Thread: Why the hell...

... is it that when you walk through a wall it feels like cake? Someone once said this and whenever I do it I get the same sensation!

Is it just that because walls are heavy and thick we get that stodgy feeling as we melt through them?

I'd imagine it's because, as you say, our perception of walls is that they are solid, heavy and thick. But it will only feel like this if we expect it to feel like that in the dream. If I fall asleep and I *fully* expect to walk through walls made of apple juice, it will probably feel that way.

Haven't walked through a wall yet and never thought of it that way. Now I'm pretty sure my first "wall experience" is going to be cake...ish. Hmm

If it feels like cake, it must taste like cake, next time you lucid eat the wall like its cake. This is very interesting, When I get lucid I have to try this out.

When I pass through walls I can't feel anything really, unless it is breaking them, then they will feel like walls <.<

I found about about the cake thing after I walked through a wall and agreed, not the other way around. Like the idea of eating the cake walls though. :p

Somehow, I'm imagining Majin Buu eating style <.<

Strange, when I go through walls it feels like the material the wall is made of, or like nothing at all.
For example: I put my hand through a stone wall, and it felt rough, like the sensation of stone around my hand.

Noooo! Now I'm sure to dream about this. This is like the, "don't think of an elephant" thing.

Very interesting about the jell-o. I think the base of the sensation is still there though; that viscous feeling.

Now I am going to turn into Majin Buu in my dream and start turning people into cake, chocolate and make a house out of dairy treats. Then be really evil and turn some dream characters brain into jell-o and see if it has any effect.

Ew.. now I also want to mess with the brains of dream characters. Might accidentally cause zombies though... ideas, ideas.

The internet told me the cake was a lie. =/
