Zhaylin: E-cigarettes? Did you use to smoke cigarettes?
I'm planning on quitting smoking on the 1st of January as part of my new years resolutions. I'm not looking forward to it hahaha.
I just kind of somehow ended up smoking at some point during university. It's incredibly easy to get hooked into. All the stress of exams and studying and writing assignments, and EVERYONE smokes at uni.

Good luck! I've been a smoker over 10 years now (started super young) and it's so tough. I've recently gotten free patches and gum and e-vapors or whatever. Florida gives out free patches and gum so that's how I got my first batches of those. The gum really irritates my mouth and throat.
How are you going to go about it? Any aids like the gum etc? any Apps to keep progress?

Nah when I've quit in the past I just quit cold turkey. It sucks for the first 48 hours but then you pretty much just get over it. I'm not a big fan of the philosophy of replacing one method of receiving your drug fix with another. If it works for other people then that's great, it's just not really my style. I find that the biggest factor in quitting is that you simply have to have the will power and the legitimate desire to stop. If that's there then you're golden. It sounds silly and it is of course a simplification, but all you have to do to quit smoking is quit smoking. If you say no every time you have that craving (and endure 30 seconds of being uncomfortable) then you've already won. Typically where I fail is when university starts back up and I'm around all my friends that smoke and exam stress starts piling up, etc. But this time I feel will be different. There's a bunch of other stuff I'm trying to improve on at the moment, and I'm considering my journey to quit smoking as kind of tangible to all my other goals. It'll be like a demonstration to myself of my dedication to improve. But hey, only time will tell how I go.

      Rant:

Kidney stones seem to be coming in and I am worried the fuck out. My dad got kidney stones not 5 years ago and he still remarks about how much pain he had trying to get them to pass. And here I am, with my obscenely worse diet, almost unable to stand up correctly. This is gonna be a tough one...

Hopefully I can hold out until tomorrow to go to the doctor's office and maybe get something that can pulverize it into nice grains of sand.

Good luck on that new years resolution yuppie, tis a good yin!

I've given up smoking a few times for varying lengths of time. Cold turkey worked just fine for me. Then vaping became really big, now that's my go-to stop smoking tool. Which I'll be going back to soon. I just love all the flavours, it's way better than fags.

EDIT: Jdoggad: damn man that sucks hard. Good luck with that

Oh yeah, did I ever smoke. I started when I was about 12. By the time I was 18, I was smoking upwards of 4 packs a day.
I quit for 8 years. I started with the patch, but it annoyed me that I was replacing one thing with another, so I stopped and hibernated for a week (I was on a trip out of State).
Then life and bad choices threw me a BUNCH of crap and drama, so I picked my "old friend" back up. I was back to 4 packs a day in no time.
When I was finally ready to quit again, I couldn't. Willpower didn't do anything for me, lol, neither the patches nor Chantix (or whatever it's called).

Then I picked up vaping. I started with the ones they sell at gas stations, with the unscrewable tops that you add liquid to, as well as Blu. Those irritated me. Quality control was all over the place. Then I got a Volcano brand e-cig and it was wonderful until the company sold out and quality control went to pot. After that, I got my first "mod". It was an e-leaf and I loved it.
Now, I've "evolved" some more and I want to start building my own coils because they're less expensive and work better.
Over the 3 years or so I've been vaping, I've dropped my nic down from 18 to 10mg. "Throat hit" is very essential for me and the less nicotine, the less hit you get. But certain coils and different heat settings can delivery that hit without the nicotine (or so I've been told).

Flavor is key. It's one of the biggest reasons I grumble about bans. To use e-cigs to stop smoking, the secret is finding a flavor you absolutely love. Cigarettes will taste like absolute shite after that and it's easy to throw them out

JDoggad, My daughter just went through that. She had one that had to be surgically removed. My son gets them from time to time. He's lived through them. It mostly messes with his blood pressure and he feels really sick, then he passes it and he's okay. Hope you pass yours with ease.

