Mezzanine

I don't remember much... my dreams haven't been as vivid as they used to be. Sad.

I was looking around to help someone find some buttons... like big circular buttons that you pin to your shirt, not the ones that keep your shirt closed. I find three buttons that are the same... almost. They have a photo on them, black and white, of someone with their face painted for Day of the Dead. Two are girls and one's a guy. Then I find three more and I think they had a company logo on them. For some reason, when I woke up, it reminded me of the button that's in KB's cube at work... it says "Crabbie's" on it and it's orange.

Then I'm at Tiffany's. I have no idea how I know it's a Tiffany's. I think I'm at a bridal shower or some sort of event. I open an envelope and see that I have a gift certificate and there's a twenty dollar bill inside. I think the envelope was really old. Then I went through a door and started singing and KB was there. I wasn't singing this song, but now I can't get "Chandelier" by Sia out of my head. Some days I just wake up with a song.

Then I'm at a grocery store and I'm helping people check out. Making sure all the lines are going they way they should. This is recurring. I've never worked in a grocery store. You'd think I would start realizing I'm dreaming at this point haha... but noooooo.

Makin' Out with Crazy Beth

All I remember is that I was making out with a girl we used to call Crazy Beth. I was kissing all over her naked body, especially her stomach. Then I pulled myself away and I noticed that I had been making out with a life size magazine page of her. I turned around and she was standing on the stairs. I vaguely remember having a fight with her and she said she was leaving. So weird!

Grocery Store Theft

I'm in a grocery store and I stole something. I just walked right out of the store with it. I have no idea what it was that I stole. I went to my car in the parking lot to find that it was running and my mom and my sister were in the car waiting for me. I guess they were my getaway.

Sorority Halloween Pranks

This was really long but I don't remember much of it. I'm in college. On campus. Everyone walking around is in Halloween costumes. I'm looking over a fence at some people when my hairdresser friend Katie walks up with her husband Greg. Then I'm blowing kisses at some girls who are walking my way. The next thing I know I'm looking for some kid who's yelling that it's too bad he couldn't get to the other end of the park (I'm in an amusement park now apparently) because he didn't have enough money to pay for the ticket. He's making a big fuss about it. While I'm looking for him on this windy trail things get turned literally upside down. It was so weird I can't even explain it. Then some kid comes out of nowhere and blows dust in my face. I chase him and tell him that's not cool to do to unsuspecting people. I gave him a list of fraternity brothers I knew to prank instead.

I'm mad I didn't realize I was dreaming and try to perform the TOTM.

Cops on the Bus

I'm on a school bus. I know it's a school bus because at the back of the bus is the emergency door and the window... not like public transportation with a seat at the back. So I'm sitting with some people... they're police officers. I wonder if I'm in trouble??

Next thing I know, there's a ruckus at the back of the bus. One of the police officers tells me to go to the back and break it up. I look down in my lap and there's a badge in my lap!!! I clip the badge on the back pocket of my jeans and walk back to the back of the bus to see what's going on. Someone had broken a glass bottle. Standing at the back door to the bus is a guy I went to grade school and middle school with, Carl. I look at him and ask him what happened. He doesn't answer me and I get mad and tell him that someone better clean up that broken glass before someone gets hurt!! He doesn't do anything. I yell at him to give me the napkins he's now holding in his hand so that at least I could clean it up. He tells me, "You know, we don't talk like we used to."

Vitamins at the Grocery Store

Now I'm in a grocery store. I'm going up and down aisles and I see that it's like an after Christmas sale. There's just all sorts of junk lined up in no particular order. I look up at the ceiling and there's like barbecues hanging from the ceiling... and kids bikes. I have a shopping cart but I have no idea what I'm looking for. I must have had some stuff in my cart because I get in line to check out. Then I remember!! I need more Flintstones vitamins because I'm out!!! I run to get the vitamins, then...

The Award Show

I'm in a bathroom. Or a dressing room. Doing my makeup. I'm looking in a mirror. (score one point for a personal goal attained!) I'm putting on eyeliner, but I already have eyeliner on. So what I'm doing is adding another color above the brown that's already there... interesting. I do my left side fine. Then when I go to do my right eye, the eyeliner smears and I have to keep starting all over again.

I finish my makeup and now I'm in a beautiful white gown with a really really really long... wrap? It's not part of the dress... it's like what Starter had on in that scene in The Cell, that obnoxiously long cape... but white and with little raised dots about the size of a quarter all over it. I'm walking out onto a stage and it's an award show! I have just won the award for best outfit ever!! I'm so excited and I wonder if my makeup turned out ok. And then I wonder... if I'm at an awards show, why didn't someone else do my makeup? Anyway, I walk off stage and find a place to sit, which is difficult because of the size of my cape, and when I sit down I look at my shoes... ruby red high heels. I think this doesn't match at all. But they were awesome shoes!
