Flying help!

Im scared that if I'm in a dream and I do a reality test and the result comes that Im dreaming. Im kind of scared to just jump off a building because what if I die ?

If you do a reality check, it is always so obvious it's a dream, you don't even consider the possibility that it will hurt or kill you. Almost like if you are playing a game and you jump off a building. You know it won't hurt, because it isn't real. Plus you will be so caught up in the moment I doubt you will even think of this.

You can't die jumping off a building in a dream and you don't have to jump off anything. Just practice on the ground, if jumping off things is too scary. There are some flying techniques and dream control somewhere in the tutorials.

I don't know how to make you not scared. But if you want flying advice, the best advice I can give you is to just fly. Find a ledge/window and just jump. No thinking aloud.

I take if you haven't had any lucids yet? Cause trust me... once you can breathe through your pinched-shut nose or push your finger through your palm, you get a surge of joy to know you're dreaming and you'll leap gladly off any building knowing nothing can harm you.

I would suggest you try levitating first after your rc. Then when you begin to levitate you'll gain confidence and this will reassure you that your dreaming and jumping off cliffs will be a walk in the park . And no it is impossible to die. You'll either just get back up on your feet or maybe just wake up in real life.

Yeh, it's blindingly obivous you're dreaming when you realise, don't sweat it man. And remember, confidence, when you're attempting to fly. Or if it really worries you, try from the ground?

Relax! If you become lucid, you'll probably get caught up in the moment and won't have second thoughts on flying. And yes, it's obvious when you're in a dream if you reason things out to yourself or simply look around. If you do end up jumping off a building or something else in the dream, without doing an RC, it means you're lucid but not quite aware enough to care whether you're asleep or awake. But aren't most dreams like that - you're not aware at all, so you end up doing stupid/weird/crazy things?

If it's a dream, your only gonna wake up if you die. Flying techniques I've have been making Iron Man boots, or obtaining a gift which will allow you to fly, this will give you confidence in the dream that you can fly, and if you can fly, then you ain't gonna die!
