How did you come up with your name?

there are some people around here whose names i would like to know the story behind. mine, for example, is quite lame. when i was a lot younger, i was obsessed with Harry Potter. after reading the second one, in, like, '98, i wanted to make a cool anagram out of my name just like Voldermort did. So, i rearranged the letters of my whole name, and it actually worked. it came out, "I am Lord Tavasion" so, forever since, that has been my forum name, gamertag, and other things.

it's from a song lyric from a band called blessthefall and the song "We'll Sleep When We're Dead" they say "Hide your Makeshift Heart" and that's my favorite song so I took that and made my name from it.

It all goes back to the days when I played Runescape... My name started out as slayer200270 because my friend was starting a clan with the name slayer and having similar numbers behind it (slayer200260, slayer200250, etc). Mine turned out to be slayer200270, which I liked. And as time went on, and I started playing different games, I just went with slayer.

I remembered that my dad told me about the term sesquipedalian, saying it was somebody using words about a foot and a half long to be annoying. I was always considered a nerd, so I went with one of the nerdiest words I've heard of that I didn't have to spend three days typing. Needless to say, I've gotten very fast at typing sesquipedalian. I really don't live up to my title anymore, but I have my moments every once in a while. It's fun to obfuscate people.

Memento Mori Memento mori is a Latin phrase translated as "Remember you must die". It names a genre of artistic creations that vary widely from one another, but which all share the same purpose: to remind people of their own mortality. I have it tattooed on my left forearm. It serves to remind me that i must live each day as if it may be my last and to never take a second of my life for granted. To appreciate all things and see the beauty in everything. To be the best person i can be and to always be the helping hand. To remain strong and vigilant, to be ever watchful and care for others even if they do not care for me. It's my strength in myself and it was and always is an insight for me. Mori is a nickname i picked up after a while of having the tattoo and i relate best to that nickname. So i naturally chose it as my username.

Well, I'm sure you've all heard this story before, but one time I had a lucid dream where I was in a wood paneled room doing my usual morphing attempts and I asked a wandering DC what I was, as it was too dark to see properly. He handed me a scroll which said in formal letters that I was a Laos Sea Dragon, which actually doesn't make sense because Laos is a landlocked country. I abbreviated the Laos when using it as a name because otherwise everybody would think I'm from there and I'm not.

Created on a whim. One of the first forums I created an account on had a very tightly knit group that I wanted to be a part of, but not create a definite identity. I wanted to convey the image of an eccentric lurker: Odd_nonposter. I've since adopted it for most of my accounts.

IndigoGhost, from 2 things, first is the Indigo part from the fact that I'm semi~autistic and that people have been calling me an Indigo "New Age" type for a while, also because i like the color and when i look at my hands in my dreams they are always glowy indigo purple color. The Ghost part comes from the fact that i was called Ghosty in school by a few people because i would turn up and leave whenever i wanted kinda like a ghost.
