Food in Lucid Dreams?

Ive been wondering about this for a while, so how is your sense of taste in dreams? is it the same as in real life or not at all, do foods taste different or strange, and is taste different in lucid/non-lucids? ive tried to test it out myself but the dream was pretty crappy in quality and i woke up before i found something to eat.

I've only ever drank a coke, it tasted better than in real life. The same flavor but better consistency, no high-fructose. And I was super thirsty and it was the perfect temperature. It was really satisfying while I drank it but a few minutes later I was still thirsty.

hey I once made weed tea on a charcoal grill, in real life. it was pretty retarded but it worked. if you already had some cannabutter I think you could put it in an easy bake.

One time I opened a drawer and found some gum. Hubba bubba max watermelon, to be exact. I popped it in my mouth, closed the drawer, opened it, and found some more gum. I then repeated this process. Profit.

I've drank milk and ate chocolate cake (best stuff I've ever eaten), a hot dog, and other stuff. It all tasted normal or better than normal. So to answer your question, yep, the sense of taste in LDs can be very good. Just don't go around expecting food to taste horrible, because chances are if you think that, it will.

I've eaten chocolate in a dream once. It was good, too. Once in a lucid dream I tried eating a tree branch. It didn't taste like anything.

oh and anyone know how taste is compared to lucids/non-lucids? once in a non-lucid i was stuck in an ice cream freezer, it tasted like icecream, but the taste was not that strong and wasnt like real icecream. i wanted to compare next time i got lucid but my alarm went off after i teleported to the grocery store.

I've tasted amazing candy chocolate and it always tastes great! Have had two fanta lemon's and they tasted awesome, even better than in real life. Food is often very tasty in my dreams, and same goes for lucids.

I want to drink fanta orange in my next lucid, now. >_<
And yeah, food often tastes amazing in dreams. I'm not sure whether it's better or not, but it's pretty close.

Yeah you totally should! Food does taste great, but there's something special with sour things. Perhaps it's because I'm so fond of them, but I can also be because that unpleasant extreme sourness isn't there in dreams. Has anyone something else to recommend to try?

one time I ate something in lucid dream that I'd never eaten in real life... never even heard of or seen in real life. I could taste it, but it didn't taste like anything I'd ever had before. I don't know how to explain it. It was quite interesting.
