1. The void is nothingness and within the emptiness there is creation. Because when we have nothing, we can begin to fill the void with something. (paraphrased and not very eloquently, but I hope you get the gist.)

The way I see it is that because we know there is nothingness, we still fill it to give it some kind of existence, or purpose, kind of like how we don't know the purpose of life itself, and believing that the purpose of life is defining it in our own way.

2. Light is made up of many colors. And when God created light he created all that is. From that light, the angels were also created. Twin angels Scaphariel and Seraphiel. Both are male. Scaphariel is Golden. Seraphiel is Silver. One represents the male archetype and the other the female. Twin forms of light. Gold holds the space for creations while silver enlivens and activates what is created. Together they are known as the Source Rays.

That reminds me of Anima and Animus.

For me, I've been focusing on blonde females in my dream, and they have been appearing A LOT ever since I came on this forum and started to get into lucid dreaming.

I realized that they appear because I'm not having fun in waking life, I'm often repressing urges to be sporadic and wild, so in a way, these blondes are projections of what I could be having fun with

But on a more serious note, it makes sense females would be golden, seeing as women have more ambiguity than men. Women are just......they are just more open to things, they can do so much with their sexualities, bodies, etc.

Men are limited to what society portrays what should be a man, and this ideal has been engrained way before then, so it would make sense men would be silver. While Silver is just as, or almost as good as gold, it's more dull and bland compared to it, probably to exhibit those same repressed traits of feminine demeanor and sensitivity.

This is why I'm looking for a female named Eva, because she's one of many blondes that I met in my dream. Some people think I'm finding her because I'm going insane being single and not having a girlfriend as yet, but I'm looking for her to see if this projection of what blonde women are is really true, you know what I mean?

I just want to see if I'm seeing these blonde females portray themselves because I still have insecurities with being wild, fun, and ambitious.

Hope you can give me some insight, seeing as you went through a lot before.

Most people on another forum tried to say my form is golden in the void b/c I am fair haired, with a fair complexion. But I don't buy that. I think it has more to do with what is inside us - anyway - that is kind of an aside me thinking about the relationship between my waking form and dream form. And this Eva's form too.

Silver is much more reflective than gold and can also show us what others see in us. Silver is like a mirror. I wouldn't say it's dull at all. It's my favorite metal. I prefer it over gold because it shines and is reflective. It permits us to be reflective. Again the image of a mirror comes to mind.

Women too have certain stereotypes/expectations put upon them and we are to hold to those. The male stereotypes have to do with providing; the female stereotypes have to do with appearance and nurturing. Men can gray and be distinguished (also a silver quality). Women must remain youthful and golden...untarnished if you will. Whereas men can become tarnished with age and it's actually an enhancement, in our society.

So, you see, males have very attractive and desirable qualities, if Silver does represent them. But both are precious metals that together make a pair. One can stand alone, but together they compliment one another.

Why, if I may ask, do you equate being not wild as undesirable or something which you seem to think you must overcome? Did I read that correctly? Not being wild means you are stable - like silver. And one can have plenty of fun without being wild. And there is always a time and place for that too. This point in your life may require your steadfastness and focus. Perhaps if you were wild your goals might falter??

And blonde...is just a hair color. I can make mine red, or brown, or black, and what I am inside is what will make me who I am. As a blonde, I feel, at times, very pale and dull. So, I find your description of blondes interesting. I know where this comes from - blondes have more fun, blond-bombshell - but most of my life, I've envied the dark-haired girls.

But maybe you like this Eva for some other trait that you have yet to discover because you are focusing too much on her appearance - her blondness? Ask yourself what else attracts you to her? Then, those traits are the qualities I would focus on, IMO. But remember, these are just my ramblings. What do you think of all that?

Wow, nice way with words, I never thought about it like that with the aging and all that. I knew about the sustaining youth, but you went deeper than that, thanks for telling me this!

I honestly don't know my true intentions as yet. I'm just going along with taking courses I need to take, and making a random agenda with them, which makes it difficult at times.

Yeah, people have told me that people can easily change hair colors in dreams, but I just get this weird vibe from blonde females compared to other females like brunettes. There's this positive energy I feel from them, which is why I focus on them a lot. I think I'm addicted to this type of energy to exhibit.

