+ ski competition in a box

+ getting a commemorative coin engraved with our names at a fair

+ putting the little kid to sleep: kissing him goodnight, then taking him to the bathroom when it becomes clear his diaper is full

(late, back to sleep victory)

+ getting on a bus at a prison officially going to Canada but really going to the US, going to the US is "just a detour" but is the real purpose of the bus

+ (DO) the concert at the international border: two bands are playing, one on each side of the border, at the same time, the Canadian MP threatens that any MP from "KaNAHda" found on the other side of the border will be declared a traitor

+ (lucid, 1st and 2nd level): on computer trying to figure out a stock price, look at keyboard, huge numbers of keys are missing, think "oh I'm TOTALLY dreaming!" throw a "fireball", check "finger through palm" for fun, fly up outside to admire view, zero in on some hot chicks; then keep waking and returning to sleep in the dream where I had a "WILD" and thought of how proud I'd be to report it to Sageous .

+ elevator in a (off-limits?) construction area, getting in with others it's a double-car elevator

+ sitting at a table in a restaurant with a group of guys, one friend, there's a plate of one-square-foot sized slices of cheese

+ driving past a caravan of yaks on the right side of the road, the yak shepherds are dishevelled and look kind of like yaks, too

+(f) in an art gallery?

+ meeting a middle-aged woman to play racquetball in the gym, we're late, she's not dressed yet to play, she decides to bail, I'm mad, I go look at the courts (with another guy), my ball has a bit split in it

+ washing my hands in a large sink in the middle of a room with others around, the woman (nun?) shows me the correct faucet (there were many) to use, and I rinse the soap off of my hands

+ in crowded store stepping over rectangular frames trying to get out of the way to "clear the traffic jam" (of people), people are buying huge square sheets of paper/plastic

+(f) cat with no head visible sleeping half off of cabinet and slowly slipping down

+(f) guy carrying a bucket with "WWW" and "Web" painted on opposite sides, I thought this was a clever/subtle/ironic joke about the internet

+ in car with wife driving, accident blocks our way, she takes a "short cut" side road which is horrendously terrifying (no guard rails, the road is twisted like a mobius strip, steep cliffs on either side), we stop at a safe spot and I walk ahead, find the freeway, enter a tour agency, see a dog which is just a head on feet.

I was in some futuristic space training program, but since I was fairly rebellious , they were going to inject me with some chemical to keep me from having dreams, but I broke the injection machine before they could do it.

My brother’s foot just … broke off somehow. But the parts were it broke of looked more like wood trenched in blood instead of bare flesh. But he didn´t seem to realize what happened to him. I told him: “Dude, how can you not notice that your foot fell off!?”
One reality check later I was like: “Oh, never mind.”

I don't remember what it was about but immediately upon waking, the song "Shots" was playing in my head.

Entered a world with lots of eerie dummies.

Semi-epic but forgot it, dang. Locks? Lockers? Lots of people, some conflict, stuff flying around?

+ I'm losing a ping-pong game (I'm usually playing against a stronger player) in low lighting, but it's my serve and I manage to bang out an amazing high-speed cross-table service ace.

edit: grabbed a nap and got a lot more recall:

+ in a locker room changing clothing with a friend: I'm all in yellow, he's all in red, decide to mix it up a little, it's like superhero costumes

+ observer: girl goes to club, she's dressed like the waitresses, instead of being mad she uses this to gain their confidence, behaves like one of them, and infiltrates

+ son walks in on me at an embarrassing moment

+ playing a text-based video game, pick up a free powerful wand, the monster owner chases after my character and I keep trying to run away from it and to fire it at the monster

+ giving a recommendation for a health club to a friend for a quick visit, "remember" one fancy club that accepts day visitors

+ the waitress brings my beer and puts it in front of me, (it's half-height, I think it looks pretty small) she says they "had to take more" from my card, I quiz her on why, I look at the receipt, they took $5 more because my name wasn't on the front of the card, I'm confused/mad

+ (semi-lucid) go up to a girl and kiss her, trying to combat my dream-end/transition reaction.

+ It turns out that I knew the "Mel" in "Mel's Drive-In"

Anotherdreamer turned into a female midget and showed me his (her?) deep underground dungeon, where he locked his family, untrustworthy friends, and otherworldly creatures for the rest of eternity.

I stole a car (BMW?), parked the car and went off somewhere, came back to the car...someone stole my stolen car. -.-

There is a certain kind of freedom you can feel when you can run like the wind and not get tired.

Running Hard

A non lucid where we had a high school band reunion. I have them a lot, annoying dream sign.

Don't knock those band reunions, things get interesting when you speak to the flute players ....

I've started having a lot of band/orchestra dreams recently too, mostly me being entirely awesome playing fast scales, etc.

