Mom tells me she is getting with Dan (my uncle IWL). She’s not leaving dad, they’re going to be in a polyamorous relationship. I am really, really upset and hide in my room. I call up my WL online friend Pillywiggin, except Harry, the father of an old WL schoolfriend, answers. He’s really polite, and when I ask for Pillywiggin, he says ‘thank you for calling’.

I blubber for a while to Pillywiggin as she comforts me.

-I remember the word polynormative, and something about grandma. Also, mom going to stay with Dan.

Notes: It’s hard to type up a dream that bothers you. I wanted a poly dream but not like this. ;^;

Going down a tube, and looong windy stairs.

Entering a field where there are a bunch of people cosplaying The Hobbit. I don’t think they were actually wearing accurate costumes though.

Eating food with Melly and her group. There was a $2 piece of some small food, I took a bite but didn’t like it (too bland). I ate a piece of Hershey’s chocolate with marshmallows (didn’t taste like anything). Something about a pearl. Melly was going to show me a way out but I knew one?

One of the girls there looked like someone I knew in elementary school. “Becky, is that you?” But it couldn’t be her, she looked too young. There were a few other girls that looked like her too.

I was trying to find my way home and was flying around the town.

I’m inside a foreign school whose gate gets locked with me inside, but I think the gate opens and I get out. I remember carrying around a bottle of flat pop (it was unopened, I just felt that it was).

I fought the same monster twice (as if the scene were replayed, except the second time there were others fighting it too), using quick slots like in Dragon Nest, if I were a swordsman maybe. I was worried someone would call me out, either because of my powers or for using a hack (hacking reality?).

Notes: I used too many keywords instead of phrases this time and didn’t elaborate enough, so couldn’t recall everything properly later.

-Competition, missing, game-like

Possible inspiration: The last Inazuma Eleven episode I had watched was one before a competition between two teams to see who would go on to do Football Frontier International.

Dream/fragments:

- I was browsing a manga site on somewhere like Tumblr. There was a message warning about hacking on it. I didn’t recognize a lot of the manga but was going to bookmark it anyway. I felt better about it once I saw they had (Katekyo Hitman) Reborn.

Inspiration: For the hacking thing, last night I was updating Pillywiggin on the hacking situation on MAL.

- ‘We’ were standing outside somewhere. An animal had died and we were trying to find something to bury it in. We had a fancy tube, but it was to small, I wondered how it would fit.

One of the characters felt deeply for the death of the animal and was petting it, only it was alive, he was saying ‘there, there’.

Some creatures are after us. A raccoon shows up and leads a pack of them around a column and away from us. We run across some brown grassy plains. I look back and see a bunch of dogs chasing us now! Someone beside me says that they’re friendly. They’re just running after us for fun, and a couple lick at my hands.

- A man is going through papers someone had done, he says it’s good work and goes to meet his ‘student’. He goes outside, and when he spots him the student says something meaningful. The setting is a really pretty garden area/backyard. All Irvin can see is Haruka’s head, and as Irvin gets closer, it’s to see that Haruka is standing in a very clear, small pond of lilypads and grass.

Haruka’s face was really vivid, the style he was drawn in made him seem bigger than in the Free! anime, and the scene was drawn as if it was taken directly from a manga.

- Something about taking on a debt.

Possible inspiration: The column probably came from the dream yesterday. Irvin is from Shingeki no Kyojin, Haruka is from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club.

1) I go in the bathroom to change (at grandma’s house?), but Rane is in there changing too. When I put on the clothes, something isn’t right. They’re choking me but I can’t get them off. Rane starts helping me but is taking too long and I’m starting to panic, I start getting lightheaded and reach back to pull some Velcro apart, and the clothes fall off.

We get in a bit of a fight, something about not trusting. I say something sarcastically to her. ‘So I should just…and trust…”

2) We’re preparing to move. There’s a truck outside. Dad is cooking something. I step down on a step where food is (spaghetti sauce?), but no one says anything about me getting the food dirty.

