That actually does help. Just make sure to do RCs whenever you find yourself there and start really wondering if it's a dream or reality. The fact that you said it doesn't help says that you're not thinking of it this way.

It seems for myself more than naught, I've noticed I go back to places I've been to before in dreams, usually expanding the areas limits and adding more in. It's usually an area of the places I've visited in dreams before that I've not seen, if tat makes any sense.
An example being, just last night actually. I've gone to a dream water park before that is outside, twice, both times adding and expanding to the area known, last night was a third visit there, and this time there was an indoor expansion to it, so I focused more on that, though the outside was still there and still what I know of it.

This type of thing happens a lot, whether being water parks, a dream cabin, or just a field. Hopefully when I get better at becoming lucid I can actually use this to my advantage

Malls, I believe. Which is weird considering I don't even go to the mall that often. :/

Seeing friends from school. Pretty much every dream I have had since I learned about this (I have remembered about two a night) has included someone from my school.

Like DragonMaster, I see friends from school, but I graduated a few years ago and haven't seen my friends for a long time. The problem is that although they're always in my dreams, I never notice that it's strange that they should be there. Celebrities and characters from shows/books. Cats are a big one for me, and hopefully since I'm hardly around cats now that I've identified this I should see a cat in my dream, do an RC, and realise I am dreaming. c:

I act pretty much the same way in my dreams as I do in real life. The way I think is different too. I just think about ways to get stuff I want but I find some way that I shouldn't go for it. Other than mentally, drugs (marijuana, DMT, and shrooms), sex, and friends. or some sick combo of all of the above like sex with friends while on drugs.

A skeleton that keeps appearing in all my dreams, his name is Raymond and i've got to know him the last few months. I drew a picture of him not to long ago though where he is protecting me frome some kind of nightmare.

So far only 1 that I know for sure. When I run, I can't run fast. I know that I should be able to run faster, but my legs basically go in slow motion compared to the rest of my body.

A dream guide, perhaps?

I never thought about this as being my dream sign (until now) but there are 2 different things that often appear in my dreams.
1. I'm driving (which is unreal because I'm 16 at the moment); This actually happens quite often in my dreams and I hope it'll help me attain lucidity.
2. Flight (or just being able to jump really, really high); I often find myself hopping for hundreds of meters, from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, or almost jumping up to the moon or something like that.

Being at school or with anyone I knew from school, I dream about school extremely often.

Mine is that I'm wearing something that I don't own.
Normally it's just a jacket or a shirt that I have never seen before or is my friends, but other times I might be wearing a jumpsuit or a uniform of some sort.

My dream signs are (the ones i know of at the moment)...
*Knives
*Feeling of conflict/fights.

I wish i knew why.

One of mine is also getting into conflicts/fights with people, I have never been in an actual fight and I rarely ever argue, but I have been dreaming about that a lot recently.


Another one of mine is if it's night outside, most of my dreams take place at night, which is fine with me as I love looking at the sky in my dreams .

You are alot like me then. Looking back through my memory all my dreams seem be during the night or in darkness.

Well, The fighting part? I'v had alot of fights in the past, could be why its a dream sign i guess.

Mine are water and I also visit Hogwarts and meet Harry Potter in most dreams. I'm a big fan!! =)

Mine seem to be old trucks and mirrors.

Tornados or arguing with my mom

those nearly always make me lucid, because neither happen to me in real life

Flight, apocalypse, free-falling, not being able to scream, me looking through the eyes of a little boy near the ocean with a little beige house, and teeth falling out.

I think I've discovered one dream sign for sure: water. Thinking about my past dreams, a lot of them had a stream, waterfall, or water park in them. In the dreams I've had since starting my DJ, all but one had water of some sort (lake, ocean, river, the shower, a pool). Finally, I can start doing RCs with purpose! Randomly doing them hasn't been helping me, but now that I have a dream sign, maybe they will work.

Other possible dreams signs are going back to high school/middle school, and going back to places I used to live. Those don't help me with RCs, but they occur somewhat frequently!

School, classmates and maybe stores.
I have to start RC'ing at school -.-

Being in unfamilar places. Being surrounded by water, Seeing any type of bird. And being aware of the intensity in the dream, helps me to trigger lucidity. I also should note, certain dream characters help me to become lucid too. This has also caused me to check my totem and question my surroundings more precisely.
