Oct. 22 ? I'd go mad with worry!

My happy rant is that my right hand, wrist and shoulder are exceptionally sore. I've been crocheting a light creamy yellow colored blanket to use as a wall hanging to add brightness to my room. I'm out of practice though. I've been working on it for a total of about 6 hours (3 last night, 3 today).
Sadly, it's just now long enough to cover my feet lol. I've got a LONG way to go

I was just on the phone with with a Wind Mobile representative and I ended up spacing out (edibles ftw). We were talking and I gave her the information she needed, then the line went quiet. We were both silent for a while but I think I heard her sort of sigh in frustration a few times. While talking to her earlier I got the impression that she was having a bad day (not an angry tone, more of a defeated "I just wanna go home" tone), so I didn't want to ask her how long it would take. I thought she was typing something out on her computer...

Turns out I accidentally said "hold on" out loud while reading something on my computer screen, and she thought I was talking to her. The poor girl ended up waiting for me for nearly 10 minutes before I finally asked if we were almost done.

We had a bit of a laugh, but I guess she was too loud because I heard a someone give her an angry "shhh!" on her end. Hopefully I wasn't too much of an inconvenience for her.

I saw a girl (estimated age: 11 or 12) with a large (8"x6") tattoo on her back (between her shoulder blades.)

Children shouldn't have tattoos if you ask me. Some teens and early 20-somethings also can't handle making that type of lifelong decision without regret, either.

If you're going to get a tattoo, make it one that a 70-year old would be proud to have, because one day you may be 70 and have that tattoo.

True. I wish I had thought a little harder about the two I have, but they're not all that regrettable. Mostly I regret them because I will have to hide them when I'm trying to become a teacher. But that's mostly where they are placed, on my arms.

I like them though. My sister's boyfriend's daughter, who is 16, has a tattoo. I always think wth. It's Winnie the Pooh... seriously....

My rant: I'm having another son apparently. I was only a little diappointed. I think it's just because of all this pressure from his side of the family. They are constantly saying to me, "OH the K------'s don't make girls, only boys!" or "Sorry hun, you're stuck with the K------ curse!" And they laugh about it and say "I told you so!" when I find out. I know it's not personal, but it's fucking annoying.

Oh well, my side of the family has enough girls, so my parents are rather happy I'm giving them two grandsons. They've already got three grand daughters. I'm perfectly ok with boys when I really think about it. I'm a horrible girly girl and I wouldn't want my daughter to go to school with the same hairstyle everyday like momma. lol. And boys are fun. The only problem I see is liking their future girlfriends. >.<

I've got some years left though. They are mine for the time being.

Ugh. And my doctor is trying to scare me into a planned c-section still, even though there are no more complications (had marginal previa, but it's moved). There is only about a 1% chance of a uterine scar rupture (due to my previous c-section), and he was all like "but I've seen two babies die because of it". Yes, he emphasized DIE. Wtf. It's funny because he doesn't want to tell me about the risks of having a C-section. That is major abdominal surgery, pal. Don't tell me it's safer.

I feel like giving in, and saying fuck it because he's just going to keep pushing it, and trying to scare me into it. I'm due on a Saturday too, God forbid I ACTUALLY go into labor on the weekend... fuckin' doctors.

Ok. So my horomones are a little strained. He's a real nice guy, but he's just so pushy.. "If you were MY wife or sister, I would tell you to do a c-section..."

EVERY VISIT we go through this. Ok. Done.

      Need to clean damnit.

Oh man - there was this guy I used to work with - real easy-going, pushover type, super friendly and a little dumb, and then we hired this other dude, a real con man who had been in and out of prison a few times, and they became best buddies. The con man was just taking advantage of the nice guy all the time - he'd borrow money and then instead of paying him back he'd give him tattoos.

2 things you need to understand - first, tatoos did not look right at all on this guy!! He was like a real happy, chubby, soft pasty looking guy - I mean think Patton Oswalt for example:

And also, the con man was an absolutely TERRIBLE tatttoo artist!! Lame-ass, lopsided failed prison tattoos that looked like some kid did them in a moving car on a bumpy road. Pretty soon the con man had talked the guy into letting him move in with him, and must have been borrowing large sums of money, because every time he'd come in to work the poor guy would lift up his shirt or roll back a sleeve and show us new tattoos - after a while he had full sleeves - and then one day he came in with a teardrop tattooed under one eye!! I shit you not! I asked him if he knew what that meant, and he stood there looking dopey for a while and said "That I'm sad?"

He had no clue it's a prison thing and it means you've killed somebody!

We tried time and time again to get through to him - that this guy was just using him and marking him for life and that he was going to regret it, but he wouldn't listen. I wonder what he looks like now?

yay... neighbor girl is bitching on the phone again, disrupting my meditative candle-light stretching time. Why are you yelling (literally) into a phone at 12:30am anyway? It's kinda funny. But, still disruptive.

I think it may be a breakup phone call? She just yelled "You're never coming back!" Booooo, stfu already.

Someone I know has a tinkerbell above and to the side of her pussy. lol.
      Tinkerbell....
She regretted the shit out of it and got it removed, but it's still all fucked up, you can still see the pink bits (dress or something lol) and some wings and then all this scratchy looking stuff.
Guess you have to do it a couple of times. But yeah, some kids don't think about having it for the rest of their life even though heaps of people will tell them that.

