Nope, not a musical.

On FX tonight? I was gonna watch that but I was busy.

As for me....

Brick - One of my favorite movies. It's a neo-noir about a kid trying to figure out why his girlfriend was killed. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my favorite working actor.
Such a great movie.
Highly recommended.

I watched Appaloosa last night, and it was pretty boring boring at some parts, but I still enjoyed it. I'm not the kind of guy who needs action ever other second by any means, but it didn't have the kind of suspense I loved in 3:10 to Yuma, a western I actually enjoyed.

Today I'm planning on renting and watching either JCVD, MirrorMask, or something else.

I walked out shortly after they met up with the girl everyone was looking for.

Coraline was fun. It was so surreal, I liked it. There were some stunning visuals. I particularly liked when they showed her house set within the surrounding mountains, that was so cool.

And the previews of upcoming 3D movies was great. I look forward to seeing those. Like Monsters VS Aliens looked awesome. And Up. The one with the guy with the flying house dangling from balloons.

REAL D rocks.

So with you on that one. Brick and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are both awesome.

When I first heard about that movie, a friend told me he was in it. And I was like, the kid from Third Rock From The Sun? he still makes movies?

And now I'm so glad that he does.

Just watched Miracle at Saint Anna.

Hmm. I dunno. It was good at times, but not really as good as I thought it would be. I can't take too much away from it, though, because it had its really powerful moments, but it seemed to really drag on, in the middle. They also ruined an increasingly excellent ending with the very last scene - which was lame, to say the least.

The last film I watched was "Remember the Titans", I think it's absolutely fantastic.

I'm watching Freddy vs. Jason right now. Heh.

With all of the Freddy/Jason dreams I've had, lately, one might think I'm a glutton for punishment. Rofl. I love the whole Elm Street vibe, though. Those movies have always been the best at portraying the whole dreamworld aspect and making it as fucking freaky as possible. So awesome.

Watched Ghost in the Shell last night. I had seen some of it before, but I didn't remember it very well. It's great.

The Brown Bunny - still as good as I remembered it being.

Twist - A modern-day take on Oliver Twist centered around gay Canadian male prostitutes. Pretty good, and a decent soundtrack. The ending melted my brain a bit though...

I watched three asian movies the other night....

Battle Royal- Entertaining, and it was interesting to see how the kids reacted to the situation.

The Host- This one had a 92%[I think] on rottentomatoes, so I was expecting something pretty good. But I was sort of let down, I think I may have just been expecting a completely different movie so it sort of threw me off.

Suicide Circle- I really don't know what to say about this one. The first half was entertaining and thoroughly fucked up. I was curious to see where it would end up going, about half way through it becomes a whole lot more fucked up. I've heard there are sequels which help patch up some plot wholes from this one, so I probably check them out seeing as I had no fucking idea about what was going on during the ending.

Hitman...

Not close to the game, so I already didn't like it... The dialouge was kind of stupid, and wasn't great overall...

Bruce Lee in Game Of Death

Awesome. Although a bit annoying with the unlimited no-face henchmen, it was a good movie.

Resident Evil (Redemption?)

Beautifully animated, and really amazing overall...
Made me love zombie movies again.
