Unhappy I don't understand how this happened to me

Last night It was around 12:01PM and I was about to go to bed after talking with some of my friends on skype. I normally go to bed earlier even on the weekends because I have been trying to go to sleep when my body tells me too.

I think it was around 12:25PM that I was in my room getting ready for bed. As I covered myself with the sheets, I felt a bit uncomfortable with my pants on. I just didn't like wearing them so I pulled my briefs and underwear off (I normally wear two pairs because I'm a weirdo) and stuffed them underneath my sheets in the spot I always put them in. Once I wake up I normally put my pants back on. I remember most of the night and was not taking any medication or another substance that could have affected my memory.

When I woke up after a decent nights rest something wasn't right after I tried to lucid dream. Before I drifted into deep sleep I tried to tell my mind this one message that I was dreaming. I remember most of the dream and I wasn't very lucid (only for a second and it wasn't anything good) and I remember putting clothes on for the next morning with some family members that looked familiar but not exactly.

I woke up feeling normal on a early Sunday. I remember feeling like something wasn't right and I looked down and notice my underwear was on, even though I clearly remember not wearing anything below me when I went to bed. I was still in a daze and slowly looked to my left to see my boxers pretty much unmoved in the original position I placed them under the sheets. If I was sleep walking would not I have done it in a clumsy fashion?

I was very confused and didn't understand how it happened. My underwear was stuffed inside of my boxers so if I was sleep walking I would have to take them out and certainly move them away from my spot, not being able to move them back unless I was awake. I had no idea how I suddenly had my underwear on, nothing connected! I don't remember doing anything randomly in the middle of the night and I was for sure exhausted since I went a
bit late to bed when I was suppose to wake up around 8:30AM at the latest.

The last time that I even sleptwalk was when I was very young (possibly). I do not understand how suddenly I am sleepwalking now unless all those bad sleep habits are catching up on me. Personally, I don't even call this sleepwalking unless I really did get out of bed, but how would I know? I was apparently asleep!

I would just like to ask has anyone ever experienced something like this? And should I go to bed at a constant time everyday no matter what? Or is this just one night where I acted out in my dream? I am very confused and still am in a bit of shock at how I could have moved while dreaming or "asleep"

You were probably really tired and don't remember putting them on. Maybe you had a dream that made you feel uncomfortable.

When you wake up, try laying in one spot without moving and try remembering your dream.
I'm not sure if this helps, but if it does.. Your welcome

I think one part of my dream did my make me a bit uncomfortable, I probably just don't remember it or it was something that sort of forced a thought into my mind that made me want to get dressed lol.

anyway thanks for replying and sending a friend request too.

I once sleep walked but it took me a day to remember what happened. I took some clothes out of my closet like a zombie and threw them away in the trash! lol!

That's pretty cool Zamorye I have sleep walked once as well, and I woke up naked. On a chair. In my mom's bedroom. It was weird

I sleep walk a lot. Don't know if it is called sleepwalking, but I would be waken up by a family member for some reason, and tell them:"whatever, go away". lol, and in the morning they would tell me I did that and I have no idea!

Hehe! I think I did something similar when I was very young, like five or six years old.

      This is not the end!

      1. half of the times I set the alarm, I wake up with no memory of turning it off, even when I put it far away so I'd have to stand up and walk! I assure you the alarm actually rings and wakes me!

      2. A while ago, I had a dream of getting off my bed to go to the bathroom. In the dream, something caught my attention in the room, and suddenly, I woke up standing in the same position(standing)! My brother was who caught my attention, and of course he wasn't there anymore(just an assurance to show that I was actually dreaming!)!
