Thread: 365 days w/o Jerking Off: A self control challenge

6th day for me I try to keep it up for a lot longer now than last time... maybe the whole month, but we'll see xD

Failed... Trying again for a week. Started today

It's been 8 days by now and the burning desire to do it hasn't kicked in yet. Still four days to go now but I think I'll manage that, maybe even add another week to it.

Uuuh... That's sounds fun and difficult, but I think my boyfriend wouldn't approve of this experiment - or is it "allowed" to have sex? xD

I think I'm gonna fail terribly...

Goal: End of Week (that's pretty tough for me, so sssshhht!)

I wonder what the first time in a year would feel like. If it'd feel like the first time it'd be pretty epic.

Day 24 - I gave up. This challenge so isn't worth it lol

I had fallen off my ways. Jerking it every day, sometimes to compulsion. I tried to restart this challenge, but I couldn't make it stick - but now I'm on my way again, 7 full days past me. For me what made it possible after tricks of first streak failed me was starting to count the urges I had and beat. In 7 days I had over 30 of them, and probably would have had more if I weren't working all the time. Don't know if that little tip will help anyone else, but for me I'm kinda obsessive about numbers so it helped me.

Now I'm hoping to beat my record and go beyond!

Lol, it seems most people on here are a lot more sexual than me. A whole week can easily go by without me feeling horny at all...

edit: dang, after reading these posts I went on the web to search for an explanation for my seemingly low libido and I found the site "yourbrainonporn" (it was probably mentioned before but hell, I ain't reading everything) and it was an eyeopener. Allright, vacations has been over for a couple of days, and so is my challenge. Since I made it regular routine to not go further than once a week of once per two weeks, I will not report unless I actually have something to mention Other than that I'll still be talking and advising, this thread is too much fun to stay away completely.

Somebody mentioned the idea of a synchronized challenge 2 pages ago or something, and I have to say I think it's a great idea. What do you guys think, synchronized challenge or not? I suggest a starting date of Septembre 1st

It's been nearly a week since I quit the challenge and the extreme excitement level has not gone down.

I did the "no fap challenge" about a month ago and made it over the 30 day mark, but not too much longer... think I broke on day 34. Now, I'm married, so I didn't give up sex/orgasms altogether, but it definitely had positive effects that have sustained. Wife and I have way more sex than we used to and I RARELY look at porn anymore, whereas I used to check out some internet porn nearly every day.

I think an entire year is pretty crazy, as 34 days felt like a LONG time, seeing as I hadn't gone more than 2-3 days since age 12 =P

Urgh.. Please someone give me the power to resist atleast a week.. I've jerked off like 5 times this week haha.. Starting again today..!

If you have a girlfriend I wouldn't recommend attempting this challenge. What I would recommend is to stop using your hands alltogether, so the only sex you get is with your GF. Every time you do have sex will be a lot better that way

I'm 4 days off of it. Came here looking for motivation but all you guys do is talk about sex and hawt chicks! lol
