Hopeless Wanderings

lucid dream: 8-15-10

I haven't had a lucid in awhile so this was very unexpected

I had just woken up and went into the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and realized that something wasn't quite right so I looked down at my hands and I was missing some fingers. That's when I realized that I was dreaming. I got excited and started losing it so I tried a new technique(usually I dream spin to stabilize) and tried focusing on a shampoo bottle. Then everything in the room became really clear and I slowly made my way out my front door and stood on my driveway. I wanted to do one of my dream goals, which was to relive another dream that I had in the past, so I closed my eyes and imagined a bright yellow light. When I opened them, a guy from the sidewalk across the road started to float up and he was surrounded by the yellow light, like he was on fire or something. I think he might have exploded but I don't remember for sure. This wasn't the way it was supposed to be so I tried again. I don't remember what happened.
