Got some LDs and a few scraps today. Time to keep this momentum going.
Spoiler for Lots O'Words:
Dream 1 - Beach Globe Fall
Several forgotten scenes before this one (something about being in a city?). The visuals were mostly clear. I was in a silver-blue void. By this point, I'd gained awareness. I conjure a hologram of the globe. With it, I zoomed in close to the southern tip of Florida.
I'm then warped in that very location high up in a clear blue sky. My descent was taking me more west than I wanted. So, I flew to change course. As the view of the ground clarified, I see I was approaching an inlet, running north. I doubted there should be a river there. Anyway, I arced to hover over the river, my near-landing creating a trail of acute waves. After several blocks, I slowed, and landed to the eastern side of the inlet.
There was quite a lot of beach-goers at this site, people going to and from picnic areas. Running at super-speed, I weaved through the crowd. I eventually found a building to the east. Entering, I found it was a mall lobby. I walk around for a bit. Some family members popped up, as did a co-worker or two (Claire identified). Among their chatter, I noticed them mentioning some pastries I supposedly made. One of these were large, round chocolate cookies. There was also some kind of rolled pastry. I felt the presentation on the latter was a bit sloppy. Nonetheless, they were all quite happy with the result. I avoided getting too distracted with that, and started making my way out. But before I did, I ran back to them, and grabbed a chocolate cookie to eat. It was very soft, and had a moist, gooey filling. I could see why they loved it. I dithered between leaving, then going back to sample more, before finally committing myself to exit.
Now, I raced westward. As I darted through the land, the environment took more the appearance of sand dunes. As far as I could see, there were no signs of the ocean, buildings, or much of people. It took a few miles before I finally arrived at the glass-wall exterior of another structure. The inside was some kind of public dining area, its constructions warm-colored. Many people were huddled here. Feeling the strong chill of air conditioning seemed a strong justification. Yet, I noted that although the air outside was very dry, it didn't feel anywhere near as warm as it looked; felt about as temperate as an autumn day.
As I glanced around, I spotted Bill, a former co-worker from way back when. He gave a casual greeting, and looked interested to start a conversation. Quite a quizzical encounter, but I wasn't really interested in such distractions at the moment. I slinked back out of sight, then made my way in again. As I did, I noticed the Mountain Grotto theme from Shiren the Wanderer sounding. I hummed along to it, when I noticed Bill was nearby the entire time. He insisted that he tag along. I preferred not to struggle with the dream on this, and relented.
But then, just as we ambled further west, Bill made a very, very inappropriate badwrong touch. Outraged, I pull out a weapon from nothingness, a wakizashi, as it so happened, drawing it as if I were unsheathing something from my left hip. With a single upward slash, I severed this dream antagonist's forearm. He reels back, and cowers, as I wander away. I felt dismay that the dream would produce such a vile doppleganger; I never thought poorly of the guy.
The dream soon began collapsing. I allow this, all-the-while recalling as much as I could.
Dream 2 - Phase Library
No visuals initially. WILD transition in bed, as noted by the deep echoes of the ceiling fan. I try rolling off the bed, but merely returned to where I was. I repeated this numerous times, and even tried screaming at some points for stability/dream control, but the same thing kept happening. This was a bit discouraging. Nonetheless, I kept going at it, expecting that time will be what creates change.
Eventually, I did indeed landed elsewhere. I found myself in an interior of carved stone, sun rays seeping from far above. At each sides were innumerable rows of wooden bookshelves, the book's colorful binidings contrasting the drab surroundings. Then, a tall figure descends from steps before me. He appeared as some type of orc wearing mauve robes, his form as broad as two men.
He glares down silently. I get spooked. Instinctively, I throw an uppercut, sending him reeling back. More cloaked orcs rush to the scene, keeping their distance. They jeer at me in a growling, unearthly language, as they make furious gestures calling for my immediate withdrawal. I realize I overreacted. I give an apology, but, understandably, the orcs were not placated. Still, I was just too fascinated by this site to just leave. I fly above their heads, and zip a few blocks across the endless aisles in the span of a few seconds. From a glance, the orcs remained in place, observing quietly.
I enter a space dimly illuminated with a deep blue light. Otherwise, the layout was like the rest of the library. To my left was an alcove of bare stone. I tried phasing through, but was bumped away. I hovered around the sight, doing my best to barge through any surface. Yet each time, I'd simply bounce back like a bug smacking itself into a closed window. I resorted to turning away and looking back at my hand. This did the trick; my hand was now partially phased through a row of books and its shelf. I forced it in further, and followed suit with the rest of me. I was then tunneling ethereally through grey-blue stone. I expected a warp momentarily.
As anticipated, I soon teleported. I was now at the concave exit of a very tall building, its constructions of grey-blue, a cityscape at the horizon of an early dawn sky. Before me was a balcony under a canopy. As I continued past the exit, I noticed two figures to my right. One was a tall broad figure concealed entirely in a cloak and conifer hood. The other was what seemed a generic anime girl, skinny, saucer-eyed, and with short blue hair. But as I got closer, I noticed she her legs were replaced with the body of a giant spider.
I started getting bored. So, I scaled the girl's size to gigantic proportions, much to her confusion. I jumped up to face level, where I bopped her in the eye in hopes of provoking her. Instead, the giant girl simply whined as she winced in pain. It was obvious she wasn't going to fight back.
Things started deteriorating. I memorized as much as I could as the dream faded.
Scrap Group 1
Something about being in an office building.
Dream about Mortal Kombat 3. Dream re-entry.
Dream 3 - Construct Contact
The visuals were a bit blurred. Lucid dream re-entry. I was in the hallway of a vintage office building, the constructions of polished wood. For practice, I tried conjuring guide construct D with a casual wave of my arm. It came to much surprise when she manifested before me. She appeared over 30ft. tall, her form phased through the site to accommodate as much of her body as possible. I extended my palm to touch her own. On contact, my arm was assaulted with unseen energy, burning and numbing me as if I were struck with electric currents. It was almost too much to bear. But soon, the feeling subsided. My mind became blank of ambition and desire. I kept holding my guide until the dream faded.
