I started off in a large forest. I was a small squad of American soldiers. We were in World War Two...oddly. So, we had some out of date weapons. I had a Thompson though, which was considered a nice gun in WWII. So, as we were walking through the forest, we were suddenly ambushed by Nazis.
"Get to cover!" our commander shouted. There was a nearby ditch(probably part of a creek). We hopped in. We were massively pinned down by the fire.
"We need to find a way to flank them." the commander said. We sat in the ditch waiting.
"We can't sit down here forever." I said. Then, the commander did something surprising.
"CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!" he shouted. That was an insane idea, but we did as we were told. We hopped out of the ditch screaming and firing. Instantly, a shower of bullets rained down upon the German Nazis. They quickly fell without a fight. Not too many remained. We all split up, and took cover among the trees. I saw a small group of three Nazis. I jumped out and gunned them down. Then, I saw another German out of the corner of my eye.
"Oh s***." I said. He reacted a bit quicker than me. I ran out of the way as he fired, but little did I know, he had a buck-shot. A small spritz of bullets hit my shoulder, and I collapsed to the ground with shrieks of agony. Then, the German was mowed down by my fellow soldiers. They got me up on my feet. I was a-okay. We had won the battle too. So, we went out and celebrated all night. I was not lucid in this dream, because none of my dream signs were present.