+ in a hut trying to light an alcohol lamp, it starts burning fiercely and loudly like a flare and explodes, I feel the tiny shards of glass hitting all over me

+ the teacher does not accept my (very short) story submission and gives me 10 minutes to write more, I make up something about digging in the mines, and end up writing sideways vertically bottom-up the right margin of the paper and then on to the bedspread

+ working on a spreadsheet program with my wife

+ (DO) a story about a family business where they meet together early every morning outside

+ the boy doesn't give the girl the book (of love stories?) he was writing for her, it didn't turn out the way he wanted, they're both disillusioned with each other, an unhappy ending, he remembers the good ol' days when he'd hop from platform to platform on the roof, doing his martial arts training, woke depressed after that

Lol fryingman, always loved that scene.

I played french horn. Well, mellophone during marching season, and Bb french horn in concert season <<<<<< band nerd!!

I had to replace the guitarist from my favorite band for a gig, but I couldn't find the entrance to the stage, so I ran through the whole venue multiple times until I almost couldn't run anymore so I flew through the hallways and I didn't become lucid....... f***! Cool dream though.

Someone had the opinion that lawnmowers are the center of all human technology and we should visit our neighbors with them.

Enough of this low recall, vague dream crap: I set strong bedtime intention despite late hour to remember dreams, have vivid dreams, wake up after dreams, and be lucid in dreams. Some awesome early vivid non-lucids, a hard-fought back to sleep victory, more vivid non-lucids, and got a TOTM DILD!

(earlier)

+(f) I'm Spock on Star Trek speaking with my clones, tearfully explaining that I'll sacrifice myself so that they may continue on (much more but forgot)

+ lying on the ground in a house, cutie (LW) walks by, I hope she'll get with me, she stops and sits down beside me, but someone else is there and nothing happens

+ we're trying to get the passenger jet airplane out of the building: there's no way it will fit through the door, but it morphs itself and collapses its wings as it moves through the doorway in order to fit, that's a pretty cool I think

+ I'm preparing for battle: I throw knives but mostly full sized swords at the wood wall, almost all of them stick in point first perfectly, I think about how many rotations they'll go through mid-air.

+ flooded kitchen from bathroom above, run upstairs to investigate, Will Smith is naked in the bed, black girl "verifies his ID" by (kissing him?) a tiny Will Smith head in a pot chastises him and does a short rap rhythm.

+ trying to figure out what's going on with the shelves in this refrigerator, notice a strange tube, get lucid, do pumpkin TOTM (open a pumpkin and describe the contents)

+ invited to a friend's house for an event, it's awkward because I don't know anyone there, tables full of platters of cookies, the middle-aged guys are sitting on the living room floor drinking beer, there's a previously-played monopoly board next to them

+ I'm playing a game on a PC then inside the game, trying to equip weapon/armor from the confusing pop-up controls, choose "enter this place" to explore instead of going to the fight, it's like a kitchen with hundreds of "inspect this" signs on objects everywhere.

+ In sons's room, (the cat?) spills a bottle on his important schoolwork on the floor, then liquid starts welling out from somewhere, I tell him to pick his work up before it's ruined.

I got mad and walked off the reality show because I was tired of the mind games.

OK, medium recall night, definitely "present" moments

+ working out in a gym, checking out hot girls

+ WTF TIME IS IT THIS WATCH KEEPS CHANGING!? (this went on for a whole minute) (and I *missed* it) (ಠ_ಠ)

+ major celebration, kids are up early, old folks come in later

+ the walrus god tells me it's OK, as I lie across his large body and sob that I made a mistake with the world-seed (O_o)

despite the drastically late bedtime (4am, long story), I had a number of dreams but because I moved too much most were lost except this one:

+(f) lord of the rings adventure?

+ (DO flying around) fake mountain viewing resort: there are sets for a scene from Lake Tahoe, volcanoes, etc., there's a church where they must change the wine once a week or it would freeze, jutting stone outcroppings are decorated with fake mist

(late morning)
+ (lucid) I appear as if in a closet in my childhood room, rub hands, enter dream, go downstairs, look around in living room, fail in finding fantasy instrument, go out on deck, amazed at the lights, hilarious visual day residue from video game, fly up in to the air, decide to go looking for girls in neighboring houses, lose flight control, dream goes black.

+ (semi?) kiss a girl thinking about maintaining the dream, get in a couple really nice lip touches

+ (FA?) I'm in bed with hands rubbing, my hands are touching, I wake later with hands separate, probably FA.

+ (lucid) appear in childhood home kitchen, think about finding a waffle to eat, look into dining room/living room, there are wine bottles everywhere, that must have been quite a party

+ in current-day home in bedroom, whole family is in the room, I think I'm awake because my wife is talking about an errand I know she has to do in waking life today, she's talking about why she believes (an unpleasant situation we're in) is from hell.

- I was kidnapped and tried to kill the two robbers with a really big knife. Then went for help but thought they could be robbers too.
- Trying to kill some sort of dragon with a sharp stone.
- Lunch with college friends.
