      A valid concern, that used to be my main reason for not experimenting. What holds me back now is the intensity of it all.

      I've read about psychedelics, and I'm familiar with the idea of this "waiting room" but I've never experienced it myself. In truth, I'm concerned that something like that could damage my brain, and I only have one of those so...I opt out of that type of thing. But I still find it super interesting. I hope that within my lifetime we learn more about aliens and/or other beings...not exactly holding my breath on that one though.

      Have you explored much with psychedelics before? Most psychedelics will give people various trips, but DMT regularly provides trips to most people that involve highly advanced spiritual entities. I haven't gone deep enough to truly 'blast off' with it, only got to the waiting room a few times as it's so intense and freaks me out.

      Someday I'm probably going to go deeper. I believe the experiences are happening in the mind but most people that have gone all the way are convinced through and through that they are in contact with something other. Who knows, if I ever go that far maybe I'll be convinced as well. It's an interesting psychedelic as it only lasts a few minutes and it's just like a lucid dream in vividness, and your perception remains intact and lucid the whole trip.

      It definitely stuck with me. Plus, with previous dreams having aliens that "can alter human perception to remain hidden", well that gives me pause!

      The alien near me says in a deep feminine voice "When you became lucid in your world, you came to our world."
      That gave me some strong DMT vibes.

      She stayed with me, but the coworker disappeared. Also, the four wheeler was definitely a car again by the time we got to the spiral roads

      It just makes sense, Dave & Buster's factory would have to have multiple OSHA violations

      That's a seriously epic image of your dream! One moment you're facing monsters in a warehouse and the next, monsters at the end of your bed.

      I don't think so no. But that would be awesome. I've been saying for years that VR-WoW is the next advancement for MMORPGS, where you can cast spells based on motion controls and move in real time to dodge/stab stuff. Maybe someday we will see it.
      VR-WoW would be so cool. The closest I've seen to this is 'Zenith: The Last City' but it doesn't have anywhere near the depth of WoW.

      I'm playing in a bit of a nostalgic way, not really trying to get good gear or anything, just visiting old places.
      I fired up an old vanilla private WoW server just the other day and did this for a few hours. Have you ever been lucid in a WoW-like dream?

      It was a weird one!

      Would've liked to be lucid there and see what the heck was going on!

      My brother is here now. I'm showing him "the places where parts of me died".
      Sounds like a concept for some inspirational movie, haha.

      This "1.5h cycle" is very theoretical, but it is good enough for searching REM cycle. I'm using that methodology:
      -If you will wake up with fresh dream that mean you woke up right after REM;
      -If remembered dream is old you can say you woke up before REM;
      -If you woke up by yourself that mean you have shallow dream and probably you are close to REM;
      -If you woke up and you are very tired and dazed that mean you have deep sleep.

      Thanks for nice words!

      Hey I just saw this, sorry!

      It's cool that you were able to pinpoint your REM sleep! I think the generally accepted values for good REM are 4.5hrs and 6hrs into sleep. These are probably based on 1.5hr sleep cycles. For example, 4.5hrs is 3 cycles (1.5 x 3) and 6hrs is 4 cycles (1.5 x 4).
      So your data seems to line up with that. I've had success with WBTBs after 6 hours pretty consistently, but I do want to test other timings as well. Maybe your optimal timing is within that 4:45 to 7:15 window. Nice!