But maybe you like this Eva for some other trait that you have yet to discover because you are focusing too much on her appearance - her blondness? Ask yourself what else attracts you to her? She's pretty much one of those few cases where she used her looks without looking like a whore or something lol.

She was the type of person who had to finish her mission, and do a lot of deceiving. But when she met Naked Snake (the guy's codename), she fell in love with him, even though he couldn't love her, because he had to kill "The Boss," who was his mentor that he lived and died with for 10 years....so there's a lot of emotional struggle with him having to kill his mentor without getting emotions over his head.

Eva was kind of like his "golden" mirror, if you will, she made what he had to go through less of being a stoic. He developed emotions for her, and he was a soldier who had no purpose other than to carry out his missions, even if he may be blinded from the truth as to why he must do them.

And The Boss herself, she was another amazing character as well, throughout the game, it seemed she defected from the USA, but it was her mission to defect and carry out her mission. She knew Naked Snake would have to kill her eventually, but she didn't let that stop her, because it was her mission, even if she would die in history as a criminal, when in fact, she was being a true soldier, a true patriot. Self-sacrifice for the greater good, even if it meant being clouded by lies, or manipulated because of politics and the times.

They were merely pawns for government organizations to augment their power, but they still carried out their mission.

It's no wonder Snake has a hard time throughout the game, so that's why Eva, in my opinion, played a crucial role in his development.

Even beyond the mission, Eva loved him enough to be the surrogate mother of his sons later on in the game (since MGS3 was a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2).

LinkZelda, I think you are a romantic! She is a very pretty character. So, you like her strength, compassion, constancy, and loyalty, it sounds like. Admirable traits. Perhaps she is your mirror, reflecting back to you what you admire or strive towards? What is she like in your dreams? I mean, when you are in a dream and she enters, what does she do? How does she act?

Well, I was trying to find Eva a long time ago, probably last year. I stopped doing it because I thought it wouldn't work out. Some friends of mine on DV joked about my ambition to find her, and I thought it was silly myself when I looked back on how crazy I was hoping to make a cuddle/hug buddy with a fictional character... xD

But now I'm back to finding her because I'm just depressed. I mean, I am trying to find some friends here on DV through shared dreaming, and we've had several events where we could've met each other, but would always be distracted by something, but I'm finding Eva as well for being my dream guide/cuddle/hug buddy now.

I think you're right with her being my mirror, I think of her as my Anima. It's from that one moment where she gave me a letter with the letter "M" on it, which led me to try and find her to ask what she meant by it.

I could've just taken the dream as something random, but there wasn't any other DC except her that gave me a letter that made me speculate on why would do so.

Most of the time, I she would appear in my non-lucid dreams, and I would barely recognize her by my side, or I would recognize her, but eventually forget about her.

I had one lucid where saw someone wearing her outfit in the game, the brown jacket that is, and I knew it just had to be her, but I failed in actually getting to her.

Forgive how I wrote things back then, I almost typed with the mentality of a naive child back in older entries. XD

Goldenlight, how did you feel when you woke up or left the void? (sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about what the void is) I think that will ultimately tell you if your assumption about the creation was correct or not. Did you feel more creative? Did you get the urge to write or w or do anything creative? Or perhaps, if silver nourishes what has already been created, did any of your previous works begin to stand out more than the rest to you?

Another thing to ask is, did this happen before or after you started seeing yourself as a golden form in other dreams? There's always the chance that the reason you were gold in this dream is simply because you see yourself as golden. Maybe the void is just that, a void, to give you the chance to focus on your form and the form of the man. So you can reflect on how you see yourself as golden and why. Perhaps the union between you and the silver man was telling you to broaden your horizon and do things you might think silver represents. I'm not sure what those would be to you, but as an example, I see Golden as being like the sun. Nurturing, comforting, and over all Good (because it chases away the darkness), but I would also think of silver being like the moon. The Moon is a silent guide in the night, relaxing, and in some stereotypes it calls out "evil" thing so it should be revered with caution. Perhaps there's something that you would consider Silver that you feel like you need to embrace the qualities of, and "unite" with? I'm going on a whim here and assuming you meant a union of a sexual variety meaning that the union would make something good happen for a bit, but it wouldn't be a permanent change of who you are like if the union was of the becoming one body type deal. I don't know much about dreams, and I know enough to know that the only one who can tell you what feels like the right interpretation is yourself, but that's probably one way I would look at it.