Rave: I downloaded some mods for my zombie game. My goodness are they wonderful!! One of the mods I love though is glitchy as heck. I ran some 2 miles up a mountain to investigate a "Space Needle" type building. Once I got close, it disappeared. It came back as soon as I put distance between us again The other mod is extra tough. Absolutely everything will kill you They even added bandits (something the official developers have struggled with which is why they're not in the game yet).

Rants: I hurt. My knee and ankle ached early on during my walk the other night. Now both as slightly swollen but extremely sore. One of my wrists also hurt () I sometimes hold my hands in my sleep but I squeeze them hard (aren't we supposed to be paralyzed in our sleep? How can I squeeze anything ). When I do that, my hands hurt so much I can barely separate them. I don't know if the wrist pain is from that or something else. But it's weird. And annoying
I've also eaten way too much real food. I've been constipated for a week now
AND, I still have that rash on my shoulder... and it spread further out to where I had bandaids over it a few days ago (I've never broken out from bandaids before so what the heck?). But it does seem to be getting better. I've been putting Cortisone 10 on it regularly.

      Back to my game....

I found an early draft of an offical sceenplay for a sequel to "Finding Nemo." It is dated October 26, 2005. Apparently it is a complete story and it is a bit different to "Finding Dory." I'm sure I will have fun reading it! I am writing a synopsis as I read so I can share the story with those who don't want to read the screenplay. http://www.raindance.co.uk/site/pict...ing_nemo_2.pdf

Edit:I finished reading the screenplay and wrote a synopsis of it. It is like finding a secret story. It would probably be named "Finding Marlin" or something like that. I think the story is average at best, but it does include many more dolphins than "Finding Nemo" or "Finding Dory" which of course makes me happy.

According to wordcounter.net, the estimated reading time of this synopsis is 6 minutes and 29 seconds. (1785 words)
Spoiler for synopsis of "Finding Marlin":

Two clown fish, Marlin and Coral, are in a grotto, excited about the many children they are about to have. They go into an anemone. A barracuda arrives and attacks the eggs, creating a current which slams Marlin against the anemone, leaving him unconscious. Marlin wakes up, finds only one egg left, and names it “Nemo.” An egg he didn’t find survives and ends up safely in another grotto along with a pile of Fighting Fire fish eggs.

Nemo goes to school, where the kids want him to once again tell them about his adventures in Sydney. Dory, whose memory is getting a bit better, goes out for a swim and finds a bottlenose dolphin named Percy, who is lost. She learns he was recently released from a boat by humans who work for Planet Blue, a large marine animal amusement park, and is being tracked via a transmitter on his dorsal fin.

Nemo and another young clownfish, Remy, come across each other and examine each other curiously. They mimic each others moves. Remy thinks Nemo is a long lost brother of his. Marlin arrives, sees Remy’s resemblance to Coral, and confirms that Remy is a long lost brother of Nemo. As Nemo and Remy get to know each other, they become competitive and try to one-up each other. Remy is stronger, but Nemo is smarter. They become jealous of each other.

It is Nemo and Remy's birthday. Marlin hosts a birthday party and seems to favor Remy’s idea of what game to play first. Nemo gets angry and swims off. Remy catches up and Nemo fights him. Marlin catches up and breaks up the fight. Remy gets angry and swims off. A boats propeller churns the water around the around the trio, confusing them. Percy speeds towards Remy while trying to escape a net coming from the boat. Remy can’t move because he is frozen in fear. Marlin pushes Remy aside but slams into Percy. The net captures Percy and Marlin and is lifted up into the boat, which speeds off.

Dory finds Nemo and Remy and they tell her what happened. Dory remembers that Percy is being tracked by Planet Blue. Dory, somehow being familiar with Planet Blue, knows where the boat is headed. She leads Nemo and Remy as they head off to where Planet Blue is located.

At Planet Blue, Marlin and Percy are put in a dolphin tank and the transmitter is removed from Percy’s fin. They see some dolphins performing in a show while others are preparing for it.

