Thumbs up Lucid Appreciation (I Feel Impossible)

I feel like we all should take some time to really give thanks to lucid dreaming... You know, lately the meaning of "dreaming" has really changed for me. It's no longer this idle unconscious cycle that occurs every night. Learning lucid dreaming has made it so damn intriguing. Something to look forward to! No; Not just "something'' to look forward to, but literally a whole other fucking planet to look forward too! NO; A whole other universe! An ENTIRE new dimension to throw my eager soul into and let it sprawl out along the vast dreamscape! I don't know if it's dawned on you yet, but the fact that we can literally do ANYTHING we want in this altered dimension is mind boggling. Think about it. ANYTHING. I've walked across water and lifted cancerous plagues from my dream characters.... JESUS does that! I've experienced what its like to be JESUS! Do you understand how fucking glorious that is!!!! Even better, I've become a Jedi and used the force to make a bridge of rocks across the sky which lead me to the atmospheric barrier of our planet, then broke through it with the hammer of Thor just to swim my way through space at the speed of light and step foot on a foreign planet. Did you read that?? I WAS A JEDI THAT GOT TO WIELD THE HAMMER OF THOR. And it was vivid!!!!!!.... I just have to sit down every other day and take some time to myself, so i can lay back in awe over lucid dreaming. Literal awe. Have you ever really been in awe over something in your waking life lately? I'm sure there are a few incredible life moments that really leave you in gasping shock and amazement. But come on... I was a fucking Jedi for crying out loud. I've BEEN IN SPACE!! BALLS out! No space helmet! I've saved people! I've died! I've been shot, burned, and stabbed! I've levitated! I've walked through walls! I've FLOWN! I've banged the finest women across the planet! I've met musical legends! I've met scientific legends! I've met mythic legends! I've been a legend!!! I've seen my darkest and brightest sides. I've accomplished the impossible. I've seen the impossible. And I sure do feel impossible... All thanks to Lucid Dreaming .

      Thank You Lucid Dreaming

I love posts like these; so true and pure! As I read what you have written I can feel your excitement and passion and I just love it. I have the same feeling myself but it's not a feeling you can express face to face with friends or family without them looking at you like you're crazy but they just don't understand. I think if everyone could understand the way that we feel and realize the possibilities of literally having your own universe to do anything you could possibly imagine in, they wouldn't look at you like a weirdo but just smile in awe with you.

Damn good post. I love lucid dreaming.

So true, I am certain that it has helped out so many people either to solve problems or just get away from troubles they may have in the waking state.. So yes! Thank you lucid dreaming!

Thank you so much! You're 100% right, the majority of people don't understand lucid dreaming and therefore can't relate. In a sense, I kind of like it this way though. It feels good to be a lucid dreamer before the majority of culture tries it out and it becomes a well known thing. Not to sound like a hipster but it gives me a sense of feeling different from the crowd . Though, I do feel like lucid dreaming is on the rise and its starting to become a more prevalent thing in society. It's being talked about more at least and that's good

This is a great re-motivation thread.
I tend to get a little blaze and cynical at times, so it's nice to read some unfiltered excitement, to remind me what great experiences I can have.

      What a great post...

This just makes me want to have long, vivid LDs so much more. Instead of wasting a third of a my life, I want to make it the most amazing time spent ever! I can't quite seem to get it though... But this will keep me going, so thank you!

What a great post, DalaBudz. This really captures the essence of what keeps me so motivated and excited to lucid dream. I even got to rip off a couple of ideas for my own list of long-term goals. I mean, escaping Earth's clutches using the Hammer of Thor? Don't mind if I do!

You don't post often, but when you do it's usually a really dynamite post like this one. Great stuff.

I have always had this feeling. Some people think that I only get lucid to cower from reality, but they're wrong. I get lucid for not only the thrills, but to better my waking life. I cannot tell you how many times I have successfully conquered a day with no anxiety because of an amazing dream. It adds hidden beauty to everyday things.

Exactly! It's incredibly self healing, and reflective. In fact it's so reflective that you see the actual god within you. The actual strength and power that you posses! And your so right about how it adds beauty to every thing. Every little detail and moment that occurs in my waking life seems much more vivid. It makes everything seem unreal, yet so damn real at the same time

Yeah, me too... I had 1 lucid dream but it was more on the lucky side.
Can't wait to have them frequently. It would be so awesome, I'm so excited by just thinking about it. I just need to find the right technique for me.

I couldn't agree with you more. It seems that you've definitely had more lucid dreaming experiences that I've had, but even I, who am in many ways still a newbie to the art of lucid dreaming, can see that wild potential that we've been gifted with. This was a great thread, by the way. Very heartfelt.

Thanks! My post is a symbol of passion, and passion for lucid dreaming goes an extremely long way. I'm glad that I'm able to show people the truth in that just by putting my passion into words

This was nice to read. Thanks for posting this up for us all. Sometimes people get demotivated, or demoralised, because they aren't seeing a lot of progress in their chosen technique. It can be posts like this that bring them back and make them more determined to continue their journey. I'm glad you've found so much joy from lucid dreaming. Thanks again!

Lucid dreaming cured me of my social anxiety and avoidant personality disorder. All I did was say, "subconscious, speak to me!" And this figure came down from the sky. You could tell it was all powerful, but it wouldn't hurt me. He waved his arms and The dream disappeared and it was just me, and, what I think, was my subconscious. I asked, "please, cure me of these disorders" he said, "it's for your own good, they're dangerous." I just said, to this all powerful being, who was getting angry, "trust me.".

The next day, I woke up, and it was amazing. Lucid dreaming improved my life so much, and since, not only am I cured, I don't hate anyone and don't care what anyone thinks of me. I could go out into the street in horrible clothes and start singing, and I wouldn't feel embarrassed lucid dreaming made me into a better person.

This was an amazing, inspiring post! Pretty much sums up the way I feel about lucid dreams.

We have opened ourselves to these whole other worlds (infinite worlds - only limited by our imagination), while billions of others don't care or have no clue. They have tv, movies, books, but we get to actually live it. It's the most liberating, incredible feeling, and I have a strange sort of sympathy for them that they will never know what it's like. We're making use of this natural gift and get to experience a multitude of lives and meet whoever we want, be whoever we want, do whatever we want.

And to those who are trying, don't give up! You've recognized what is available to you and are on the right track already. I wish you all the best!

That's really awesome!! Lucid dreaming cured my social anxiety too! Not the same way it did for you though. Lucid dreaming just showed me how limitless the world is and how limitless I AM . That totally dropped all my fears! It feels good, I can totally relate!