I ask mom if I can get my jacket, but she says I won’t need it?, but I want it.

Inside, the cats were put into rooms to keep them out of the way. Jazzy loves all over me when I go in. One cat gets out at one point and I put them back in a room. I feel sorry for them.

I remember one door was open a crack, I figure two cats must be sharing a room then if no one is using one - hopefully it’s Smoke and Jazzy since they might get along better than Spice and Jazzy.

I also remember trying to turn the lights on but they wouldn’t come on, the rooms were dark. I figured mom must have turned the breaker off. I wonder if the cats are scared of the darkness.

3) We’re heading somewhere in a vehicle but I’m not happy and want to go back. I say something about how I will, and mom makes fun of me. ‘Oh, you will?’. There’s a white screen projecting in the back, and symbols pop up telling where we need to go. One is a Y symbol.

4) Like 5 people getting into a pose for something.

Possible inspiration: A lot of these dreams had shades of dissatisfaction in them! Maybe that’s why I was in such a bad mood today. :/ And they were connected. I wonder if I've been falling back asleep and waking back up with this gathering of fragments. 2#: Had spaghetti the other day. Think one of the piece of clothes in #1 was a skirt I was thinking about wearing yesterday.

Rane was showing me how to change just the backgrounds of art from some manga. I found a pretty blue and white patterned background, but when she applied it to the picture it only filled it with white except for the chest down of one character and half the head down of another character beside them.

At grandma’s house, mom wants me to stay but I don’t want to. And she wants me to play an MMORPG where the character options are all weird monsters - the one I choose is a floating eyeball with long eyelashes. You choose different worlds. Melly tells me what ones she was told to stick to. I find the game boring and want to go with mom.

-Sneaking around our house because I’m not supposed to be there, I hurry and turn off the kitchen light when I hear dad coming and I go to my room (which is actually just the next room over in the dream). Maybe that’s when the computer part happens?

Note: It should have been me showing Rane how to use that program, since I’m the tech savvy one!

-I zoom into a scene and see a flying character, and am able to make out that she’s carrying another female character. Apparently it’s a scene in ‘the new episode’. After watching it, I feel like I had already seen it before.

-Someone asking me if I’ve ‘seen the new episode (yet)’
- Someone calling the flying girls ‘old people’
-Think I remember seeing Greek columns in the scenery.

Possible inspiration: Me telling Pillywiggin that I need to watch the new episode of Free!.

Fragments:

-A community living off limited resources

-Image in my head of three Inazuma Eleven characters standing next to each other, maybe performing a hissatsu technique together.
- The phrase ‘Running away from the ball’.

Fragments:

1) Like three people transform into one thing into another and back? ‘I’ was talking on the phone to a man, but when I went to see him in person, it was a small black woman, and I called her out on it.

2) Me, Rane and her ex chilling in a bed, it was kind of awkward.

3) Looking at books in a library with a boy, there are some manga as well. I casually steal one so he can’t see, because I know he won’t like me doing it. In another section, I notice that someone didn’t sort a few manga right, one of them is a Bleach volume.

Notes:

I had four dreams yesterday but they were mostly fragments/confusing.

Immorality is definitely going back on my list as a dream sign. n_n

I think deja vu is making a comeback in my dreams again as well.

-Trying to hide something for a black cat(?), one cat already had stuff hidden, but this one takes back the flat, (blue?) object and scampers off with it itself.

Me and Rane get trapped in a storage type unit. Any doors out are locked. Finally I see a way out, and climb up something to get to it. The latch and screw is all rusty, and I’m relieved when I manage to get it open. Then we have to take a bunch of figurines and stuff off of the latched/screwed shelf. I start recognizing stuff and questioning it, and start getting upset because it’s stuff of mine that’s been missing. I question “where are we??” and try to think of what place it could be.

