would have tried something. One of my favorite 'big monster' lucid dream moments was a long time ago, when I saved a friend of mine from King Kong, on the top of a sky-scraper, and give him a Dragonball Z-style kamehame beam to the eye! Lol. It was priceless. And flying was really awkward in this dream, at first. That feeling of falling straight down and then trying to right myself was crazy - like being in a diving rollercoaster that seemed like it was going to slam into the ground, just before pulling up just slightly and leveling off. So intense. Then I turn around to see where the beast is and 'SURPRISE!', it's jumping at me with its jaws wide open. I love insane action dreams like that. Thanks for reading!
Truly epic my friend! I could never hope to have dreams that epic, let alone control such dreams! Though I've never tried it, I might have attempted to summon objects so as to finish the beast off. I also think I'm too wired to realism to be able to fly without waking myself hahaha.
Hahaha. Thanks! Yeah, he had it coming to him.
So, in the middle of his tirade, without giving a single bit of warning, a swung my right palm up and into the side of his head, smacking it to one side and directly into the stone wall that was to my left (his right)...The man was only out for about five seconds and, seeing him groggily regain consciousness, I reached down and gently picked him up to his feet, brushing him off and saying "hey, man, are you ok? Wow. You just kinda blacked out there." He obviously had absolutely no idea what the hell had just happened. He looked at me with a bit of dazed gratitude, and staggered out the door. So you knocked the wannabe thug out....nice! I like that. Good job. Well handled.
Yeah, that's how I feel. I always hate when there is a lot of a dream I can't remember, but if I can remember enough to at least retain some of the experience, it's usually enough for me.
That's awesome! Its too bad though that lots of details were lost. But oh well.
Lol. Yeah. It definitely makes trying to journal things accurately Hell. Heh. Experiences like those are really interesting, though (if not creepy). I don't mind having them, as long as the imagery isn't too intense or frightening.
Even looking back on it, when I first awoke, I couldn't really determine when I actually stopped dreaming.) Heh, that's annoying isn't it. Sometimes WILDs can be like that, until you actually wake up from it and are like 'wait a minute, I had to be dreaming, I don't REALLY fly ...' or 'are there zombies in this waking reality? No? Ok then that must have been a dream.' When the lines between reality and fantasy blur ... it makes things pretty confusing until you figure out how to sort each place out But that's pretty cool about the your dog and daughter. Wonder what you were seeing. Hopefully this'll happen more often
Thanks, Kara!!
Wow.. your dreams are like mini movies. Your recall is incredible! Good stuff!
Muchas gracias, chica. My entries can get a little long-winded at times, but I try to put in all the details that I can remember.
Your dream journal reads like a novel. Me gusta.
Actually, I didn't remember it all while writing it. Whenever I get up, I type out just a stream of fragmented notes. Everything I can remember in the shortest words and phrases I can use. That helps me remember more of the dream. Then, whenever I get ready, I just type all the notes out, into full thoughts. Having the notes helps me retain more detail, whenever I'm finally ready to start writing the full entry.
thats a big story u writted , means while writing that u rememberd ur dream that was a trippy dream i guess
Makes sense to me.
Awesome! I like your persistence. Even though you didn't find the Academy, you came across a lot of cool shit. I would think that the castle appears differently depending on where you are. Maybe in the area you were exploring, the castle only appears at night (especially since you felt that it wouldn't appear during the day). The academy can show up anywhere in the dream world, but there may be certain requirements/restrictions in some areas (like the day/night thing, etc). At least, that is what I would like to imagine .
Thanks, Salty!
awe dude thats kool
Aw, damn. I know I dreamt something epic, early this morning, but I can't remember what it was at all. Looks like a bad day for recall, all around. lol.
