The longest I've stayed chaste was 9 months, in the end it was a horrifying event.

What's actually unhealthy is the demonization of sexuality and the resulting insecurities that pervade many societies and cultures about it today. The fact that we can't even be comfortable, as a society, with how we teach sexuality is pretty disgusting. This alone holds many implications with how different people perceive and react to a lot of different things, usually for the negative.

The way I see it, there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to improve individual habits. I would much rather be proactive in meeting people and...um...sharing a good time with them as opposed to going solo every time I feel an urge for it.



But beyond that, my current associations for quick release are unhealthy. If I would much rather stay in and watch porn as opposed to go out with friends and have a good time, then I think that's a problem.

Now where does the unnecessarily long amount of time factor in? Well it's like a game. We all know we will inevitably lose, we just wanna see how long we can go! Kinda like how fast we can shotgun a beer relative to others or ramping up a high score in any game.

And I. Will. Win.

I'm in I've decided to do this, but I'm going to go for 2 months only. I stayed clean last night, so DAY 1 : SUCCES!!!! I'll be going through the entire March and April, just to prove to myself that I can I've heard that is has a lot of good side-effects, so why not. Alright, just came to report that I just ended the challenge after 61 days of successful abstinence.

Now you all must wonder, how was it...

Best I've ever had. No contest, hands down, amazing.