A few of the things on the shelf: Figurines (I remember clear glass cylinders with things inside them, like flowers), Pokemon cards, and there are some creatures in tanks, like a small crab, and Rane points out a praying mantis type creature in a tank. One of them had rice in the bottom of the tank but it was getting old, so I threw in some new ‘rice’, except it was white plant stalks.

-Asking something about underwear to Rane and saying ‘that’s just too sad’.

When I see a red with white swimming suit in the stuff, I say ‘I could have been wearing this’, because I don’t have many (good) swimming suits.

-Rane watching an anime whose opening I don’t recognize, but when I look over I see two guys walking along a dirt road in a town and see that she’s watching a show I recommended, and I hope it shows the blond girl soon so Rane will get into it more.

Possible inspirations: Climbing comes from the previous dream about climbing the porch/cabinet. I think the blond comes from Yuri in Mawaru Penguindrum, because I was recently thinking about the show and opening song. The style the two guys were drawn in reminds me of Escaflowne. Rice comes from a previous dream. I have deja vu about the creatures in tanks, feel like I may have actually dreamed about something like that before.

I didn’t even know I wasn’t already awake at first, because I was looking at dreams on DV and typing up dream keywords in the Dream Journal blog post box.

I saw someone’s dream and apparently recognized Leon (from Dangan Ronpa).

Inspiration: For Leon, I watched three of the latest episodes on Sunday, and remember looking at the x’ed out portrait of him during a Trial. For the twins, I was reading Kingdom Hearts II volume 2 last night, and in it, Roxas was staring across at Sora before he melded back with him. For Kawahira, I saw someone’s comment in the MyAnimeList discussion thread for the chapter I’d read yesterday evening saying that we still have to figure out who he is.

9:29 A.M.

I’m looking for something on the porch (at an old residence), it turns out to be a green cord hanging down from the roof - I can just see the end of it and I need it. Mom tells me not to try and get it but I imply that I have before. She climbs up on the wood railing. I stabilize her waist and end up lifting her as she grabs the cord. She’s impressed as I help her down. (She’s nearly double my weight IWL.)

I’m moving with a group around an empty house. We stop here and there to fight monsters. It’s like a haunted house only in the daytime. A few times one of the team, a girl, offers blood by cutting her palm and dripping it onto the wooden floor to make the monsters come. I keep talking about what some of the places are/their story, because apparently I used to live in this house. I think there was a guy or two involved in the story. There’s a hushed feeling and sense of expectation.

The last scene is on a small porch in the back. I remember seeing grass outside of it grown a few inches, and there was another porch to the left. It looks too small to be what I remember it as.

The girl asks me what I’m doing, and I say I want more monsters. More bloodletting here?

Inspirations: The last porch comes from the previous dream, I think I remember that it was supposed to be used as a room (possibly the fancy wooded one). Climbing the first porch railing probably comes from me climbing the kitchen counter to get something out of the cabinet. The green cord must come from the Christmas lights mom showed me yesterday. Monsters come from gaming. Wonder if I should add ‘old residences’ back to my dream signs list.

Notes:

Woke up happy that I remembered more than the day before, and felt like I had gotten better sleep. (Of course, now I feel like crud. XP)

Emotions: Hushed and expectant atmosphere.

7:50 A.M.

‘I’ am a younger girl, between 15-17 perhaps.

-I’m out on a porch, where there’s writing in big letters all around on the rails (I try to read it, can’t remember if I was able to). I hear something, and look over to the right out at a forest. I see a person or two and whistle with my fingers, but it’s not coming out right. I hurry inside when they start running for me. I think there was an animal? Because I think I mention one when I go inside and say that I don’t feel well to my ‘parents’, who are concerned. But I’m fibbing, because it’s just a way to get out of interacting with this man, who is there too:

-An older man who looks like my uncle IWL is trying to court me. He’s suspicious when I fib a few times. At one point we formally say parting words (except it seems to be Korean-style game characters instead, in a vision?).

