"I'm trying to watch Clash of the Titans and all I can hear is the two of them screaming about Morris Day at the top of their lungs."
I've only remembered my reflection once, and I looked younger and I had longer hair than I do in real life. Have you ever tried to walk through it? Pretty fun, try it if you remember. |
|
I'll definitely try that if I remember. I wasn't lucid so I had no control, but you'd think seeing an old man in the mirror would make me stop and say hmmm...well that's not right. |

I have only had two mirror dreams that I recall. |
|
I went into a mirror. Turned me and everyone around me into kids. I looked at another mirror while in a mirror, and say my unchanged self with glowing yellow eyes, I just walked around a bit more then the dream snapped me back to before I went in. |
|
In one of my first lucids I was climbinb a sky scraper and noticed my reflection in the glass. It looked perfectly normal and I was so suprised by the level of detail that I accidently leaned in and bumped my head on the glass and fell back down a few stories. |
|
One time I was taking a nap, which ending quickly. I looked in the mirror, and I was also old. I had a mole on my forehead. It scared me so much, that I screamed and woke up. So basically I had a nightmare. :p |
|
I glanced at a mirror while going somewhere. I looked normal, but blurry since I was hurrying. |

Yes, I have. Each time it meant something special. I would know myself. |

I have only seen myself in the mirror. Every time, it seems to signify a turning point in my life--beyond which I have seen nothing. |

I've dreamed of looking in the mirror quite often. It isn't usually a lucid dream, although it has triggered lucidity before because the reflection is never right. It always looks like me, but with exaggerated features. |

"Keep on dreaming boy, 'cause when you stop dreaming it's time to die"
In one of my first LDs I was wondering around my house and looked in the bathroom mirror. I looked suprisingly... normal. I was expecting to look disfigured or something. It was an amazing experience. Is it not the exact same thing as "Residual Self-Image" from The Matrix? |

In the mirror my hair was a medium brown (my hair's actually black) and a little longer than it is now (it was just above the waist). My skin was more tan than it usually is (light olive). My eyes were hazel instead of light green/blue with gold flecks. My cheekbones were sharper, my eyes had shadows around them... I was frowning too, although my friends say I do it without realising (thanks for your genes, dad...). Then suddenly the image blurred and I waved my arms around, but my reflection didn't move at all. It should have been creepy but I found it kinda funny. |
|
I was looking at myself in the mirror in my dream this morning. I have short darkish brown hair in real life, and in my dream I had long blackish hair. And my face looked a little different. I kept making different looks in the mirror. It wasn't lucid either. |

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

I was in a warehouse with nothing but a table and a full body mirror. One of the ones that has legs. Then I looked into the mirror and I was wearing a different outfit. It made me excited. I laughed about it, I was so excited that I kicked the table with my shin and made it crash into the ceiling. |

Every time I see myself on a mirror I see... myself! There is no distortion really. |

Heh, my first recalled nightmare involves looking into a mirror. It was a rather frightening morph from my normal reflection into a skeleton, which promptly left the mirror and chased me. I think I was something around 6 or so at the time, since then I haven't recalled looking in a mirror ever again. |

Havent been on here in a while, actually was looking to start a similar thread after my various tests of self perception. |

The mirror is the window to the soul. There is a certain technique of the looking glass. |

In the process of realizing the dream, abandon all feeling of fear; And, if the dream be of fire, transform the fire into water, the antidote of fire. And if the dream be of minute objects, transform them into large objects; Or if the dream be of large objects, transform them into small objects: Thereby one comprehendeth the nature of dimensions.
And if the dream be of a single thing, transform it into many things; Or if the dream be of many things, transform them into a single thing. - Tibet
When I walked through, I fell into a black void, but could see the dream on top on me, getting smaller as I fell through the darkness, like how if you glitch a level in a video game and fall through. I landed in another dream in the past though. In that dream I went looking for another mirror and found one, as I was falling through this void again, I woke up. I thought it was going to take me into another dream like the first, or else I would have spun. |

In my first LD I was in my hallway, in front of the bathroom door. When I glanced in the bathroom and looked at the mirror, I just saw a bunch of colorful shapes. |
