    Bookcase Bed

Morning of February 21, 2015. Saturday.

This is a fairly short dream that plays out somewhat like the art and style of Ernie Bushmiller. The main focus and “prop” is a large wooden three-tired empty bookcase in a mostly featureless room in an undefined location. There are three unknown male characters who are rendered somewhat comic-strip-like. It is not like I am disembodied at the scene but watching the scenario through a large portal. It is not rendered all that realistically and the depth is not very defined; it is almost like a “living comic strip”.

One male approaches the bookcase (which is on the right side of my perspective) and I am aware that he is going to sleep in the top shelf (without any bedding apparently, and while fully dressed) as if it were some sort of three-storey bunk-bed. Not much happens after this. The other two are somewhat cheerful but remain standing. For a vague moment, there is an association with some sort of concept of a challenge regarding (unknown) indoctrination.

It is possible that this sequence has something to do with the phrase “bunker down” as associated with “batten down” as they have been repeating this phrase over and over during the recent cyclone warning which has now passed.