-Whilst on a porch at some point, I talk with the man. He asks me some embarrassing questions (maybe about my sexual history?) and I keep shaking my head and answering no. I’m a bit intrigued by the situation but I’m shy. At one of the questions, he says something like, “I finally got a blush out of you.” I don’t feel like I did, but maybe a little one is possible.

-I fall out of bed (but I don’t remember seeing one) when I get a call (though there was no phone). It’s someone I know (they have a title instead of a name, like three words but can’t remember now) who I’m going to meet somewhere in the house to go out somewhere with. I can see that ‘I’ am a small anime girl (maybe looking like Madoka) wearing fancy pajamas. The room I’m in is big and made of wood, I can tell I’m from a high-up family.

-Someone is waiting in my bedroom (woohoo two bedrooms, except this one is more normal from what I recall). It’s the man.

Possible inspiration: I saw some fanart with Madoka in it in the evening. Not sure about the rest.

5:55 A.M.

Cheating in World of Warcraft by jumping in someone’s server.

At first it was a fanart site, but I forgot what kind.

Then it was a manga site. A girl said something about manga for people who had read APH (Axis Powers Hetalia).

Then it was an Instance that turned out to have orc enemies and I had to run when I saw that they were Elite. For some reason instead of just logging off (maybe I was too panicked or it wouldn’t let me), I Ieft the Instance and the owner was waiting outside and caught me. She added me to her friendslist as I warped out of the game (so that she wouldn’t lose track of me).

…But it took me to town instead, and I’m in a Acolyte outfit in Ragnarok Online, female with the white hairstyle in twin ponytails over the shoulders and clasps at the ends. As I viewed my character omnisciently from a point a few feet away, I wondered if she/I was cute enough to get the server owner to forgive her/me.



Bam, the server owner is right next to me, she found me! I quickly type in “Sorry =/” and exit the game. (I never felt like she was going to hurt me, more like she just wanted to talk with me about it.)

Inspiration: Probably due to my increase in gaming lately, playing Dragon Nest and Inazuma Eleven. I played WoW and RO for a long time some years ago. The Acolyte actually looked like mine before she became a Priest! Oh hey, one of my old dream signs, immorality…

I just remember asking “am I dreaming?” or something of the like and getting excited, then trying not to let the adrenaline get to me, but I was already waking up and forgetting the dream.

May have involved Inazuma Eleven?

Inspiration: I finished The Power of Creative Dreaming last night before bed, and it got me excited reading about becoming lucid and such even though I wasn’t planning on going for that yet. XP

All I remember is the old man from the ‘drowning will’ dream playing soccer.

Possible inspiration: Probably from thinking that the 2am dream involved Inazuma Eleven.

Couldn’t get back to sleep after that.

Notes:

Not the best night of sleep ever. ;^; It was hot, and my thoughts were going a little too crazy from all the stuff I’ve been reading on DV. I’m focusing on getting my recall back up and getting to bed at a decent time, but I can’t stop thinking of all these other things I want to learn. I figure it’ll settle down as long as I keep refocusing on what I need to work on now. And I need to remember that I can go down and turn the AC up when it’s that hot…

9:45 A.M.

I’m on the school bus sitting on the left side (as I did IWL).

Two kids in the front seat pass me a petition with a small list of names written on it. When I look at the top section, I see it’s actually a will for one of the kid’s (can’t tell if they were a girl or boy) mother who drowned herself. Her last name was the same as mine. I wrote my name down as the fifth signature. I think the will was something about taking care of the kid.

Later, a little boy is cheering about his signatures and how he’s close to be getting something. Apparently there’s a program where he gets new things the more signatures he receives, and he was close to getting some new toys/candy.

I had passed the petition over to the two kids in the seat next to mine, but when they were done with it, they passed it back to the original kids. I hear one say “only a few”.

There’s an old guy sitting in the seat the original kids had occupied. He’s telling a story or something. I’m wondering why an old guy was there and concluded that he must be a helper.

