Red face Hello! Looking for a great dream community

Hi there! New to DV, but I have been Journaling for at least 15 years now. (Yikes, that sounds like such a long time. I feel old. :[ ) I didn't know much about Lucid dreaming before, aside from enjoying a good Leo DiCaprio movie. I then found a thread in a forum I used to frequent, and voila! I now practice, or try to practice Lucid dream training. I had LDs before my discovery, I just was extremely confused as to what exactly they were.

I have been here and there, searching for an active community where I can talk about Dreams and LDs. I think DV fits the bill! As my name implies, I can be Lazy with my training, but I think if I were to talk about dreaming, it will inspire me to keep practicing.

I DILD'd when I first began training and, yes, I got alot of good results! My primary issue right now is keeping my recall up. Its like exercise. Train on the treadmill all you like, but if you drop your workout to only 1 time a week running, you're never going to make progress. Next for me would be getting back into waking world reality checks more consistently.

Funny thing is, now when I go Lucid, or happen to, the dream reality checks stay with me. So I am glad for that. It really helps in keeping you grounded :]
