I have for the last year been trying to meditate on and off, with no great success. I never seem to get my practice to where I want, maybe because of lack of motivation, or just really not knowing what to strive for. But since I started my quest on LDing everything has changed. It has never been this easy to change habits for the better, and having an idea of what to strive for. This made me really interested in your class Sivason, preparing me for LDs, getting my awareness up, and making meditation a daily practice.
I had my first LD last week, and are now just working on getting my dream recall up. And feel that this fits that goal too.
I will continue and start a workbook and read up on the first lesson. Hope that's OK

Thank you for the time you put into this!

Hi, I’m David. 19. I’m really interested in the many things we can do in Lucid Dreams. I love creating stories, so my goal is to have a “world” and characters that I can constantly go back to every night. I think that would be amazing.

I don’t like putting limitations on people when it comes to this kind of subject matter. When people say you can’t do this, or you can’t do that, I’d rather think of it as “No one has done this yet, no one has done that yet”.

I’ve been Lucid Dreaming inconsistently for a couple years and have never been able to move past the “Semi-Lucid” state, that is, moving past Layer one/two lucidity. I think Dream Yoga will help me clear that hurdle. Awareness is extremely important, and I think Dream Yoga will help. However, dedication and consistency, as I’ve learned the hard way, is also substantial.

Hi i just found the 'Raising kundalini good or bad' thread on google and noticed the wisdom in your post and the subtle humour. Im 29 male from london that started meditating from a barry long book and started noticing things happening like the electricity goin up and down my legs after about two weeks, improved awareness and mindfulness and just feeling better but i had a few experinces that scared me and put me off. One was being approached randomly by an indian yogi who was very interested in me for some reason and knew things about me like he was reading my mind but i had a bad feeling. Another was when i awoke from sleep hearing voices saying 'you are under attack' and feeling of terror and another where in a dream i recieved a massive download of information of how everything was connected and the feeling of communicating with something else but when i woke up i could barely remember. All this stuff stopped me and made me think twice lol.

i have also had lucid dreams as a boy and i have left my body a fews times one in particular while giving CPR to my dying mother when i was 16, only recently figured out what that was.

im not sure if you are still teaching but i have always felt different and i know i have something please please teach me to find myself. I have been searching all my life.

please let me know what i need to do...

I am pleased a goggle search brought you here. I am willing to help many of the people who approach me, but like all yogi, I will not hand you answers more than a few at a time. I expect you to take a year or more with the material set down so far in my lessons. This is a life changing thing, and not a summer project. Just go to the sub-forum this thread is in, and start a thread with your name and the word yoga in the title. This is where you can seek my advice and comment on anything yoga related or on one of the lessons.

I usually will give one free answer to serious students early on via P.M. as far as mysticism or religion, but then I hope they will take a long term approach to this. As in years. P.M. me if you have that one question that is haunting you.

Hello there sivason! My name is Kai and i was redirected here from a comment in post at the introduction forum.

This seems really interesting, meditation and yoga seems like something i could need, as it feels like my head is clouded and blurry often. I'm very new to the LD scene and would love to delve deeper into it, and this seems like a good place to learn a lot

Anyway, i will following this course to the best of my ability, in an attempt to master lucid dreaming!
Here is some info about me: I am 14 years old. I am from Norway. I have never done any type of meditation or yoga.

Hi. This is what I have been looking for I guess. Lurking around in this maze of mind and dimensions for to long. I just finished Robert Wagoners book. I have read half the yogas of dream and sleep + half of Allan Wallace's book. ( I am stating half to be sure that I am not lying) I am a registered Buddhist (what that may mean) in the Karma Tashi Ling Sanga in Norway which are Tibetan lineage. I am lucid dreamer from childhood. Recently I have experienced progression, in this may/june I have had many lucid dreams follow each other on the same night, where DC's helped me in staying aware and lucid between dreams and where the last dreams went into a mission or test. My main goal is to awaken my heart and stay in that. I often feel far away from my goal and I go of to other places. Hopefully this courses can be a important harbor for my practice. Thank you for starting this.

Hi. I would like to take the class.
I am a 29 year old male. Some of my hobbies are listening to metal music, drawing, creating music. I'm interested in having astral projections and get better at lucid dreaming.

      Hey there,
I am really interested in dream yoga because of the getting to know yourself better concept. I am also working on ADA/mindfulness, so this is probably gonna help me with building up my self-awareness. I am looking to get lucid at least once a night!

I am 18 years old and male. I live in Germany and my hobby´s are reading, sports, Tv-Shows and movies, haging out with friends and of course lucid dreaming!
Also I spent a year in the US in Upper Michigan

I had 17 lucids so far but I struggle with stabilization. Lets start

Hello! I started reading this thread several days ago. I've always wanted to get into dream yoga and knew that I was going to try out these techniques, but I wasn't sure if I would be committed enough to formally take this class. Well, I've officially decided to participate and start my own workbook here.

My name is Lola, I'm a 20 year old college student from South Carolina. I've been lucid dreaming for seven years now. I've read into dream yoga many times during this period, but didn't really get past the reading phase (until now). Aside from LDing, my interests include reading, writing, hiking, philosophy, language, and mythology.

My dreams have waned a bit in the last few months during a busy/troubling period in my life when I could not focus much on dreaming. I am looking forward to keeping up with your lessons here (despite being about 2 years late to the party). I've been working at it on my own for just 3 days now and already I'm beginning to see an improvement in my recall/clarity! Can't wait to see how much better it gets as I improve upon the techniques you've detailed here.

I am taking the plunge. Starting my yoga workbook today.