Dory, Nemo, and Remy arrive at the bay in Australia next to which Planet Blue is located. Remy finds a large intake pipe leading into the park. They get too close to it and are sucked in towards a motor. They manage to make it back out of the pipe with the help of a branch that lodged in it, temporally reducing the suction.

Dory finds an outflow pipe and suggests they try to swim through it. Nemo tries to swim into it, but the current going out the pipe is too strong. Determined to show off his strength to Remy, Nemo tries to make it through the pipe, gets too tired and collapses onto the seafloor. Gill finds Nemo and joins Remy and Dory to try to find a way into Planet Blue. They determine if they block the inflow pipe, they can safely get past the motor. They get sea lions to steal a parasail from humans and put in into the inflow pipe to block it. Gills shows them the dolphin tank on a laminated map of the park they found and tells Dory and the boys to go there.

Going into the pipe, they come across an intersection, but pick the wrong way and end up in an octopus tank. While Dory finds and looks at a map of Planet Blue, an octopus captures Nemo and Remy. Dory finds a squeaky toy and throws it at the closed tentacles, which release the boys. Nemo and Remy escape with Dory back into the pipe intersection. Dory, now knowing where the dolphin tank is, picks the pipe that leads to it.

Marlin tries to get the Percy and some other dolphins, Bette and Redgrave, to help him find a way back into the ocean, but they are enjoying being in the dolphin show. Percy gets the idea to use his tail to flip Marlin over the fence and into the ocean. Percy attempts this, but Marlin falls short into a bucket of water next to the fence. A janitor picks up the bucket and puts it on his cart to transport it.

Some divers inspect the blocked inflow pipe. Nemo, Remy, and Dory reach the dolphin tank and watch the dolphins finish their show. The janitor stops near a polar bear exhibit area and accidently tips over the bucket, sending Marlin into the exhibit’s pool. A polar bear named Blanca approaches Marlin and tries to eat him, but Marlin manages to befriend her.

The dolphins tell Dory, Nemo, and Remy that Marlin is in a bucket that was headed to a polar bear exhibit. Remy tries to leave the dolphin tank to look for polar bear exhibit, while Nemo tries to ask Redgrave for directions to it. While Dory tries to bring the two together, a trainer sees her and captures her with a net. Nemo and Remy chase after her, but another net chases them to the side of the pool.

Redgrave grabs the pole of the net chasing Nemo and Remy before flinging the trainer into the pool. Other dolphins do this to other trainers with other nets. Redgrave shows Nemo and Remy the way to the polar bear exhibit. Meanwhile the divers have managed to unblock the inflow pipe. Nemo and Remy go into the pipe, get caught up in the current, and end up trapped in a closed Pirate themed pool. They agree to split up to find an exit before meeting in the middle.

Two polar bears want to eat Marlin, whom Blanca is protecting. Blanca leads the two polar bears out of the pool to fight them. The two polar bears work together to push Blanca to the ground before returning to Marlin. Just as the two polar bears approach to eat Marlin, they are fed with more appetizing fish and abandon him.

Gill once again tries to get the sea lions to block the inflow pipe. They had covered it with a lawn chair but it is only partially effective. Gill tries to motivate the sea loins to keep helping instead of sunbathing.

In the Pirate themed exhibit Remy finds an exit and looks as if he about to escape. Nemo angrily sees this and punches Remy, who falls onto some rocks. Remy is humiliated and tries to flee from Nemo. Remy runs into a venomous sea snake, who tries to eat him. Nemo distracts the snake. The snake thinks it is seeing double and is confused. Remy and Nemo work together to confuse and tie up the snake before fleeing into the pipe. The snake untagles itself and chases them. Nemo and Remy end up in a tide pool exhibit. A net scoops Remy up, and Nemo joins him in the net. The two are transported into a small, barren aquarium. Thinking the fish are sick, the keeper adds antibiotic to the water. Remy's wound from the rocks gets infected and he develops a fever.

Gill has motivated the sea lions to steal enough items to once again to block the inflow pipe.

A polar bear keeper finds the inflow pipe is being blocked again, which heats up the pool of the exhibit. The keeper sees Blanca trying to pry open a blocked outflow pipe for Marlin and thinks this is because the water is getting too warm. They add snow to the tank to cool it, which makes Marlin start to freeze.

