How you are new to lucid dreaming I think that isn't a good idea, sex in LDs are very hard to control, but if you dont mind waking up sometimes I think it's something to try. The vividness is like a common LD, if you did the stabilization right it can be as real as real life

Hate to break it to you, but if you want to become lucid just to have sex, you're not going to have any luck. Not only is sex something very hard to sustain in a lucid dream, it's also very volatile. You could be having sex and all of the sudden the person you're having sex with turns into your sister, for example.

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.

No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.

Don't listen to them you can have all the sex you want in your LDs. I did last night actually. Just make sure you first learn to stabilize your dreams and keep your sex drive from effecting your lucidity.

I would say for beginners, it is extremely difficult to have sex in an LD. MAybe practice getting good LDs before attempting sex, and even then it's hard (pun intended) even for advanced LDers. I think because of the excitement, or physical changes or whatever, you wake up.

      Believe me, I've tried!

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper

      ^ This

Its a very personal thing, so don't let anybody here discourage you, some find it easier than others. But with enough stabilization it can be done.

If the thought of her pops into your mind at a time like that, perhaps, but nothing like that ever happened to me.

So If this is your current dream goal, I would say go for it! The sky is the limit, uhm well, you could also do it in space off course.

Stabilization is something you do to keep your dream intact and remain in it longer.

This tutorial should help: Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Read over that Stabilization Tutorial (located in the DreamViews WIKI) and see if it helps you gain some control.

okeey, but if you do the stabilization part right

okeey, but if you do the stabilization part right, does it feel like real life, walking around in the city, feel your jeans against your legs, hear car horns and sirens, conversing with other people, be able to breath and blink and swallow etc etc. because i read everywhere that you have like more fingers, being able to push a finger through your hand and you have a blur vision and stuf, that doesnt sound vivid to me im reallly really excited and i hope i can get good answers both from beginners and experianced lucid dreamers. thank you for all the good answers !!

Yes of course, it can even feel more real than real life.

How real it feels mainly depends on your dreams and the typical level of detail you experience.

I tend to be hyper-aware of my surroundings while awake. I attribute this mainly to having great vision and two kids that I'm always having to keep an eye open and an ear tuned for, though I suppose I was like this most of my life.

Your awareness while awake will often translate into your dreams. The more you pay attention to the fine details while awake the more they will appear while asleep. The same goes for lucidity.

There is no guarantee that you will see more fingers or less than normal. We typically perform actions without looking at our hands and this is likely why it's hard to view them accurately in dreams. Most of our motions are automatic while our vision concentrates on what's ahead of us or nearby rather than what is in our hands or our fingers themselves.

      It is vividly realistic.

Just a quick comment... last time I checked I had 10 fingers in my LD... although awhile back I had 4 or 6 on a hand... must be getting more accurate as I LD more.
