Cities in the Astral

I was in a vivid non-lucid and trying to enjoy a natural history museum. As I walked down one corridor I was followed by two young boys who were making loud rude noises. I decided to just let them pass by, so I stopped. They stopped and stared at me. It was clear that they did not want to loose their captive audience. I was pissed off as it proved they wanted to bother me. I took a rolled up paper and slapped one of them very hard with it.
No adults were around, but I figured I should get away from there before some did come. I went out an exit, and wondered if any one saw me go out. At this point I felt the situation was not very realistic and simple RCs showed me it was a dream. I was on a college campus. I started walking around and felt the need to stabilize, so I kept repeating 'this is a dream' out loud. I passed by a couple young women who stared at me. A classic mental stumbling block of DCs telling you were not dreaming. I had nothing planned so I told them that this was in fact a dream, and that I would show them a trick. I started levitating and zoomed over to them and raised about 8 feet into the air.

They of course said I must be using wires or some sort of trick, and that it was not a dream. I told them that I could make lightning or summon things, but that DCs never agree about dreams. I just wandered off and enjoyed some basic screwing around, but my recall fails to be clear on what all I did after that.