Remy’s wound has healed. Nemo and Remy are scooped up by a keeper in a plastic bag. They are transported to a large coral reef exhibit, where they find Dory, who has found her many siblings from her childhood. They find an outflow pipe, but a diver seals it up for maintenance. Nemo, Remy, and Dory find the main outflow pipe. They see a worker emptying protein skimmers into it. They get into the protein skimmer, which is emptied into the outflow pipe.

Marlin is slowly freezing to death but Blanca is trying to keep him warm. Blanca, seeing Marlin needs to escape, finds a bucket, fills it with water, and puts Marlin in it. Blanca climbs the back wall with the bucket onto a catwalk. The polar bear keepers see them escape. Blanca goes down a ladder with the bucket into a service area. Blanca falls off the ladder and through a security gate, still holding onto the bucket with Marlin in it. Blanca runs freely through the amusement park. The polar bear keepers chase them with tranquilizer guns. Blanca is shot, but is able to go far enough to transport Marlin to a marshy landscaping pond.

A diver is about to unblock the inflow pipe when a great white shark named Bruce arrives and scares him way.

An engineer determines the solution to the blocked inflow pipe is to block the outflow pipe in order to create enough water pressure to unclog the inflow pipe.

Dory, Nemo, and Remy find Marlin in the marshy landscaping pond. Remy sees Marlin and Nemo embrace and gets upset, but Marlin and Nemo reassure him that he is part of their family. Dory finds the outflow pipe to the ocean. They go into it, but see that the outflow pipe is being blocked. They make it out just in time to avoid being trapped, but Dory hits her head on a root and is knocked out. Meanwhile, the inflow pipe is unblocked by the outward water pressure.

Dory wakes up, no longer having memory problems of any kind. Dory remembers how she escaped into the ocean. Dory leads Marlin, Nemo and Remy through the pond to a water wheel, which rises up next to a log flume track. They jump into the waterwheel, up onto the log flume track and down into a splashdown lagoon at the bottom of a big drop. Near the track, they wait for a log to pass by, which creates a splash that accelerates the four over the border fence and into a fast moving tidal river, which empties into the bay. They find each other and celebrate. Gill and the sea lions wave as Nemo, Remy, Marlin, and Dory head off for home.

What a cute story, Dolphin. The unedited version must've been awesome.

Rant: I am either joining the kidney stone club or I have one heck of a UTI or bladder/kidney infection. I've had some urethra discomfort for the past few weeks. It comes and goes. I just drank more water and didn't worry about it. I'm drinking nothing but milk and water, after all. Why would my kidney's be acting up?
      Yesterday I had pain.
Today I have significant pain. It's mostly in my pelvic region but now it's shooting to my right side, front and back. My urine output is almost nonexistent... but I also hadn't been drinking as much as previously.
GAH! So, today, I'm forcing the water down. I'm also going to google if tomato juice is a bad mix (I've been drinking that Tomato Bisque a lot lately).
I guess it's time for me to suck it up and clean my heating pad and take some pain meds.

Rant: I have buyers remorse for my tank. Sort of. After using it, I remembered another reason why I hate big mouthed drip tips. I inhale into my mouth and then into my lungs. With the drip tips, you pretty much have to lung hit. If I can walk, I have to go to the store later and also the vape shop where I'll buy a smaller to stick on it. Hopefully, that will work.

      **EDIT**
Bless my hubby and his hording ways. I called him to ask if I could snort tylenol to avoid stomach upset. I'm in so much pain (and tomatoes are bad for stones ) I cannot even think of eating something. He told me no Then I was lamenting I didn't have any pyridium. He asked how the real med is spelled. I looked it up, he looked in his med drawer and low and behold, he has my old prescription. It expired in 2005 I don't even care. If the med doesn't improve things, or I take a turn for the worse, I WILL be going to the Dr tomorrow. Serious-frigginly?
This feels significant. I've had, what I call, Kidney Sand off and on my entire adult life but nothing for the past several years.
What's worse, is my period is 2 days late, so is the pain on my right ovary nonsense or bladder/kidney pain?
Plus, I AM hungry. But I'm also severely nauseated.
Gah! What a start for the new year
Only thing bad about pyridium is the NASTY, nasty, nasty taste it leaves in your mouth. Time to dig out the tictacs

Rave: The heating pad is already helping.

