I lucid dreamt actively for two years, mostly DILD and a little DEILD. The skills have never really gone away. A couple months ago (when I took a break from smoking), I got back into lucid dreaming, and guess what?

It was way easier than the first time(s) around. I had a lucid dream every other time I napped, and when I didn't, it was because the nap wasn't long enough and I didn't dream. I was focused, had goals, and kept lucid dreaming and reality checking in my conscious thoughts prior to nap time.

So I say, build a strong foundation now, with whatever technique works best for you. It'll pay off eventually!

Great advice! Thank you. I do have a fear of it all leaving me.. but I guess I'll take another break.. I haven't taken enough probably.
