Dream 1 - Quantum Excursion
Scene 1 - Arms of the Void
Virtually no visuals at all. Several WILD/DEILD transition in bed. First few were rather unstable. In later runs, I swung up, down, and through the bed, as if on a tether, until I fell straight to the void. Brief transitions occurred, one in a hospital, and another with family.
In a later transition back in bed, I made efforts to summon my guide, E. I eventually felt four arms wrap around me from underneath, which then dragged me back into the void. Warp.
Scene 2 - Freeze The Sun!
The visuals started dim and blurred, but somewhat clarified over time. I was looking out a window in an unknown apartment suite. Outside stood tremendous urban houses tall enough to reach an overcast sky. Remembering the TOTMs, I flew outside, and looked around for the sun. I continued miles away to a forested area, where the sky was finally clear and blue enough to see what I wanted.
Several attempts were made in trying to freeze it, first by just thinking it, then by trying to charge up and shoot a freeze ray at it, with no luck. And then, in my last go at the latter, I unexpectedly fired a brilliant, snowflake-shaped projectile the size of a large medicine ball. The missile steadily made its way towards the sun. All of a sudden, a bunch of strange creatures floated in view. These appeared what could be best described as giant piscine animals, trunks in place of mouths, and bright orange and blue carapaces covering much of their bodies. Whether intentional or not, over a dozen of them got into the line of fire. Fortunately, the projectile phased right through them. It then continued along into the horizon, whereupon the sun was struck instantly.
Blinding light covers my eyes. The chill of frost follows suit. When I come to, I see that the sun has, rather comically, been encased in a thin cube of ice. In fact, it now appeared like a glowing snowball, its piercing light bright enough to illuminate the land. Furthermore, the surrounding wilderness had been covered by soft snow.
I fly around some more, eventually arriving at an arborous hill. Deer were running around below. Contrasting the environment, these animals appeared blocky and pixellated, similar to mobs in voxel games like Minecraft. Annoyed at their presence, I fired golden energy orbs at these critters. Explosions launched all those deers out of view, leaving a smoking crater in their stead.
The dream collapsed shortly after. DEILD transition.
Scene 3 - Diving into The Quantum Realm
Started practically blind again. Another transition in bed. I dive through the void. Eventually, I get the idea to go to the "Quantum Realm" (as depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). I spring up an AR HUD to track (poorly defined) energy readings, of which appeared as several meters and gauges in my left. Next, I shrunk myself, and continued to do so for much longer than I ever did.
Eventually, faint light could be seen in the distance, steadily expanding and becoming brighter until I was within it. Surrounding me was a twilight world flowing with cosmic dust, brilliant sparks, and fluid, splaying iridescence. I would've stayed much more than just a minute to appreciate this view, had I not noticed a green leech-like creature lumbering towards me. It was initially of a manageable size. But, since I was still unwittingly shrinking, it was eventually so large as to become the only thing I could see. The beast opened its terrible maw, sharp teeth running down through its gullet, and sucked me inside. Had I not willfully shrunk further, I would've been grounded up into mincemeat.
Now, I was small enough to see individual particles. All of these were bouncing around like billiard balls on crack, and conveniently were of likewise contrasting colors to distinguish them. Occasional electrical currents (or, better put, something visibly like it) kept them bound to each other.
Specious reasoning related to photons, quantum entanglement, and quantum tunneling, allowed me to justify warping elsewhere. I visualized a location. The background faded, and faint images came and went. Besides that, nothing else seemed to happen. Unwitting warp.
Scene 4 - Living Parade Floats
The visuals were blurred. Initially, all I could see was a clear blue sky. Then, various figures appeared, only they all looked like caricatures of actual people. Perspective warped each to either be bigger or smaller than they first seemed.
I zoomed back, to find a parade was ongoing in city streets. It seems the largest, most misshapen of the "people" were actually vehicle-mounted parade floats. And yet, said floats were also individuals all their own. One of such, depicting a grumpy blonde woman, scooped out someone from the audience, and swallowed them whole. No one seemed to care at all.