I survived. Pyridium is a life saver. PLUS, it did not give me that nasty taste. Maybe because it was so old? It still worked, just not for as long. I still only took 2 doses. Those, plus lots of water and my heating pad seems to have settled things. I'm back to only minor urethra discomfort today. Because my pee was such a dark orange (the med), I couldn't tell if I passed any "sand". Maybe I was mostly just dehydrated?
I don't understand why I have such a low thirst drive. Even though vaping gives me such a dry mouth, I still don't get thirsty from it.

Rant: I'm also incredibly sleepy. I'm still sleeping like absolute shite, so that's part of it.
I can't play Gems of War for more than 10 minutes without falling asleep at my desk. Blah.

Rave: I'm loving the Starvation Mod for 7D2D. But egad!- there is SO much more content and such a higher difficulty. In a "vanilla" game, I can go the entire game without dying once. So far, in Starvation, I don't even make it past day one without dying 1-3 times
But even my zombie game is makingme fall asleep.

Meh: I'm supposed to go to the store tonight. I never did go out yesterday, but had my girls pick some stuff up (animal food). It all depends on hubby. Today was surgery day, so he'll come home wiped out. BUT, he's out of yogurt, so he might send me out. I hope not lol. I do not have the energy to put air in my tires then face the horde of people at the store.

      Hope everyone is well

Rave: I just survived my fourth near-death experience; inside a vehicle with four people with me included. We went into a snowy ditch, and a few inches closer to death away from a wooden pole, and magically swerved back into the road like nothing happened. Like “PLOP” or being teleported back to safety. I was going to reality check, but these days, I don't even really need to as much haha. A few days ago, I was experiencing a lot of dread after all these series of shortcomings coming full blast at me, but this, I dare say, a bloody miracle, is going to take a while to process.

I try to keep to myself for any experiences on near death or fatal injuries that were avoided because you can never know later on when you won’t have that luck next time, but wow. I’m still alive, and I get to dream another night. The world keeps on turning regardless. Stay safe, fellow dreamers.

Are you using the "Post Quick Reply", Link? If so, that's why you're getting doubles.
So glad you're okay! Stay safe

Rant: I had my first dry hit on my new tank last night. Wow, that hurt!

Rant: I'm awake. My daughter-in-law went to the ER this morning with kidney pain. She has stones She was too doped up to drive home and told them my daughter doesn't have her license lol (the hospital is, literally, about 5 minutes down the road). I had to go pick them up.
My daughter treated me to a Mc D's breakfast though, so that made up for it a little

Rant: Our kitchen sink froze last week. We lost our toilet for one day (no water running to it but still flushed if you manually added the water). It's going to get even colder next week, so I'm not very optimistic. I told everyone to do their laundry and clean the dishes etc while they can.

Rave: Other than extreme exhaustion, I'm feeling 95% better.

Rant: I have to take a shower and do laundry myself... but I cannot. I HAVE to go back to sleep...

There should be a script that automatically deletes double posts. Just don't edit either post and it should detect and delete it (otherwise if it's edited it can't detect that it's a duplicate). It runs every 15 seconds, so just wait a while and it should disappear.

Or, like Zhaylin said, using the Go Advanced button should cause it not to duplicate in the first place.

