I just slept for pretty much 12 hours straight. A little too long, but I kind of feel like the last week has been one long day. I'm still stressed, but at least it feels bearable now. |

Textbook prices are fucking ridiculous, here at least, and I swear they're increasing every year. I bought two this semester (and a third, $30 student solutions manual) and the total came to: |

Lol, my physics text book was around $250 at the school store when I could have got it from amazon for $150. |
|
Lmao. There aren't e-books for the ones I need. |

I bought two AP biology textbooks last year for AP bio, which I ended up having to drop because the school's stupidly-arranged schedule put the class up against art, which I had to take instead. I then bought more textbooks for AP chemistry this year, which I also ended up dropping, down to regular chemistry. I figured I could still use them in regular, so I kept them instead of returning them... A couple days later I dropped chem entirely and took art again. x_x Hundred and fifty-something dollars down the drain. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Eh, nevermind. I'm taking out my bitchiness in IRC! |

Oh textbooks.... memories. The worst thing is when you don't use them even once and the teacher photocopies shit from the book for some reason. |
|
Yeah, that happens too often. Not this time though. |

Thank you, Dianeva for saying "Math" instead of "Maths" Also, why do you Canadians (?) say '... I'm going to University' instead of 'I'm going to A University (or THE etc). Then again, we say we're going to College (not A or The). Why is that? Now I'm confused lol |

My guess would be because your blood pressure was so low. That's definitely why you were nauseous and dizzy, and having it that low can cause anxiety that can make you feel like your heart is beating that fast. Lowering blood pressure is actually one of the ways that smoking too much weed (mostly for beginners or people who've overdone it) can cause panic attacks and short fainting spells, and weed anxiety is like 99% of the time about how your heart is beating way too hard and too fast when it's really going just slightly above normal, like yours was. |
|
I don't know about the University thing. This is the first I've heard that non-Canadians don't say "going to University." It's the same as "going to college," "going to church," etc. It's just how it's said. |
