My rant is that I have to leave the comfort of my room to talk to PEOPLE Our internet provider called my hubby yesterday but he thought it wasn't important so he deleted it. For the last couple of days, though, our internet has been getting shut off. The first time it was from around 10PM-2AM. Last night...er, this morning... it was down from midnight until 5AM. Are they doing maintenance or are they cutting off? I'm going to drive over to the company and ask them (they're located less than 10 minutes down the road from us).
I would much rather not though lol

In other news, my mom called me last night. She might take Myles if he'll stay with her. She wants me to have him Baker Act-ed. I guess I could have him committed for 72 hours before he turns 18. But that would not go over well at all.

I could do without c, q, w and x if I were writing in Norwegian. Those letters are only used in loan words. (Though writing beiken instead of bacon would be odd).

I spoke with a lady though and she said the servers were off-line because they're updating their system and extending our (? what's the word) internet usage capabilities from 10 to 15 (whatever they use to measure it ).
That's what the message was about *whew*
We use an obscene amount of bandwidth and I'm always worried they're going to cut us off.

Hubby had me pick up hotdogs from Sheetz afterward. I had 2 with Provolone and Relish and my headache is now gone Amazingly enough, my stomach isn't rebelling.
When I spoke to my mom last night, I complained about the side effects of not having a gallbladder and she laughed and said since she had hers removed, she lives on Amodium AD. I guess it's a common problem...

Zhaylin whats Baker Act-ed?

I'm sure it's different in different places, but under the Baker Act, I could have my son committed into a mental ward- in theory- for a 72 hour evaluation. But only because he's still a minor in my care.
It would be a good idea if he was an immediate threat to himself or other people. But the boy's stubborn. No one will change his mind and locking him up for 72 hours will solve nothing :/

An anti-rant is that I FINALLY memorized my FB password. I changed it after the DV hack and it's only now stuck in my brain It's 16 characters of both numbers and letters which is much too long for my pea brain apparently

I thought that was the point of keepass and the remember password functionality in browsers

I feel sorry for my son tonight. Mommy's going to get buzz happy with his hair and I've never done this before. Thank god he won't remember it.

Try to make it seem fun for him. Play around with the clippers (while unplugged) and kind run it over his head a few times until he's comfortable with it. Then turn it on and have it go over your arm or something while he's watching so that he know's it's safe. If he thinks it's some kind of game, he's less likely to squirm and cry.

Good luck, I'm glad I don't have to deal with things like that for another couple years.

Watching News with my mom before she leaves on a camping trip and A story about a guy trying to steal a ten year old girl and getting caught on camera comes on. The News says that the kid got away because she watched Law and Order SVU.... Bullshit My Mom watches that and No It doesn't teach you how to defend yourself It Never shows anyone defend themselves because it shows what happens after a crime, Goddamn it even advertisements in the news now. You won't learn self defence from watching T.V.

I have a different password for every account I have. Not on purpose mind you, but some sites require passwords to be longer than others, or require numbers, or capital letters. And to top that my favorite numbers change. So sometimes when I sign up I use 8, and other times I use 5, or 7. (or a combination of the)

So every time I sign in to Skype, windows, google, or fb I always have to have them send me my password through email. There goes that rant.

Also I want to to pre-order assasins creed 3. I have the money but no credit card. So I ask my mom, if I give you the money can you pre-order the game for me. She told me that I had to pick up the living room tomorrow and she would. It's not a problem. But I find it amusing that I have to do chores, so I can use my money, to buy my game.

Now I'm having problems in figuring out if I want to pre-order black ops 2 or assasins creed. Wow this rant is dumb. What do you guys think? (on the game, not whether this is a dumb rant)

Hmmm. I have been spending hours on YouTube looking up this guys videos. I'm not going to say his channel name because I don't want people to think I'm advertising. But he is freaking hilarious. And now I've watched all his videos. This part doesn't seem very ranty. I wonder why I put it in here.

Settle this for me. Is OCD when you want everything to be perfect/clean. Or is it simply when you obsess about something?

Now I'm going to spend the next 30 minutes catching up on Zhaylin's life.

Edit: at the iPhone vs android argument. My 2 year old android is faster than my moms iPhone 4s. That's pretty much all I'm giving to android. They are freaking fast. I have owned 2 androids and 2 iPhones. Bettery life sucks on all of them. But I don't really care because I don't mind charging them everyday. It's not hard. App store is better with iPhone. Screen is better with iPhone (I prefer a 4 inch). iPhone don't break as much. I have had 5 replacement phones with android. Non of my iPhones ever had software problems. And I think iPhones are designed better. As in, the looks. I think I would rather drop my metal android on concrete than I would a glass iPhone. Even the plastic phones can't shatter. I don't use the app store btw. I currently use android, and probably will for quite some time.