I've never really felt the need to get one.... I change my interests a lot. Some of them look cool, but I don't want them on my body. They look just as good on a piece of paper I can put on my bedroom wall lol

Didn't realise you were so close. He is right though, after having a c-section you're more likely to need it again after that.
      Good luck though.

My knuckles are now inflamed lol There will be no more crocheting for me for a while. But now that I'm in the swing of things, it's hard for me to set it down
The blanket is nearly long enough to cover my waist though, so I'm making good progress (it's width is almost from one outstretched arm to the other).
You'd think I've been boxing as sore as my knuckles are

I never did go back to sleep. I've been watching Sea Patrol on Hulu and crocheting this entire time...

We might go on a short 3 day holiday around August 20th... we weren't on a holiday since 2 years now.... but i don't know... i feel so bad about this. I would go with my sister (who i don't even talk to) and my mom. My dad would stay at home during this time... but if i would stay home then i would need to stay with him and i don't talk with him either, because he is an alcoholist and just has many problems.

I don't know what to do... i wouldn't feel too good there because of my sister and i would just feel somewhat alone, but i don't even want to remain at home with my dad either...
I have other reasons for not wanting to go, but argh.... i don't know this...
      I realize that i'm dreaming.

I can't think of anything that would still be very meaningful to me for 70 years except for something family-related. Some people can pull off a tattoo. I, however, cannot, and I'm perfectly OK with that. That's just not my style.

LittleZoe. Tough choice! Whatever you do, I hope you manage to relax and have a little fun.

I love my tattoos- except for the flame under my butterfly because I messed it up. I also messed up my Mimosa flower but it can be easily corrected once I quit smoking (my "reward"). Right now it looks a bit like a broom
My favorites are the blue rose along my bikini line that I had professionally done after my oldest son was born, and the moon and star on the inside of my left wrist.

My rant is that my dream recall has been royally sucking. I fell back to sleep from 8AM til noon and I don't remember anything about my dreams.
I'm also still at war with fruit flies and house flies. I had about a dozen house flies hovering over the floor of my bedroom yesterday. I sprayed them with poison so which ever ones didn't die vacated
Fruit flies are my real annoyance. I keep an empty pill bottle over the straw of my 52 ounce cup (which has a lid and an opening for the straw). I didn't line up the bottle JUST right yesterday and at least a dozen flew out of my cup.
I guess that's the price to pay for having a tropical temperature bedroom. There's lots of condensation in my room and I think that's what's drawing them (there's no food in here). I like the temp and the humidity so I'll just have to deal with them

Pulled an all nigher because my mom and I made the mistake of going to the Emergency Room because of her fever. The people there of course did nothing but waste our time and money. :/

So I spent the night walking about the hospital and reading my book and on IRC before my tablet died and now we are back at home and I can finally sleep- which I did...for 2 hours. I don't want to go back to sleep in the middle of the day because that would totally wreck my sleep schedule. So I want stay awake till 8pm and go to sleep then, as that would be far less harmful to my sleep schedule I think. Plus the fact that I am legitimately delarious is not helpful. I can't think straight and its taking me forever to type this post. But that's ok, I have lots of time to burn. Man, I dunno if I can stay awake for 6 more hours...

I might if I get tired again. After blasting some music and vacuuming the house I don't feel too bad actually.

It doesn't sound too bad, it's only three days. And you might have a good time. The only way you can know is if you try. What have you got to lose and maybe a holiday will do you good.

Rant: I'm addicted to hanging out in with the beginners and helping them, I would make a great samurai chief/ old man with pipe.

Dave, hope your mom's doing better!
If you've not crashed yet, listening to energizing binaural beats might help. They do for me if I'm not TOO far gone.

My rant is that my right hand feels crippled I spent about 6 more hours watching Sea Patrol and crocheting. THe blanket is almost half way done though I just started the second skein.
But I killed our bandwidth. Farmville wont load lol... What am I going to do with the rest of my time if I can neither crochet or play FB games

apparently some plugins that are used by every single site I visit are out of date. That wouldn't be a problem if firefox would just let me update! But no. For some reason this good for nothing laptop will not download the freaking update. And when this message pops up for some reason the scroll bar disappears and I cant use it. What a great feature. Why when I exit the warning window does it reappear? CLEARLY i do not wish to see it.

Also I have now learned from experience that there are some seriously messed up people online. I always knew that of course. But meeting one first hand is a little scary. I definitely will be more weary online.

I'm thinking about saving up some money to buy parts to build a computer. One that can load web pages in under an hour (dramatic). But I really wouldn't mind building a gaming PC. I need to start getting back into Photoshop since I'm no longer taking classes for it.

Sleep schedule is fucked. It always gets like this in the Winter. I keep waking up around 12 or 11, coz I wake up from my alarm at 8 or 9 and try to get warm coz I'm fucking freezing and then I fall back asleep again.
That makes it hard to sleep at a proper time, and if I try to go to sleep before 1, my day is just shortened and I spend hours of it trying to fall asleep.

      Feel like shit too.
