How do you deal with pesky bees?

(Truly) ignore them and this will make them disappear. Or you can play with them? Make them do interesting formations or show you the way to your goal. They will still be here but totally under your control and entertaining.

I hope I'm not derailing this but, are you sure the pesky bee is not actually a little baby pigeon that looks like a butterfly and likes to sing songs about love? That's the only thing that comes to my mind when talking about "pesky bees" xD

Interesting! In my dreams, they aren't bees but spiders. I've had many dreams, where I'm exploring and there's just a bunch of spiders everywhere. It sort of left when I started picking spiders up with my hands in waking life.

First, it is part of you thinking about bees that makes them come. Simply saying "do not think about them" is a real answer, but that is very hard to do. What you can do is narrow your field of vision down to something you can focus on intently. This can take your mind away from thinking about them. Do not respond to them even if they are attacking you, that just reinforces them. Answer as above are the best, do remember the you have a magical gesture that turns them into bees made of chocolate.

What a very specific question. I'm going to assume you mean dealing with bees in lucid dreams. Bees don't often show up in my dreams, but I do have spiders appear a lot in my lucid and non lucid dreams, big ones that hang out in branches and in small spaces where it is difficult to avoid them. If I am sufficiently lucid, I can just ignore them and they simply go away. I have had unpleasant encounters with spiders in lucid dreams and then just been like "No! I don't have to do this!" and then I find something else to occupy my attention. If I struggle against them, it usually just makes it worse. This applies to any unpleasant dream elements.

It works well if you remind yourself that the bees aren't real, and just ignore them. The more attention paid to something in a dream, the more likely it will stay in the dream.