A lot of changes for the New Year for me.
I'm doing: No cigarettes and no porn. (Practically my two favourite things)
On top of that I'm drinking exclusively water, and only taking cold showers. Other than that, not much to report. I've still got another month here until I get to go back to Brisbane for university. The only thing I really have to pass the time is basketball and weight lifting. Even so, everything gets old after a while. But at the same time it's nice to immerse myself in getting better at ball and also working out. I'm excited to play proper competitive basketball games with my friends when I'm back at uni. Oh, and my Xbox One S broke recently. We had a storm and a power surge ruined the internal power supply of the console. Luckily it's still under warranty, but it'll be a few weeks until I get a new one mailed out to me, which will unfortunately contribute to my lack of things to do. Anyway, I hope everyone's doing well

Root canals suck. The worst part for me is that the local aesthetic they use is always really ineffective for some reason. I recall one time I explained the situation to the dentist and he told me he to inject me one at a time and then test it, before he gave me anymore. So he'd shoot me up, drill into my tooth, I'd exclaim in pain. The process repeated about 4 times until I finally had enough aesthetic. Other than that, no big deal. They are awfully expensive though, that's probably the worst part!

True, but after the pain fades, a while after the root canals are done, you become yourself again, and then you realize how much low-level pain you were constantly repressing. It really screws up your life until you get it taken care of.

Sorry I took so long to respond I haven't been around here in a little while. Christmas was fun, the family parties are always... interesting, but everyone was pretty good this year. Unfortunately I haven't been able to go to the gym for a few weeks, thanks to injury, going away and now a terrible cold that has somehow resulted in me getting 4+ nose bleeds a day. I had a lot of nose bleeds as a kid, and particularly with a cold, but i hadn't had any for around 6 months of so prior. I had a blood test yesterday just to check there isn't something really wrong with me, hopefully its just my nose being destroyed from the cold.
EDIT: I forgot to say where I study, it is RMIT

      Status: Single. Not looking.

Finally free of a miserable failing relationship. I wasted the last 1.5 years with a psychologically and emotionally abusive and manipulative <insert favorite expletive here>. I hung in there hoping that things would get better, but they just got worse. Tolerance, compassion, and hope can only go so far. Once it becomes detrimental to my own health, it's time to cut the wires.

I'm coming up to two weeks cigarette free. The only thing is I've been experiencing these weird pangs of anxiety, I think it has to do with my quitting nicotine?
I get that weird sensation in my stomach. I don't really feel overtly anxious in terms of my mentality, it's mostly just the physical sensation of anxiety.
Has anyone else had this before? Hopefully it goes away by itself

I hope everyone is well or doing better.

Yuppie, GRATS, on giving up those cigarettes
I don't think I ever had that stomach thing before.

I saw the allergy Dr. It was a nearly annoying venture. I drove the 40 minutes there only to be told that they don't do skin testing for food allergies and my appointment was supposed to have been cancelled (it had been on there end, but no one called to inform me).
I told them, I have lots of allergies, in general, so I might as well make the most of the trip.

Dr. "I never tell people to get rid of their pets. There are things we can do to help manage symptoms....."
Dr. "Oh, there's lots of mold in your house? Burn it down."
      Me:

I actually think one of the biggest contributors to my allergies is my bird. Dr. told me to get him out of my bedroom, but there's nowhere else for him to be. SO, I'm going to start cleaning his area and cage every day/every other day. I've never seen an animal produce as much dander as he does. Forget the cats, cockatiels are the worst lol

Rant: In order to do skin testing for allergies, I cannot take any beta blockers for a month. I also have to discontinue allergy meds PLUS my Cymbalta a week beforehand (seriously, Cymbalta?). I can do all of that, but going even 1 day without Cybalta brings back my anxiety surges and back pain.

Rant: He also recommended Zyrtec and Flonase. Good googally zyrtec is a million times worse than Valium for me. I have never been so comatose. So, yeah, that's definitely NOT going to work. Back to Benadryl for now. The Flonase has been helping though.

Rave: I finally like my new tank (I thought I posted this already lol). I looked around for temp setting suggestions and finally tried that with the stainless steel mesh. I also got a smaller tip (not the tapered ones I prefer, just not as wide).
I've been trying to get another plastic canvas lanyard made up but egad!- it's so friggin annoying. I bought some polyurethane to coat the side in and just opening the can gave me an instant migraine. I lightly coated one panel. Several days later, the panel still reeks of the stuff SO, I bought some Loctite spray adhesive to try but I've not had the energy to tackle it yet.
I decided to crank out a crochet lanyard in the meantime. It's made me realize just how much my new tank leaks lol.

