The Invader Zim Diet, Interwoven Tapestry, Tequila Ketchup, The Mystery Continues

    #1 - The Invader Zim Diet [Non-Lucid]

I was walking around some strange mall, and the order of this dream is hard to remember, but know at least how it ended. But first, I remember walking around a clothes store thinking about Robin from How I Met Your Mother and noticing all these super skinny clothes and hearing people talking about some 'air diet', and I started to feel desperate to get thinner. I went down to the 'diet floor' and walked past D, who was looking into the diet because he didn't want to have to breath as much while sleeping so he'd snore less. Before looking into what exactly that meant, I went downstairs one further past the 'feminine diets' to the 'fat guy room' for a minute, and immediately decided that this was NOT the diet for me. The floor was also really slippery and I was sliding around like crazy. I went back upstairs and checked out the feminine diets. There were two of them. The first one involved eating nothing but air, and the second involved becoming a Invader Zim-style demon character and having to have this inflatable rectangular prism represent your breath and hold on to it at all times. For the rest of the dream I flip-flopped between the two. The latter was very anxiogenic and uncomfortable. There was also some Invader Zim plot going on in the background that was pretty intense, but in the end stopped because Dib was about to defeat Zim somehow but Zim called upon some 'Fish Law' that states that their battle was a stalemate because in this brown paper bag he was holding two of his crab rangoon (which looked right but where shaped like ravioli) were touching each other, one on top of the other. Somewhere unseen to me, O starts complaining that that could've been done at any time. After that I woke up.

Dream Fragment - Something about picking up some cocaine with O.

    #2 - Interwoven Tapestry [Non-Lucid]

I'm thinking this one was a non-REM dream. Or something....

In my notes, my first line to describe this dream was "interwoven tapestry of anger and libido". There were repeating, morphing images of a woman (me? it's hard to remember, it had a very dissociated feel to it) that were constantly moving around and switching back and forth between representing strong feelings of lust, fantasizing about stuff, and strong feelings of rage, thinking about murder and the like. I remember there being some third-person narration going on about how you can't feel attraction without anger. And that was it.

    #3 - Tequila Ketchup [Non-Lucid]

O, J, and I are driving somewhere with some random DC. We're driving to some hotel room we've rented out, and on the way the DC is talking about some ketchup recipe his family is famous for, they even have their own company for it. The ketchup tastes like refried beans and is made with tequila. I ask him if he's ever tried it with mezcal and he said no because he hasn't tried mezcal since the first time he drank it. So we get to the room, and it has a pool but no beds or anything, just sleeping bags. We get to the room and the help turns off the light and tells us "Goodnight!" and then leaves. O and the DC go to jump in the pool, and J and I spend the rest of the dream trying to figure out which of the many, many switches turns them back on, though unsuccessfully. :T

    #4 - The Mystery Continues [Non-Lucid]

The jungle returns!!! And it's just as crazy as ever....

A guy abandons his infant son to grow up in the jungle after he accidentally causes the death of a kid in a small family in a dust cloud while trying to save them all from some prophecy that their precognitive mother had made. The family is part of a tribe of people who are used to living out in the wilderness of the jungle, and the guy is actually the king of some foreign land. After his son has grown up with the family of kids (the mother is dead apparently but the kids are still well-known in the jungle), maybe after like ten years or so, he comes out to tell him about who he really is, the prince of his kingdom. But before that I was one of the kids (I think...) and we were running from a leopard or lion or something (I want to say leopard is correct) and we had some really creamy carrot cake and were using it as bait. They were trying to tell the kid that you're supposed to just put it out there for them to get, but I tell them you're supposed to lick some of the cream off yourself and THEN put it out there, and told them to "live a little". Anyway, so then the father shows up. He also brings them some delicious looking birthday cake with the same cream on it. So he tells his son the truth, and all the kids (I'm now in third-person) are happy for him, but then he also tells them about why he had to leave his son with them in the first place, and one of the kids who was one of the oldest says she remembers about their other sibling who died now that he mentions it. They all suddenly grow to resent him, and it stats turning into Lion King-like animation and all the kids and the dad turn into lions. The father clearly suffers with the knowledge of what he's done, but then I woke up before the plot could continue.

Your dreams are like scary children's books.

I love the air-diet btw, I think that's what the super models go on after they feel guilty about eating that ice chip.

      Thank you.

Hahaha, that sounds about right. I'm still confused as to why my friend was wanting to go on that diet with the intention to breath less.

I like the trapesty dream... the introspection is interesting. Er, well the voice in your head that told you those things that is... hrm, somehow that doesn't make it sound better.

Haha, and the coke with O and the air diet... mmm yeah, you seem quite cheery for the assortment of dreams you seem to have, lol.
