The Nomad Chronicles

I am on some strange ring world, like Halo.

I am at the starting blocks of what looks like a ski jump with Raven, and... Sonic the Hedgehog. He grins at me, and gives me a thumbs up. Raven is warming up for a race.

She stares at the track ahead.

"Alright coach... help me loosen up. I am going to burn this little blue rodent."

I massage her neck a little.

"Um Raven... what are we doing?"

"Aren't you going to race?"

"I suck at this game."

"Why don't you be Tails. You can fly. But, you can't win. You can watch me, though."

I turn into Tails. "Aw, you look like Foxy." She gives me a hug. I hear a gunshot.

Sonic and Raven take off. Raven's legs start to spin in circles, and then I see something like a jet flame shoot out from behind her. It's hilarious. I laugh, but she doesn't seem to notice. She has such a serious look on her face. I see through her eyes for a second. Running at 500 mph. HOLY SHIT. WHOAH. ok. that was weird.

Raven beats Sonic.

Sonic gives her a pair of red vinyl shoes as a prize.

He gives me a pair of white cartoon gloves. He winks at me mischeviously. He does a trick of reaching into my pocket and making a silver coin appear.

I make a silver disk appear, and fly on it. He is impressed, and applauds me.

Raven and I fly off to the Biodome.
