Requoting the material from another post for new readers. WHAT IS THE DREAMWORLD ACADEMY? I recommend reading the What Is The DreamWorld Academy? thread in the same sub-forum as this for more info. But I'll give you the brief version. The Dream World Academy is a castle (multiple castles that are all the same castle but in different places) that exists in the dream world. It doesn't matter if you believe in shared dreaming or not, because you can still dream about it and have experiences there. The idea is for the dreaming community to build a place in the dream world that everyone can relate to, and that we can build a clear picture of.

Whether you have a lucid dream of the castle or a non-lucid dream of a castle you feel could be a portal of the DWA, post a mention of it here: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-worl...unds-here.html Make sure the dream is posted in your Dream Journal! If you can remember to, post a link to your DJ entry. If not, DVA/DWA staff will read it and check for relevant info like potential characters and layouts of the DWA and the grounds surrounding the castle. Does it have to be a castle? I had a LD a long time ago and it was not in a castle but a tall building.

And as the trinity is one, I am one. And we all share this common trait, or I believe we do. So, I generalized it even more to everybody.

Anyone interested in getting the DWA running again? I saw there was a revival attempt in 2013 but it didn't seem to happen. I would be super keen if anyone else is up for it!

It seems to fit with the lucid task sub-forums better than the DVA courses... it's just the names that are similar. Maybe it would get some more attention in that forum?

I think it might be a good idea to revive this concept... a little infusion of imagination is always a good thing, and if the original concept is allowed to grow this time, who knows what will come of it? Moving the thread to a more visible forum might help, too, though I think the survival of a thread like this does depend more on participation than placement... hopefully this time participants will stay with it and past participants will return, and let the DWA take root... Another thought: are there any older members who remember the DWA directly, and perhaps why it faded so quickly? Maybe past errors can be avoided this time around.

Matte87 says: It was a great idea for a project that just lacked someone with enough time and enthusiasm to run it when KingYoshi left. I have had lots of PMs expressing interest in reviving the DWA, and some volunteers offering to help me run it. I am mid-conversation with a couple of people about logistics right now, but once I have that figured out, I will start a new thread and see if we can get this running again.