I’m in a school classroom, looking at a frame at the front of the room. There’s a shipping fanart drawing from The Hobbit, but there’s something off about it, something missing, and there is a scribbled comment nearby. Perhaps something that makes me think someone is against the ship. I get worked up and say, “I hate this place.” As I look more around the school. There are more fandom drawings, and I saw a few things that made me think ‘it looks the same as it used to in some ways’, like a blue piece of something sticking out from behind a frame that had apparently been there in the past as well.

-Helping a disapproving guy out with something in some kind of basement room(?).

Possible inspiration: For the signature part, I was looking at a competition thread on DV IWL that day where you had to sign up, and once there were enough people it would begin. For school, I had just been thinking earlier in the afternoon about old classmates. For drowning, the only thing I can think of is that on Wednesday, the newest episode of Free! revealed (though I had already known) that Rin’s dad died in a drowning accident. As for the old guy, one of my old bus drivers was one named Earl, and his son later took over.

Notes:

I just realized two of my biggest dream signs (vehicles and children) both appeared in one dream. orz I’ve been thinking of them lately, so I can watch out for them IWL to remind myself to be aware of them in dreams.

Also, I want to make sure I note any emotions I feel in my dreams, since I don’t normally feel them unless it’s a bad dream (such as fighting with my mom). In the school dream, I was getting pretty irritated! But the feeling only lasted for a minute.

Decided to split longer dreams up between posts.

[4:19 A.M.]

#1: Inazuma Eleven, something about a combo move, I almost didn’t wake up enough to type it down because it seemed ‘ordinary’, and almost like a thought process.

Inspiration: Was thinking about Inazuma Eleven before bed, plus I played the game on my computer before that.

[8:23 A.M.]

#1: Inazuma Eleven, only remember that some guy showed up that I didn’t expect to.

Inspiration: Same inspiration for the last one, except when I was playing the game, I saw Handa, but thought he was Ichinose at first because they look alike, so I was like “what is he doing here already?” (he doesn’t appear until a bit later in the series) before I saw Handa’s name above the dialogue box.

#2: On LiveJournal(?), someone made a post about a game they liked, specifically an area. When I clicked on the LJ-cut, it was a tutorial on how to get a speedhack and play it. The style was similar to Dragon Nest.

There were a team of about 4 girls. My memory of this part is hazy. One loses their ring they have to wear to do whatever it is they do. I have to go digging for it in food in some trash, including some rice. I remember that I almost had it, but dropped it back in more food and had to keep searching.

I’m talking to dad about rings. I remember holding two gold rings together and at least one other (silver with black on the front) being involved.

Inspiration: I’m playing Dragon Nest and just before bed had written the goal down that I wanted to have a dream with me in the game fighting on my archer. The ring might come from the rings in the goal you can equip which glow (golden). The speedhack part comes from the game shield thinking that Avast (anti-virus program) is a speedhack, so I have to disable it when I play.

The food part comes from mom saying we should have rice next time with the crockpot porkchop recipe we had last night for supper.

Notes: It’s really interesting to think about the inspiration for dreams and seeing where ideas come from. XP

#1: Helping mom load some meat into a big black bag on the back of a truck. I find a bag of roast she missed and hand it to her and she put it in as well.

Possible inspiration: We bought a lot of meat to eat recently and we use black bags for trash. I was thinking about my vehicular dream sign before bed so maybe that’s where the truck came from (we don't own one).

#2: Grandma’s house. Don’t remember much, but I think I flew (grr I missed out on it). And something about hiding from grandpa?

Notes: Woke three times in all. Had a bit of trouble getting to sleep (thank you cat, but I’m not a big fluffy pillow), and was too tired to check the time and such. Really need to get to bed sooner, apparently 9+ hours ain’t enough. Also need to get more sleeping pills. Using the laptop is working out really great though. With my notebook, I couldn't understand my handwriting, but even if I mistype on the laptop, I can still read it. So used to deciphering typos by now. =P