I hope it's ok to comment on the whole hair color thing.... Link, you said you feel a positive energy from blonds, is that in your dreams or also in waking life? If only in your dreams, maybe they have blond hair BECAUSE you feel that vibe from them, not that you feel the vibes from them because they have blond hair. I don't know if that makes any sense at all, but going back to the whole "golden" thing, I generally thing of Gold and "light" colors like blond as being over all good. If you feel a positive or "good" energy from those dream characters, maybe that's why your brain is giving them the "good" hair color instead of one that would dull or contradict that quality like brown or black hair would?

But like I said, I don't know much about interpretation, I'm just trying to give you all another's take on it all

I just get the vibe from dream characters, and yeah, I think the reason why I do only sense this vibe from blondes in dream is because I probably expect my brain to portray them as the epitome of what I strive for.

I'm looking for someone who may or may not exist myself. Dreams are our personal places, to do what we want without having to worry about what others think. If Eva makes you happy, find her dude! forget what everyone else thinks about it, and if you really don't want them to harass you about it, then just omit the parts she appears in your dreams from your dream journal. Personally, if someone were to ever tell me it was silly or crazy to keep searching for K, I'd tell them to stop reading if it bothers them. To me, he is important. He makes me happy, and that's why I want to find him whenever I can rather than wait for my subconscious to indulge me once in a blue moon. Especially if your passing on things in waking life that make you happy so you can get ahead in school, let yourself have fun in your dreams without worrying about others on a web site! I could understand not mentioning it to family who you see everyday, but people on the internet's opinions just don't matter. They can't follow you and haunt you in your every day activities, and if they bother you there's always the block button!

But these aren't bad people, just some friends of mine, I know they didn't mean what they said. They're looking for other people too in their dreams, so it would be silly if they were serious. I apologize that I worded what I said before incorrectly.

Awesome dream interp, Mydera! I was golden before I ever saw him. Becoming golden was one of my first lucid dreams.

Hmm - How do I explain the union without being raunchy? Where is that spoiler button?? ??? I can't find it and so I'll just have to intimate what occurred. Gosh I hope that's okay. I'm not trying to be nasty...Mr. Moderators.

Silver Man would first just observe me. At times he would direct me to lie down or move in a certain way during meditation. In one of or the last time he visited, I was sitting, he was kneeling - using his hands he adjusted me.

He would speak softly as he did things and instruct me what to do - like breathe deeply, or focus here etc. He never hurt me - quite the opposite. But we never had 'sex'. It was sexual, but not entirely. When he would enter my void, he would first hover above me, in the missionary position, without touching me. We would float face-to-face. I don't recall if he said things then or not.

But the last time I saw him, he made his final adjustments that sent me into ecstasy. It was very amazing, but very bizarre. And for a while I wondered if that was normal. If others had that happen to them during meditation. I came to find out, yes, others have had that happen for various reasons.

And so, we never 'merged'. In fact, we remained two separate beings.

I have always been creative ever since I was in Kindergarten. But in years after meditation and the Silver Entity (I can't truly attribute my creative burst to any one thing) I finished my book, painted several paintings that won first prize at our Local Fair, and worked on healing energies. So - I never felt he did anything negative to me. I just don't understand WHAT he was/is.

I have never tried to look for him since.

I started thinking about what Mydera said and also something I said in another journal about my own 'golden' form. You also mentioned it about Eva - that she had a positive vibe. When I am 'golden', my attitude is much more positive and sunnier. So, I'm wondering if Eva, isn't the disposition you're searching for? In other words, perhaps she embodies this upbeat, sunny, carefree disposition that you seem to be struggling with as of late. (or maybe longer?) So, in your dreams, she is the manifestation of this desire - to be 'golden'.

I also would be on the look out for real life people who seem to give off this vibe. They do exist. And I also noted that Eva is very assertive. Is this something you are not in waking life? Perhaps like my Silver Man, she is your 'twin', the female to your male, yin to yang, anime to animus??

This feels a bit deja vu 'ish so if I have just repeated what's been said...ignore me.