I'm 30 years old, male, married with no kids! I could probably best describe myself as Buddhist, without a necessary belief in reincarnation of the mindstream. I enjoy reading, writing, riding my bike, and yoga. I have a daily meditation practice in place.

Really looking forward to the mind training techniques, as I feel they will help me see better success with my WILDing. Right now, WILDing does not seem to be a thing that I do, and I of course, want all the LDs

      Hi there,

I'm happy to have found this class on dream yoga, and look forward to starting my journal. Thank you for writing and hosting it.

      A little about me:
I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming - I had never heard of what it was until about six months ago. Oddly, I found out about lucid dreaming through a dream where a DC told me to investigate lucid dreaming! The dream came to me about two weeks after having a spontaneous awakening experience that put me in the psychiatric ward for a week. Since then, lucid dreaming has become an obsession.

I have finally decided that I am ready to begin training in the Dream Yogic arts. I have been an active member on Dreamviews for over a month now with relative success.

My progress can be viewed here:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/intro-clas...-workbook.html

      A little bit about me:
I'm 24 year old South African and describe myself as a connoisseur of conciousness. From a young age I've always been interested in the weird, the strange,UFO's,ET's,OBE's,lucid dreams, psychedelics, altered states, shamanism etc.

I finishing my degree at medical school as a Physiotherapist in 2011. After completing my internship and training I decided to do some travelling.
I backpacked around Europe for 3 and a half months, and stayed in the liberal Amsterdam for one of them.

Mother India then called me, and the beginning of an absolutely mind bending fractal adventure.
I slowly made my way North toward the Himalayas from the southern state of Kerala.
This trip took me a touch under 9 months, learning about the culture and diversity of the Hindu and Buddhist traditions on the way.

I spent 10 days of those 9 months at a silent meditation retreat centre, learning the Buddha's gift to humanity...Vipassana.
The first 3 days are focused Anapanasati(concentration) and the last 7 days were focused on Vipassana.(Mindfulness within the microcosm of the body)

I would recommend this retreat to anyone who's interested and serious about meditation.
Its free(donation) and there's most likely a meditation centre near you.

      Vipassana Meditation

I ended my journey on the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, where I meditated and practiced Ashatanga and Hatha Yoga daily.

That journey is more that likely the reason why I sit here on this thread.

Currently I meditate for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening, and perform basic yoga asanas about 3 times a week.
I have also incorporated various Pranayama techniques into my practice.

I now wish to fully immerse myself in the ancient knowledge and practice of Dream Yoga, to trancend the Samasaric dream cycle and explore the self, eventually attaining the clear light awareness dream state.

I am also currently reading Rinpoches "Tibetan Yogas of Dream and sleep".

Thank you providing your time and resourceful knowledge.

      Hello Sivason,

I have begun to take an interest in learning meditation correctly, and was redirected here by fellow dreamview members.
It seems I have missed the first lesson(s) but whenever the next lesson/course starts I'd like to join.

      About myself:
I'm 20 years old, live in the Netherlands and am currently majoring in chemistry (research & development). I've started lucid dreaming 3 years ago and have succesfully induced about 21 lucid dreams, all of which were DILDs.
Now however, I'm going all-in on learning lucid dreaming and I'm starting with meditation, all-day awareness and a day journal.

      Thank you in advance.

I'm planning on getting into this class, starting this journey and finding out what this new adventure in Dream Yoga is all about. I come from a mindset were practice is the main focus, in forming habits and developing skills that stick throughout the entirety of my life. I'm in for the long run in this art. In the meantime, I have some things to sort out, but sometime next month (November or early December) I'll be ready to dive in into this practice, into this new skill and opportunity to learn.

      Hello!
I'm 22 years old and I live in Hungary. I usually have LD every night, but they end so quickly. It happens since I was a little child, but I usually feel emotions and it ruins the entire scene. I tried everything out: hand grabbing, shouting stabilize, take care of breath, focus on environment and nothing worked yet. I've checked the first lesson, and it gave me new hope to have more than a few minutes long LDs. I'm so happy about that you created this course, it looks so interesting and usefully even from the first sight!

I'm a 25 year old guy from the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. My uncle introduced me to meditation when I was a kid, and I've been fiddling about with it ever since. I'm getting serious about keeping a consistent practice, and am looking to meditate through the obscurations and karmas in a LD to get at clear light consciousness. Sure maybe I want to engage in sleep ganapuja too; a little hedonism never hurt anybody. I'll start my workbook after posting this.

Hi Sivason - Thanks for giving me the opportunity to start the Dream Yoga Class. I am 44 and been practicing meditation and training my mind since I was in my teens but cannot say I am anywhere near accomplished - I have always been inquisitive about stuff and since a little girl have asked lots of questions. I am enrolling in this dream yoga class as I am seriously interested in using LD's as part of my spiritual path - I am loving Lucid dreaming and just the fact of being lucid in a dream feels very empowering and profound in its self
I am hoping you might be able to guide me a bit I am inspired by your posts and accomplishments - I am learning with Sageous Wild Tutorial too. I live in Scotland and love it

I'm a 23 year old guy from Austria, who does meditation everyday already but wants to extend all his lucid dreaming and meditation abilities I'm starting right now with the journey and will post my results of the first lesson.
Btw. I own the book everyone's referring too
      Thanks sivason

No need to sign up. Just read the first few lessons and try some of it. If you have questions then start a notebook and I will try to help out. I do not check for new notebooks very often so be patient. This stuff is to be worked on over a year or more. Do not rush. Have fun.
