Also, need to try out RC #5, it sounds like a load of fun to use
WBTB works, because when we get up, we wake up our minds, so the mind is more aware during sleep than normally. That's why it's easier to get lucid when waking up too. Good job on those vivid dreams. They can be tons of fun.

It is ok to visualize when WILDing, of as falling asleep for a DILD. But it's not critical to do so. Especially, if visualizing keeps you awake.

But, if I tell you, that visualizing is actually not as hard, you may give it a try yourself. True, that you can try and visualize for an advanced technique. But the most simple visualization, that actually works really well, is just simply thinking about your past day, or your fantasy, or some cool older dream. Once you start thinking about it (no need to see what you thinking about), as you get closer to falling asleep, this thinking will kick-start the dreaming process when you WILDing, and it may help you incubate a dream when you DILDing.

And yeah, # 5. "Try to change something" is my latest RC.

It got me lucid on few occasions. Simply, because I was so excited when i was practicing it in WL. The possibilities are endless. You can customize it to your liking. My favorite is "if this was a dream, I have a 6-pack in a fridge", or "my tv is 70 inch flat screen", or "me favorite actor is about to walk through my door"...

Good luck and let us know if you need help. Happy dreams
