So, this just happened this morning. My first attempt with WBTB.
I went to sleep around 1 AM last night and set my phone to go off at 5:05 AM. I don't know if it was because I had been anticipating it, but I remember before I actually heard my phone alarm go off, I was thinking about it in my dream. Anyways, it starts ringing, I wake up, check my phone and grab a little candy bar to snack on. I sat in bed for about half an hour on DreamViews then took a Choline supplement and turned off my light.
At this point I noticeably didn't feel the effects I normally do. No spacey, weird feeling in my head, and no quick numbness. I had a hard time not feeling itchy and eventually I fell asleep with a slight numbness in my feet and hands but it was hardly anything. Who knows, maybe I just wanted to be convinced that they were numb.
So I had this non-lucid dream. I won't get too into it because it probably isn't appropriate but I will say there was some sexual stuff between me and a girl. During all of this, I hear her parents upstairs in their house/apartment/I don't know, so I think I should go. I tell her to go grab my pants and she leaves the room, and then next thing I notice...POOF! A pair of shorts appear on the floor.
I realize I'm dreaming, and immediately begin to spin around. Everything blurs and as I come to a halt, I find myself lying in bed. Now this is the confusing part. I don't know whether or not I dreamed part of this or it was entirely sleep paralysis. It may have been a couple seconds of a false awakening and then sleep paralysis but here's what happened.
I was lying on my side, completely paralyzed and I suppose I hallucinated a cat being by my bed. Now, I really have two cats but this one was orange and both of mine are black. I then thought I heard my Dad talking outside my room to someone (We live alone) about how he knew I had just had a lucid dream. I looked at the clock twice during all of this by the way and the time was 7:45 both times, so I knew I was awake.
It was very interesting, the only bummer was that once I snapped out of SP, it felt as if it were a distant dream versus something that had just happened ten minutes ago. Sorry for the huge post!
