    Spellbee's Summer Lucid Competition 2016 - Entry 10

Fairly salty at today's results, including forgetting an entire DILD, not to mention all the trouble I had sleeping. Still, I did initiate two WILDs, one of which was chained into the other one. There's also some trash fragment later on as well.

An entire DILD gone missing when I first woke up very early in my sleep (stupid random waking thoughts...). Highly certain this included interactions with at least two upper tier Team Instinct members, among a bunch of other stuff. That's gonna cost me big points...

WBTB that unintentionally lasted for an hour and a half.

Dream 1 - WILD At Work

WILD transition. The visuals were blurred. I find myself at my old job, working the register. It was fairly busy.

My awareness drifted as I was attending the first customer, but I slowly realize my state. Even then, I preoccupied myself with the sale, all to see if I'd remembered how to get transactions done on that machine. I fumble and mess around a bit. The customer, frustrated, yells at me. I tell them to calm the hell down.

The dream ends shortly afterwards. I return to a WILD state within a five minute interval.

    Dream 2 - Summer Lucid Competition - Day 10

A familiar dizzying sensation marks a successful WILD in bed.

The air from the AC suddenly turns into frigid wind. This reminded me of a previous dream where my dream guide, E was responsible for blowing as much. So, I looked around and called to her. Suddenly, the ghostly moan of a woman echoed in the gusts. I tried getting my (presumed) guide's attention, both verbally, and through a Codec call, but ultimately, I got neither a response nor found anyone around.

Afterwards, I floated around for a bit. This movement was a bit slow and unresponsive. I then fall backwards on the floor and phased right through. From there, I found myself in complete darkness, the area too dim to see whether I was actually downstairs, or in the void. I'd just remembered that previous phasing won't count for points. So, I kicked upwards, and in an instant, I was in my room again.

Hovered around a bit more before I thought to exit through the window. But, I misaim my trajectory, and slam myself headfirst into the wall. What's worse, my eyes were forced shut against my will. Still, I do end up outside, given the sunlight I saw glaring through my eyelids and felt on my skin. Several familiar voices sounded in the distance. These were of Rick and Morty, who were making some banter.

I'm yanked back in bed, and the dream ends immediately afterwards.

That second WILD sounds very much like an OOBE. Interesting that you didn't just go through the wall. Were you scared of missing the window?

Well, it wasn't so much fright as much as it was reflex. Guess instinct follows one into a dream after all, heheh.