Obsessing over anything. Doesn't have to be cleaning or perfection etc. It's when you can barely function without first doing something, and when you do that thing, you feel relief from that "off" feeling for a short time.
Put simply, since I don't have much time and have to leave for work in about 10 minutes.

It doesn't influence my decision. I'm just trying to fit in with what people want me to do and make it look like I'm really trying to advance my life
by working toward a better job. I am actually doing that, but I don't care about it. lol

I decided I'm just going to get a job in either a nursery or a pet store, failing that a supermarket, save up and travel for at least a year if possible.
My sister says "but don't you want a job where you can advance?" (like get a higher position, become manager or some shit).
NO, I FUCKING DON'T! Jesus.... I couldn't care less whether my job is looked highly upon or not.
I just want to work as little as possible.

Bonus Rant: I'm spending way too much on the Steam Summer Sale.

Many sufferers of OCD have a compulsion to clean obsessively. But any Obsessive Compulsion counts. lol Khh and Dakotah. FB used to remember all my user names and passwords but it suddenly stopped a week ago or so. I don't know what happened, but it's annoying me to no end. I even click the box to "remember me"
I HAVE to have my passwords the same. It's unwise, but I don't store anything important so I'm usually not worried about it. I combine numerology with words which- in theory- would help me to remember. But nope.
Facebook is the only place that's different. Well, there's here, but it's just a shorter version of FB's and my user name and password are remembered here so it's never come up lol.

My rant is that I couldn't sleep this morning. I had the heebiejeebies and felt like bugs were crawling all over me. There were a couple fleas here and there, but I "Felt" dozens.
And now I'm falling asleep at my desk but just used up the last of my Coke and I stubbornly refuse to sleep until I finish it lol

i have the hardest time trying to wake up after 7 hours of sleep. but if i only sleep 5 hours, i wake up easily. though, now i'll be tired for the rest of the day but fuck it.

suppose i'm just interrupting my internal sleeping clock when i give myself 7 hours... maybe i should try 6.75 or 7.25 hours of sleep?

I'm the same man, I don't understand it. I think the only solution is to go to sleep before 12 and wake up after ~7 and a half hours. For me anyway. But it's hard to get to sleep before then.

That's not necessarily true. Many people with OCD don't fear that something unrelated to the action will happen. Although yeah it is definitely a part of it for some people.

Sometimes there's no reason for feeling a certain way about something.
It's possible you were sad because you failed to become lucid, and then you thought about that you don't know what to do with your life, and then you thought you were sad because you don't know what to do with your life.
Hope that makes sense, doesn't really change anything, but I find it helps to remember that our emotions sometimes confuse us.
For example I was really bloody angry before, I blamed all the shit going wrong and the bad drivers etc. for me being angry, but that stuff only made me angry because I was already angry.

I feel pretty sad now too though. I get so sad when I remember how many dumb, idiotic, egotistic, narcissistic wankers there are in the world.
I get sad because no matter what I do, those idiots are going to be there ruining everything. And I also feel like if I do do something to help the world/people/whatever I may end up helping one of those morons and they'll just ruin it again.
That's kind of vague....

For instance, if I became a veterinarian, I would fix people's pets, but then they're just going to keep treating it bad, they're gonna get more pets and the cycle will just continue, I wouldn't be helping anything really.
Or if I invented some type of free renewable energy that could power the world, they'd say it's too expensive and they prefer the sound of cars that run on petrol or some inane bullshit.
Those people who would vote against their own interests, thinking they are better than every other person and only looking out for themselves.
And the people who do invent any humanity-saving technology will simply be allowing these ungrateful morons to continue living and breeding.

That gets me really depressed.

I used to get that -- I found it to be cognitive conflict between what I'm doing and what I 'should be' doing based on society's and other people's norms. When I focused on the fact that what I'm doing is what I like doing, and hence is what I really 'should be' doing, I felt much better. All of the sadness and worry derived from other people's expectations dissolved. Now I just am what I am. It's not all that bad just being what you are..... unless you feel the need to engage in homicidal behaviour on a massive scale. ^_^

How about sleeping for 5 hours to wake up easily, and then napping at some point through the day to get 7 in total? And what happens if you just sleep -- how many hours do you naturally wake up after?