Several familiar figures were on said blonde-float. One of these was Frylock from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. But, when he spoke, he sounded like Master Shake, and indeed, made inane ramblings similar to the same character. I remembered the crying task, and thought to do so by making trouble. I yelled out to the float-lady, screaming "That guy stole your wallet!", all while pointing at 'Frylock'. The float glares at him, then seizes him in her grip. 'Frylock' breaks down to sobs, and pleads for his life.
Things destabilize. I focus on the environment to correct this. Just then, Master Shake (as himself) runs towards me, clearly upset.
"Why would you do that?!", he grumbled.
I smiled nervously. "Sorry about that", I responded. "I was just trying to-"
"I was gonna give it back!" Guess he somehow took her wallet after all.
Things deteriorated. DEILD back in seconds.
Scene 5 - More Quantum Stuff
Started almost blind once more. Transition in bed. I fell into the void. Yet again, I warped into the "Quantum Realm", only this time, things modulate much quicker. Like before, I try teleporting somehwere specific. I end up warping almost seamlessly.
Now, I find myself as a shrunken figure in an unknown home, the walls white and floors wood. A mouse hole was carved (from my perspective) a few dozen meters away. I hurry to hide there, just in case the residents weren't the friendly type. Things start slowing down, much like a poorly streamed video. Concurrently, I felt myself in bed. Only stayed a few more seconds before I woke up.
Dream 2 - Brave Rush, Reckless Rush
Scene 1 - Generic Terrorist Hideout
The visuals were a bit blurred I was sneaking through a rather wide alleyway gated by a chain-link fence. Some prodding around revealed a hidden pathway of concrete and steel-grated, generators humming from out of reach.
Just then, cellar doors opened up at the end of the hallway. Reactively, I activated a cloaking watch, vanishing from view. Out stepped two of the most generic looking Middle Easter terrorists ever convened: heavily armed, tanned-skinned men in baggy clothes, dark hoods concealing their faces. I "remembered" I was infiltrating a budding terrorist stronghold in the US, Indeed, they'd blurted out how they'd a sizable munition cache, and how they were using a nearby Mosque as a front for their operations. The two pass by me none-the-wiser. That's was my cue to uncloak myself (to have my hands free, i guess?), pull out a combat rifle, and gun the terrorists down.
I hurry out back to the alleyway, only to find enemies were already waiting for me. They had me dead to rights. But then, a grenade explosion took them all out. I now "recalled" a partner of mine, a dude in combat gear and balaclava, had guarded the entrance. Good save!
Too soon to celebrate, though. The place was once again swarmed. We managed to take a few more down, but it wasn't enough. Before long, we were overwhelmed.
I rewound time just as I was about to die. Now, I had my partner wield a bazooka as back-up. However, this also proved ineffective. Similar results occurred when I had him mount two machine-guns on-site. Frustrated, I opted to skip any stealth, have us both wield rocket launchers, and blow the whole place up. We then cloaked ourselves, and ambushed survivors that crawled out. Success!
Unknown transition.
Scene 2 - The Dangers of a Dark Age Rush
Similar visuals as above. I was playing a competitive game of Age of Empires 2. My brother Hubert was nearby, as were Uncle Amos and his wife Matilda. I make a Dark Age rush (specifically, the "douche" strategy) against the nearest opponent, an Aztec player. It took a bit of time to set up. Still, the player was completely unprepared for it, and gave up promptly.
But, this proved folly. Another enemy all but claimed my old site. Furthermore, the player teched up all the way to Castle Age even before I had the resources to go Feudal Age. All it took was a force of a single knight and a handful of men-at-arms to wipe my civilization out. I blurted out to the others the details of my gambit, though they didn't seem all that concerned.
Unknown transition.
Scene 3 - "Kicking Ass For Justice, and For Liberty!"
Similar visuals as above. I was once again in that aforementioned alleyway. Like before, I was raiding a terrorist ring, only this time, with a bigger group, of which included Hubert. We simply barged inside, and fired at anything that moved. Furthermore, during the onslaught, the lot of us chanted the main theme from Broforce. All-in-all, the enemy was completely dominated.
I woke up soon after.