Meh: I'm back to eating real food.... and back to being bloated full time. I'll also treat myself to a fountain coke every now and then if I'm getting fast food.
Oh yeah... because that was one of the more interesting things the allergy doc said. He said it's rare, but mold exposure CAN cause stomach bloating and upset. So, I'm done guessing for now until more testing can be done.

Even if you were in your 80's or 90's, it's never too late to change habits. It might get HARDER, lol, but there is still time and hope.
I'm 43 years old and I'm still growing and changing and learning new things.

Bom bom bom... Rant: Caffeine is now contributing to my rising blood pressure I think. My pressure gets worse as the day draws on. 2 days without it, my pressure was around 140/90. ON caffeine, it's 150/102.
I took 70mg Vyvance today. It was WONDERFUL!!!!!! I wasn't hyper or overstimulated, just calm, awake AND focused. My pulse took off right away with a resting number of 100-110 (my normal resting is 90-100) but my BP was fine... until this last hour. Now it's back to 150/102.

Curiosity: I've been consistently taking my pressure and I've noticed something I think is odd. My pulse is the same as my diastolic pressure (bottom number) 90% of the time. Why?

Rave: I'm debt free with hubby for the last couple weeks. It is SO nice getting my full $200. a week!!! I have money for necessities, some fun items (yarn, lol) AND I'm going to have money to start saving.

Rant/Rave: I'm still really loving my drip tank. I'll be saving a ton of money from switching to it... but, I have to rethink my lanyards. 1) I haven't mastered filling it. Not even close so 2) it leaks like a sieve. It completely soaked the crocheted one I worked up. It's been "drying" for 2, 3 days, and it's still greasy wet. I'll have to hand wash and hang it properly.
I have that spray adhesive stuff. Could I spray it on BEFORE I start crocheting or just wait until it's done? Depends on how stiff it makes it, I guess. But would it do any good? I guess I'll have to try and see.

Rant-in-advance: I see my sleep Dr. tomorrow. I'm going to really fight for my Provigil. But I already know what he's going to say: 'For 3 months, sleep from 10PM-7AM and see if that helps your fatigue.' I'll protest and say I kept that schedule for 6 months last year when I was taking me kids to work. I was STILL sleepy... but worse, I also had EXTREME brain fog and mood changes (for the worst lol). He'll counter with: 'That was before you got your CPAP machine. Try again.'
Hopefully, he'll surprise me, but I doubt it. West Virginia is a major hotspot for Opioid abuse. Most Dr's wont prescribe anything heavier than Tylenol (without codeine) or Ibuprofen even after surgery or injury.

Hope everyone is well. Later taters.

I am dying to get back to Brisbane and start university again. I only have two weeks left but the time has slowed to a crawl now that it's so close and I'm thinking about it all the time. I can't wait to see my friends and actually have something productive to do with my time again. For the last couple of months I haven't even really gotten to speak to anyone other than my parents. I don't mind my parents, but we definitely grate on each other when we're in such a confined space for months. I don't really believe it's natural for an adult to live with their parents, especially not after they've already moved out. It just doesn't really work very well.

That's just my experience anyway, I can't speak for everyone

      Rave:
We managed to get the house sold at double the price which is good, especially after the scare of the partial government shutdown. A family member found a job within a month, and they want them to work next week, so I’m happy for them. Now that they’re safe and sound and have a pretty nice financial backup, I can start going face-to-face on some jobs that actually responded to me, and hunting relentlessly. It’s unfortunate that I might have to get used to the pay rate being a little lower, but maybe it’ll convince me to get as much residual income as I possibly can.

I think I might get into AutoCAD in the future as I have some experience with 3D programs already. Thankfully, the concept of software agnostic approach exists, so I would just need to get certified and build up experience over time. But, things are still a blank canvas, so I guess it’s more stuff to add to the platter.
